Jimmy, I need to ask your help in finding my first airplane.
Hi Jimmy, by watching your videos I’m saving money. Because I don’t have to buy my morphine patches. Thanks from Down Under 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺👍🏻👏😊
Thanks Jimmy that was awesome
@@j-er6ynso true, no proof the fat toad ever flew on it in addition he didn’t personally buy it, his father signed his name.
Can I borrow a plane for my flight training lol
Jimmy lived to edit the video so I guess he survived.
Or they recovered the go pros from the site ;)
@@therealjimmysworld Ha!
Nah bro it was jimmy’s spirit who edited the video
They got the cvr
😂😂😂
That was smoother than smooth. She's a pretty bird!! Oh... loved the crash dummy outfit as well😂😂
Thanks for the video.
Thanks so much! That’s how I felt… hahahaha
You know it’s serious when you send a voice message to the wifey before starting it up.
Jimmy...I have managed to survive after 25,000 hours in everything from helos to 747's. You are pushing the limits old boy! Stay safe,.
That's "Plant City, TWIN Piper Blue Tarp Special..." LOL. Welcome home. Good job.
What could possibly go wrong 🤔
Nice to see The Blue Tarp Special back in the air. Glad you were able to save another plane.
Thanks so much! Me too! This one is just getting started :)
Sweet!! Love those Aztecs!
"Kind of slightly massively important." Love you, Jimmy.
Thank God for a safe flight great job 👍🏆
You got that right!
Amen amen gratitude to God
My very first time I ever flew in an airplane. I was 18 yrs old & flew with my friends, boy friend from Camaron Park, CA to San Louis Abisbo, CA & returned two days later. Before we took off we waited at the Placerville CA Airport so he could take his Pilots flying test! He past his test with flying colors. He put his flight plan together & off we went in a Rented Beach Craft 4 seat plane. I couldn't really believe my mother let me go. I was of course nervous at first but he let me fly the plane for awhile, although he controled the foot pedals. I got hooked 😮. In my twenties, I started my ground school. Unfortunately, life has away of changing plans. So, I never completed ground school. I still love airplanes. I have flown alot on commercial airlines. I even got to know some of the Blue Angels flight crew & pilots back in the day. I Attended a lot of air shows. I am 66 yrs old & regret I never accomplished that goal. So, if you want to learn to fly, I say, go for it! ❤
Jesus has your back my brother. God bless. Be safe.
Jimmy, you’ve absolutely got to take the “3:10 To Yuma”!
I absolutely love your kind of optimistically craziness. Older people might call it Zany. Keep em coming mate. Fair winds to you and your guardian angel is on overtime!,,
Much appreciated
Just nonchalantly tightening a counterweight and taking the tarped bird up in the air and home... nothing to see here. Woot! Congrats!
Just another day… 😎
The best phrase you have ever said in all your videos “I’m right with Jesus”
That’s awesome buddy!!!!!🎉🎉
Jimmy, I never seen a man that was right with Jesus and had balls big as church bells. Keep on layin that shit down my man.
Hahaha! Thanks!
Went with a buddy on his first flight after he received his license. That's how I felt the whole time. If I would've sat on a lump of coal there would've been a DIAMOND when I landed. Excellent job my friend. 👍
hahaha!!! so true!!! I should check for diamonds... hahahaha
Hey Jimmy glad you made it. It’s D at the Bessemer Airport hope you have a good time with the blue tarp special come back and visit
Hey D! Thanks again for you and your whole team’s help getting this project done. I really am glad I got to meet you and I look forward to coming back again!
Love the crash test dummy outift, and "i'm good with jesus" should be your next t-shirt
Just now getting around to watching this. Good deal on getting it home. I did see you at OSH and I told you I DO NOT show you videos to my wife. She’d never get in a plane with me again if I did. BTW, I was nearby at Winter Haven get a new rating after Thanksgiving, something at F57. Wish I would have had time to stop by. Good luck and good flying my friend.
Pilots fly twins so they always have an engine to take them to the scene of the accident.
Exactly!
We loved the video. I felt you excitement when you landed at KPCM🌺❤️
Aloha from the Big Island of Hawaii!
Aloha!
At least this video is more interesting than an RV and a derelict jet, once owned by Elvis!
Love the blue tarp special and you to my friend. I would love to go flying soon and maybe it could be with you buddy. God bless you my friend.
"What could go wrong" 🤣🤣🤣🤣!! You made it!! Great job 👏 👍 👌!!
Exactly!
Busted out Laughing when I saw the CRASH TEST DUMMY SUIT!!!!!!
That's what my insides were feeling.... hahaha
What a small world we're living in. I'd remember bathing into the river in my dirty pair of jeans but I'm not sweating any long travel. Namastè.
Love your crash dummy outfit...lol
What a journey!
For real and now the real work begins.
I was nervous right with ya ... and then relieved there too. 😏
Thank you! It was the opposite of a relaxing flight!
I knew when you said you were right with Jesus everything would be just fine. Awesome video and congrats on a successful first blue tarp special flight.
Awesome! Thank you!
Love this plane.
Thanks! It is a great find.
The family flyer in the early 80's was a PA23-250, I recall taking off from London Gatwick (EGKK) and getting a "door ajar" warning. We did the circuit whilst all those commercial jets were waiting and landed, pulled off just in front of the space suited ARFF vehicle. Reset the front cargo door, then headed off back home. So good to see one brought back to life.
Good luck Jimmy. You make me smile 8)
NICE WORK START TO FINISH, I KNOW THE LEG SHAKE 😅
Thanks! And yeah… that was real!
She's a pretty bird. Nice to see her back in the air.
Got my private ticket at Plant City in ‘93 when David Mitchell run the FBO. Lived in the subdivision on 574 and Turkey Creek. Country Hills. Lived there in Florida from ‘88-‘03. Moved out of Florida.
Probably a good idea not to tempt fate by wearing yoir "What could possibly go wrong " shirt for that flight!
Jimmy you never fail to make me laugh!!! Gotta love your inner child!!!
Go for it jimmy your going to be just fine Elvis is with you 😅😅
Beautiful aircraft and flight. Congrats on getting her home. Best jump seat ride I’ve had all week!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the ride :)
I totally agree.........Thanks for the great trip Jimmy.......
The reverand jimmy done you proud boy you nailed that what could possibly go wrong nicely done sir crack on
3:50 This is why we preflight! Good find.

Blue tarp special!
Hell to the ya!
Oh yeah!
Had me at the EDGE OF MY SEAT Jimmy!!! Great vid!
Thanks! Me too! Hahaha
Bag of luck getting a little lighter, but that experience bag getting heavier!!
Very true!
@@therealjimmysworld might be time for a humble cowboy video…probably off brand but might still be well received?
so Jimmy's new shirt would be a flight test dummy! great job Jimmy 🎉
"Trust me, I'm a Test Pilot" hahahaha
[REDACTED] [REDACTED] Great work on the blue tarp special. [REDACTED] save a Aerostar
Thanks! One day…. I know an aerostar is going to happen eventually
@@therealjimmysworldmaybe you could visit Eric and get a intro Aerostar flight, it may not be what you really need in a family aircraft. It would be a great video where the worlds collide! Jimmy’s world meets Eric’s world and a Aerostar.
Talk about coming in hot . My heart was in my mouth
N4853P is a 1961 Piper PA23-250 very well kept up and beautifully flown Jimmy
Congrats for the airborne blue tarp special.
As far as the radio goes Jimmy…that is what we mechanics call a “R&R faulty flight suit insert. Instructed new insert to use ON mode vs. O F F mode. Ops checks good, no defects noted”. Lol
hahaha, yep! had it flipped up to the speaker ... doh!
Great pre flight inspection on the elevator, saved you tail!
I was more impressed with the preflight findings on the aileron counterweight…;)
I would've kept the crash dummy jumpsuit on throughout the flight because even if something went terribly wrong, when they found you, you would be in a crash dummy jumpsuit and that would be pretty funny😅😅
****VETERAN SCOTS GUARDS***THANX FOR THE VIDS. God BLESS you all jimmy
I really hope that paint job is kept. Though blue is my favorite color.
Sounds great
Yeah man!
Never doubt the mighty Piper Aztec 😂
Good looking plane!!! That had me on the edge of my seat.
Thanks so much, she is turning out pretty good.
Good to see the girl up in the air again, worth the effort I hope! 😎
It is!
As long as it works, that's a nice Aztec!
WaaaayTo Go! Got the BTS home! Looking forward to more videos on the full restoration. Looking forward to the Oshkosh trip. The Adventure Continues!
Thanks! See you there!
Congrats on the successful flight of the blue tarp special.
jimmy i have been watching u for 3 yrs now and you inspired me to become a pilot thank you
Well done Jimmy, good to see you down on the ground safely.
Thank you! Yes, the ground was a welcome relief
Jimmy, please wear a parachute when you do this! I'll buy you one if needed. PLEASE GOD SPEED JIMMY
Parachutes are for quitters… Lol
Nice flight Jimmy. What a beauty of an airplane.
Thanks so much! Yeah, she’s really coming together.
When you said you might land in cross city to get fuel I actually live like 20 minutes form there lol glad you made it tho
Very cool!
@@therealjimmysworld I'm new to your channel and love your content I actually found you wen Bruce and Tim gentry hauled your Elvis jet, I been following them since day 1
Great job great video thanks Jimmy
Always great to have another successful flight. :) Glad you made it home safely. :)
G’day from Australia! 🇦🇺
Awesome video Jimmy 👍 Can just imagine how hard your heart was pounding and what a relief it must have been to have your feet back on the ground. She’s a great looking plane, you’ve done a great job bringing her back to life…well done!
Thanks so much! Yes… I was surprised the mic didn’t pic up my heartbeat! Hahaha
Hi from another Australian! I like how you keep the commentary going, like "boost pumps on" etc...its like having a flying lesson. Good to see you being cautious doing preflight, and attending to the fault you found. Is it true that some counterweights were made of depleted uranium?
Great flight Jimmy
Thanks for the lift :)
That was stressful and you were in good hands. Pretty fast approach greased it. Nice
Nice job Jimmy, good situational awareness. Totally understand the nervousness.
Thanks!
Awesome landing
BRAVO!
You’re flying! Great!
Glad you got her home Jimmy!
If you're flying through the area the week before OSH, stop by CWI and say hey to the Cessna 150-152 Club. Our annual fly-in runs the 18 through the 21st.
wooohooo bessemer!!! yaya . home of the bessemer steel process. and deadly hot in summer
I love 310s
The great ones make it look easy. Awesome flight Jimmy! YOU DA MAN!!! Save the Aztec!
Thanks!
Sounds awesome on the pass after lift-off. shame that didn't stay as smooth!
Piece of cake Jimmy. I knew you had it all the way.
I’m glad one of us did! Lol
From my vantage point, you made that look textbook easy. I was impressed with the take off and departure, the sound of the motors sounded great!. Only thing I didn't catch was when an arow pointed to something at the left gear, was the gear door stuck open? Other than the hiccup you stated about with the fuel switchover it looked like a routine flight. I like that old bird, you and your team did a great job getting it back in the air!. Thanks for the great content Jimmy.
Sky King couldnt have done it any better congts
Nice! Thanks
You the Man
Thanks so much!
Glad you made it home safe and sound. Enjoy Oshkosh!
Thank you! Will do!
So happy to see you made it safely. Thanks for taking me along Jimmy!
Pushing 400k subs Jimmy! I love your videos!
Yeah boy!!
@therealjimmysworld I showed a guy at my work your videos, and he looks exactly like you, mustache and all. You have a doppelganger in lake tahoe area NV! Haha. Can't wait to see what's next in what can possibly go wrong. Well not much if you dealing with airplanes. 🫢
Love It, Jimmy, I doubt we will ever meet but that is my thing when you go flying!
Flew really good ... good plane ... 😊😊😊
Thanks Jimmy for a safe flight. You did great man!
Beautiful plane
Always enjoyed your videos.
I appreciate that!
I'm always happy to see a video from Jimmy because I know he didn't die.
Honestly this feels dangerous, you should put it on a trailer, take it home and make a trailer or gazebo or something out of it.
Yeah… it was dangerous but not dangerous at the same time.
The old Gal looks and sounds good. Glad you had a safe flight. Cheers from N.E. Ohio
