I am 53 now and never ever was on Metallica concert. I am so happy that I was there ! Although my heart belongs to Scorpions since I was 16, I am telling you: that was the best concert in my life. Really. I will NEVER forget it! THANK YOU METALLICA ! And one thing: when the concert started, you guys played despite the intensive rain. No behave like a diva, respect !!!
I was there, I can't wait for the next concert in Poland.

After 24 gigs, there is no doubt Poland ranks among the best places I've been too, all over Europe (coming from Denmark). Everything from the city, the people and especially both gigs were absolutely stellar. I'll definitely come back next tour if they play there again.

This isn't bad, BUT....
I've been in this concert and GOD this vid doesn't even give back the 5% of the whole vibe. They are freakin loud and chrystal clear. It was like 115 dB in the whole stadium. They kicked the asses of 75 000 people for two hours for two days and WE LOVED IT!!!
Yea, the energy on this song was insane. I was in the first row in the snake pit, but I said fuck it and went into moshpit on this one when I heard the intro :D

@@FKCENSORSHIP unfortunately the bass drum is quantised as fuck post recording after the soundboard. if you dont know what quantization i'd suggest learning about that kinda stuff :D lars is a legend no doubt, nothing left to prove, the quantising is why the double bass sounds good in this recording and anything that probably sounds good live from him released by metallica

@@JamesWilliams-nb8ig you can compare it with any audience recording from Warsaw, Lars ALWAYS (even in '89, even on the Live Sh!t DVD) stopped the double bass runs a couple measures early, he could never really push it to a neat stop on the crash hit.
And the normalisation on some bass drum hits is so wild it sounds like it's whiffing or something.
I want to make clear that I love Lars, love the band, and that their performance is more live than 99% of the acts out there.
I'm just pinpointing stuff because:
1) it's silly to think Lars is a god because of a doctored audio, the very same way it's stupid to say he sucks when there are obvious quality/technical issues
2) it's sad that music industry set these standards where this tweaks are mandatory
What about the people I've talked to that seem him live and said he was awesome live?

20 years ago in Gothenburg, Blackened was the first song I heard Metallica perform live. They were great already then, but unbelievably, they're even better today, 20 years later!

Big job here does post production. But even live they had probably the best mixing I've heard, wich is especially impressive since PGE has really bad acoustics.
Man, Lars is feckin' KILLING it. The rehearsing with a click is really paying off. This is the most consistent he's sounded since the early 90's. To make that kind of change is never easy. What an absolute badass.
