    2 Warranty returns, a bad bolt, bad spring, bad mag bar, and a damaged door thing from one of those failing.
    That DT social media account must be feeling pretty silly right about now...

    Imagine how awesome of a company desert tech would be if they ever figured out how to make a gun that works the first time.

      This is the truth i am a x2 owner of MDRX, neither has ran flawless. For rifle they want to be military grade they fall short. For as long as the MDR/X has been made they should have it ironed out better than this. I mean PSA released the JAKL and had better results than DT every hoped

      @@TH-qf1en Now they are dropping support and parts for MDRX, although I saw an employee comment in another video that they are still servicing rifles from 12 years ago so our MDRX's will still probably be taken care of. Hopefully they have spare parts if something on ours breaks. I would love it if they bought back my mdrx - se and I could buy the WLVRN for a difference. That is, if all the parts and receiver changes don't malfunction on this new one...

    Seems like Classic Firearms also had an issue with a SR25 PMAG dropping out of .308 rifle with one of their mags. I wonder if those mags are more prone to issues with the catch. I remember Karl from InRange also had issues with 25rd mags with the MDR/MDRX. Wonder if Magpul put out some bad batches at some point.

    How do the drum mags feel in the bullpup? Does it get in the way of your arm, or is it out of the way, & totally comfotable to utalize?

      It's awkward, but usable, it's gets in the way of your normal grip.

    What gas setting are you running with your huxwrx can? I have a similar setup with my wlvrn and I need to run it on S(second lowest) with the huxwrx or it will have FTE. I get it I go higher on my gas settings it will get some weird fte where the casing will spin 180 degrees. This was confirmed with shooting 1 round and it locking back on the empty mag and seeing the casing facing backwards.

      @DesertCoyotes  Месяц назад +1

      Mine will do the same thing, running it on the S setting. One up is when I got the two stovepipes

      @DesertCoyotes  Месяц назад +6

      I would say might be worth waiting just a little bit, unless you just can't wait. Mine is a sample size of one, be good to see what other peoples experience is with it.

    Do you think the front mag release is necessary or should they just make a GOOD rear release?

    • @DesertCoyotes
      @DesertCoyotes  Месяц назад +2

      I think it makes reloading a lot easier, but I'm also used to the X95, T7, and AR15 releases.

    They should redesign the 2 gen from scratch and change up the look. Like how iwi did with the tavors.
