Can we take a moment to appreciate how freaking awesome it is to get full, HD, high quality recordings for FREE pretty darn often nowadays? I remember when I had to hunt for VHS tapes that would be released once in a full moon and later on for DVDs and manually controlling it back and forth with a remote. Finding them was particularly difficult in my country as well. Now with a single notification showing up, wham, here we are!

Older fan here...love these video's. And Metallica is still King and will stay King...but not so much for me I have to say :( I loved waiting and waiting and waiting for news, for live tapes, for live b-tracks or live vhs and dvd's. It was more a mystery. What will they do? Now I now this and see this performance which is 100% accurate...strange...Metallica always made small mistake...I like those mistakes...so not a big fan of this edited performances. (how they do it: like any other band. film the performance of that night, and edit the sound with oter performances till it is alomost perfect...you don't expect mr. Ulrich perfectionist to just drop a performance on the net like that :P :P). Still for younger fans it's amazing.

Yes, after their S&M and his return I thought he was done for. Somehow, he came back just as strong as back then. I have NO idea how he did it.
It's a shame for other bands though because, for example, I cannot listen to Dream Theater anymore, their singer just spoils the whole thing live so I stick to recordings or the occasional nice live performance.

God bless you guys. I've seen you on the Howard Stern. Show about a week or so young you're alive. I've been a fan since I was not even a teenager. 53 years you guys rock I will and I would never. Depart from you guys as my favorite rock group.

How about adding another song from the AFJA album to this tour's set list?
It's been ten years since the last time "And Justice for All" was played live, so that would be a good choice.
Although any other song from AFJA than One, Blackend and Harvester of Sorrow being played live on the m72 tour would be a memorable event!

@@DerSilvano That would be historical. Especially that the last people to have heard this song live are now old dudes that either have the same age than the band or that are on their 50's (last time played during the Justice tour in the late 80's)

@@John_Locke_108 To Live is to Die would be great alternative to the song Orion: Both are instrumentals, both where written by Burton, and both are the perfect hommage to the wonderful composer this band had the chance to have in their early days.
BTW: Suicide & Redemption (whose code name during the Death Magnetic recording was KTULU II) would also be a great alternative for the song The Call of Ktulu, but I'm digressing.

What an awesome vid... .saw them a few months back in Detroit. Metallica always brings it. I'm always awestruck at how much effort they put into their shows... I don't think these guys could phone it in if their life depended on it....
Was supposed to see them this weekend in Chicago, but had to sell the tix.
Happy to see them healthy and still killing it!
