A very intense song that applies to everyone... keep pressing forward people. Rock and Roll CAN and DOES help... Been a Twisted Sister fan since the early 80's... love em and hope to meet any of them someday...
A very overlooked hard rock ballad here! The lyrics are so deep! If u know the true meaning it will run chills up and down your spine! Twisted Sister THANK YOU! 🤘👍
Twisted sister takes us back to the mid 80's cruising the strip. We had no cell phones or video games so we all drove our hot rods around the city streets and cranked the tunes. Good times......!!!
This was my favorite song as a kid. I got "Stay Hungry" as my first cassette when I was 5. I never understood the song then. I just loved it. I understand completely now.
👽👽👽👽👽👽👽👽👽 We are listening in your human earth year, 2305. Your species died out in the year 2025, sorry if info from your future isn't what you wanted to hear.
When I first heard this song in 1984 I was a teenager going to your usual teenage problems. i must have listened to this song a million times back then. DECADES later I still listen to this song for inspiration. My problems have gotten much larger and much more expensive and this song still helps me get through the tough times.
Hang tough brother , I was 17 in 1984 and the 80's music helped me through some tuff times so I know somewhat of the things you may have went through and what you may be going through now.........HANG TOUGH BROTHER DONT LET IT BEAT YOU 💪🙏
Listening to their music I'm like, okay forget the silly costumes for a second, do you guys realize how fkn good you were? You're music stills holds up, decades later, and not too many can say that about their work. Hats off to you... sincere salute
I remember buying their Stay Hungry cassette from Wherehouse Music back in 1985. I would rewind and listen to this song over and over sometimes and it never got old. 32 years later here on RUclips I just listened to this song 3 times in a row and it sounded just as awesome to me as it did 32 years ago. Damn good song ! Dee Snider could really sing his ass off.
Was one of the first cassettes I ever got on my own, in 85 with my 10th b day money, and would listen to the whole cassette start to finish, over and over. Not a bad song on the whole album.
Que tal bro, por ejemplo a Northwinds de David Coverdale, también le darías la denominación de Power Ballad? U otra denominación le asienta mejor. Gracias
Still one of the greatest songs, IMO, from the 80s! I wish I could go back to those magical days when I was a 15 year old Metalhead! I heard this song after I lost my virginity. Kim let me drive her to Del Taco in her 81 Camaro. Then came the 90s. We had no clue what was about to transform our lives as Generation X. Grunge. What a time to be alive!
I had a complication tape with this song, the lady wore black by queensryche, accept balls to the wall, dio rock and roll children, among others. I still like all those songs. I think I was 13. First album was powerslave. By maiden.
I'll take "I Believe In You", but that's mostly because it speaks directly to my experience growing up. That was like a 4-minute biography of my childhood.
Brother this band will always stand up for what is right...and they will always make sure bands like the crue and metallica follow suit....this word gone crazy...
Last night I was listen to this song, then went to listening to Wasp . Neither band hasthe recognition that they should have gotten. Weird you posted that!
the whole Stay Hungry album ....a timeless 80's masterpiece..

Oh it's the price we gotta pay
And all the games we gotta play
Makes me wonder if it's worth it to carry on
'Cause it's a game we gotta lose,
Though it's a life we gotta choose
And the price is our own life until it's done
Time seems to have frozen
But the mind can be fooled
As the days pass I discover
Destiny just can't be ruled
Hard times,
Oh hard times,
For the prize, yes the prize,
I thought I knew
Oh it's the price we gotta pay

Porque no te valoras. Por ser un acomplejados.
The words are of gold. This is fact of life .I love twisted sister.
First time I heard this my friend played it for me, he passed away from throat cancer, 2 years ago. RIP brother I'm here for ya.
whos listning in 2021 with their eyes closed remebering better times, with better people. Rock on Brothers and Sisters, and yes its worth it to carry on! PS, this song helped get me clean from heroin, its not rock n roll, its not cool, Twisted Sister are rock and Roll!
Fucking a!
"better times, with better people" Amen to that Brother ! If only I could go back......................................even for just a day
Damn right. I was listening in 1984 and still am today. and still will be in 2041 if i'm alive. With every passing year, we get further and further away from these glory days. Music today just doesn't cut it.
🖐 Right here! Absolutely still love this band.
Oxy myself congrats
Such an underated singer. I never realized how good he was until much later when I heard the song on the radio. It was then I really listened to the words. It changed my life for the better. Thank you DEE SNIEDER for changing my life for the better. God bless you for helping me through a dark time in my life..
He was in court a hell of a lot,for explicit lyrics...and he held his ground and paved the way for other bands...yeah they kick ass..
such a great song! thank you,the band for these wonderful moments you share with us !!
A very intense song that applies to everyone... keep pressing forward people. Rock and Roll CAN and DOES help... Been a Twisted Sister fan since the early 80's... love em and hope to meet any of them someday...
I couldn't agree more
The Bible of Rock n’ Roll in a live video…pure harmony, ear-gasms all night long…
I'd like to see Dee,because he is not an idiot like many other "rock stars"
A very overlooked hard rock ballad here! The lyrics are so deep! If u know the true meaning it will run chills up and down your spine! Twisted Sister THANK YOU! 🤘👍
very true if you can hear or see the truth within the truth
Yes!
All aboard. Super truckers to the dump
Twisted sister takes us back to the mid 80's cruising the strip. We had no cell phones or video games so we all drove our hot rods around the city streets and cranked the tunes. Good times......!!!
Oh yeah ! Me n' my badass '72 Charger takin' on all comers
& blastin' the hell out of TS, Dokken, Motorhead, etc.... BEST times........
One of the best ballads ever made. Top voice, guitar and rhythm
It's 2023 and I am listening 🎧 to this awesome song 🤩❤ keep on rocking Mr.snider

@@Кри-ш9ш Песня-которая старше меня на 10лет! Звучание особое!
That's true
This was my favorite song as a kid. I got "Stay Hungry" as my first cassette when I was 5. I never understood the song then. I just loved it. I understand completely now.
hell yeah I never stopped listening to twisted sister
I've been a SMF since 83. Absolutely love this song.
SMF 's forever!!!!
One of the deeper, more serious songs TS ever did. And it kicks ass and is taking names.
leftcoaster67
leftcoaster67 Relax, every hair band had a ballad or two.
It kicks so much ass it doesn't have time to take names !!!!!!!
Christopher Burns or 3, or 4, or over 10 like Bon Jovi

Good ballad song indeed!! 🎸🎶🎵🎵🙂👌👌
When I first heard this song in 1984 I was a teenager going to your usual teenage problems. i must have listened to this song a million times back then. DECADES later I still listen to this song for inspiration. My problems have gotten much larger and much more expensive and this song still helps me get through the tough times.
Hang tough brother , I was 17 in 1984 and the 80's music helped me through some tuff times so I know somewhat of the things you may have went through and what you may be going through now.........HANG TOUGH BROTHER DONT LET IT BEAT YOU 💪🙏
Great song like u went through the same
Listening to their music I'm like, okay forget the silly costumes for a second, do you guys realize how fkn good you were? You're music stills holds up, decades later, and not too many can say that about their work. Hats off to you... sincere salute
Its the music
Their songs are timeless messages of hope --- not about "wet ass pussy"
It's silly but the best and the coolest at its time..keep rockin
De mis favoritas
Special guitar sound
Listening to Dee sing this song on repeat gives me so much inspiration to make my goals reality, thank you Twisted Sister.
Still listening to this beautiful piece of music in London Ontario Canada 2024 still sounds great as ever and always will be there
Excelente banda ótima musica perfeita saudades dos anos 80 e 90 TWISTED SISTER para sempre
Excelente banda saudades dessa época que não volta mais
Да, охуенные были времена...
This song is right on so many levels!
This is the Real rock 😊
Pedazo de tío ortera 😂
I remember buying their Stay Hungry cassette from Wherehouse Music back in 1985. I would rewind and listen to this song over and over sometimes and it never got old. 32 years later here on RUclips I just listened to this song 3 times in a row and it sounded just as awesome to me as it did 32 years ago. Damn good song ! Dee Snider could really sing his ass off.
Stay hungry LOL
On my second!!!! Damn right the 80.
He was a choir boy
Was one of the first cassettes I ever got on my own, in 85 with my 10th b day money, and would listen to the whole cassette start to finish, over and over. Not a bad song on the whole album.
I wasnt a big fan but 30 years later im rethinking that. Cool song and burn in hell i like alot

Great song great album I bought it when it came out in 84 I was only a freshman in high school but I have loved it ever since
Still one of the greatest songs, IMO, from the 80s!
This was the first album I ever owned - It was on cassette. I was 10 years old, this song never left me. So amazing.
This was also my first album, also on cassette, I was 7! I still love this song.
Me too!!! Age 10 … on record. I was so proud to own it. Still have that record somewhere .
I had a complication tape with this song, the lady wore black by queensryche, accept balls to the wall, dio rock and roll children, among others. I still like all those songs. I think I was 13. First album was powerslave. By maiden.

I was very happy when I heard this during a Twisted Sister concert back in 2004. This band never gets old. I will never forget that night.
Definitely one of their best. Whole song is a story of life
Personally I still think this is the best song by TS. It wasnt as big as the others but it really shows Snyders vocal ability
House of Hair by Dee is GREAT . SORRY to see TS end.
I agree bro , best song by TS
I'll take "I Believe In You", but that's mostly because it speaks directly to my experience growing up. That was like a 4-minute biography of my childhood.
Strong voice indeed
Agreed! Probably the best guitar playing of all their tunes too. Pretty easy but to the point!
I grew up listening to twisted sister ❤
Oh the nostalgia I just love them 😍
Best rock band of the 80’s.
HOW LONG HAVE I BEEN LISTENING TO THIS SONG...OH SINCE IT CAME AT IN THE 80'S...STILL ROCKING IN 2024🎸🇺🇸
Twister system 🤘que viva nosso eterno Rock and roll!!!!!! Um Hino para nossos ouvidos
This is a amazing song, one of my favorites Twisted Sister's song
The saddest part of rocking is when the person who gave you the best memories becomes a memory.
And dee snider is a smart man that never gave up to succeed
@@davidkemp8721 he's still alive dude unless you mean he got stupid lol
Brother this band will always stand up for what is right...and they will always make sure bands like the crue and metallica follow suit....this word gone crazy...
He's got new solo stuff few years old
Lovely memories
Underrated band. That album rocks.
A timeless classic. I had this on cassette as a kid and 30 years later I still love it!!!

First heard 27 yrs ago and still love it till now. The lyrics really got me.
Like a fine wine, this one keeps getting better and better. Rock on TS.....
One of the best twisted sister ballads!
Loved this song when I was younger. But it’s the kind of song that when you grow up it holds so much more meaning. ❤️
Dee snider doesnt get the credit that he deserve as a singer.... heck the whole band deserves much more
Muchachito
Thats true its the same with Wasp & Blackie Lawless.
Now they got the cred they deserve.
Muchachito I believe you're right. Great voice, no credit.
Last night I was listen to this song, then went to listening to Wasp . Neither band hasthe recognition that they should have gotten. Weird you posted that!
