Thanks! Depends on how you define ground clearance... for me, since the headers are still the lowest point, ground clearance doesn't change. But, if you define it by how far away is it from the bottom of my oil pan, it's about 3/8" to 1/2" lower... I think it'll make more sense in the next video. Thanks for the comment!
I agree with others,👍 very cool design and protection for the headers? I have a stock oil pan on my 70' GS 455, and I've never hit anything but I have scraped and flattened a set of long tubes. My fix was to buy a set of shorties, but I sacrificed a little HP. I think your design will sell.
Thanks! Yeah, it's not intended to protect long tube headers... just the oil pan, for now. Not sure if you've seen Engine Masters? They did an episode on crushed or dented headers. There was no difference in performance. So, we have that going for us, ha, ha... thanks for the comment!
