🛶 DUGOUT CANOE OMELETS!!🛶 ...My husband likes classic Denver omelettes with ham, and I LOVE a 🍄 mushroom omelete with light cheddar or Swiss cheese! ...For some reason, a handheld omelette makes me think of a PIZZA🍕FLAVORED, with a tiny bit of pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, mushrooms, very thin onion, pre-cooked Italian sausage and topped with pepperoni (like English muffin pizza ingredients)... Oh! 🛶
This looks like a great idea! You can customize to suit everyones preference. I think I would generously brush the insides of the boats with melted butter then pop them in the freezer for 10 mins or so. That would place a barrier between the wet egg mixture and the dry boat. I don't want any of mine leaking out. I want to enjoy it all. Good one!

Or smear some cream cheese on the bottom before adding the eggs.
Not enough egg to be an omelette. Too much bread here.

I would add chopped mushrooms and diced tomatoes with the peppers and onions and add extra cheese on top. Tomatoes and eggs always go well together. You could use Polish sausage, cooked and chopped, or even fried Spam. Good idea you have here! What about a pizza boat or taco boat for lunch or a roast beef and gravy boat for supper? All, of course, with plenty of cheese on top!
I'd have to nix the SPAM...when I was a kid, my mom would bake SPAM in the oven with cloves and pineapple for dinner...this was in the 60s and I hated it...then when we would spend the night at my cousins, my aunt (my mom's sister) would make sandwiches for our lunch with SPAM right out of the can and I hated it...of course, on both occasions, I was forced to eat it! They both "loved their culinary" surprises! Surprisingly, SPAM is very popular in Hawaii and on restaurant menus, etc. My husband liked it, sliced and fried with eggs and potatoes for Sunday breakfast...being a good wifey, I made it for him, but NEVER ate it again once I grew up and left home!

Ooooh, this looks so yummy! I would sauté some mushrooms, too and add them. I also learned from another RUclips-er that if you want really fluffy eggs, do not add any milk or cream... the key is to whip the raw eggs until your arm hurts... lol... until you get a nice froth on top.
No white is ever in my scrambled eggs, lol.
(That can be seen is what I mean, haha!!).

I’m not sure if it’s looking at the ingredients you’re using or listening to you describe the recipe. You have such a pleasant voice. Very enjoyable to listen to. These sound scrumptious. I think I’d like mine the way you made them but cover them in sausage gravy. ❤❤❤

It's a different, unique and great Holiday idea!! Except for the Baking, you can do everything else the night before, especially for busy mornings such as Christmas!!

Other than splitting in half lengthwise and making sandwiches I really didnt know what to do with croissants. What a yummy idea to make boats with them for the omelets! Now its got me thinking what else I could put in a croissant boat lol? God bless.

I’d add some chopped asparagus & a few diced up mushrooms ❤! Served with some home fries!! I save all kinds of bread pieces in a gallon-size bag to add to stuffing! I love your channel!😊

I think I would cook everything in a skillet together then put it in the croissant and top with cheese and put in an air fryer for a couple minutes.

I made an omelette once with bacon, eggs, mushrooms and cheese and it was heavenly, especially when I topped it with avocado! That combination would be good with a croissant wrapped around it! 😘
