I’m so glad someone like you ended up with that jet! I was in the process of buying that exact jet when I came across my Gnat! The seller told me that someone else wanted it and (at first) I thought they were using that tactic to push me to hurry and buy it, such a beautiful jet! Glad it’s truly gone to someone who seems to really appreciate it like it deserves! Congrats and I hope I get to see you fly it someday!
It truly is an exceptional airplane. The previous owners put the money in the right places to make it safe. I'm looking forward to bringing it down to Florida and taking it to an even higher level. I do plan on doing some airshows in the Southeast US. Thank you for your comment! I'm really glad this channel is allowing me to bring together fellow aviators and aviation fans like yourself to share our passions.
@@AirtimeTony you should definitely do some airshows, the strikemaster has a very unique design and will definitely stand out as a fascinating aircraft
Well done! I flew a Strikemaster here in Australia for about 5 years. Lovely jet to fly and the side by side seating is much better for you and your passengers than in tandem.
Yes, I am very excited about flying her - and I agree the side-by-side is going to be great for the folks I take up. I flew a Marchetti SF260 and loved the side-by-side seating. That very cool you got to fly a Strikemaster for 5 years.
The Jet Provost/Strikemaster was the first jet I got to get my hands dirty on. Great aircraft to work on, even if some jobs can be a little awkward at times.
Let us sim guys live vicariously through your uploads. Only seen a Provost up close one time at a small fly-in. Was amazed when this jet came into land and taxi up to a group of crop dusters and Kit planes.
Thanks, I feel honored to be able to take care of this great example of a Strikemaster. The previous owner invested a lot into restoration. I plan to continue to take it to the next level.

Over here in England around 15 year's ago or so a guy had a Provost at Santoft aifield not too far from me . He took his brother up and didn't realise the passenger seat wasn't locked - went inverted and his brother " left the building " straight throught the canopy . One of those things to check that's maybe not on the pre flight check list . Late 60's 70's 80's had the provosts flying daily out of RAF Finningley , straight over my house . Locally they were known as " pea pod planes " due to the wingtip tanks lol .
Very, very cool. Can't wait to see more videos on this. I hope down the line you can give us some long format videos of you just cruising around and working the equipment with a headmounted camera. I'd be surprised if this channel doesnt explode within the next few months. Have fun and fly safe!
Thank you for your comment! We are having a lot of fun, and hope to create videos people love. We are going to be doing some really cool camera shots in future videos, as well as amping up what we are showing, including aerobatics and videos with the Strikemaster.
Be aware, there are very few Strikemasters left flying. Parts can be tough to find. Make sure it is flight ready before you buy it. Dont recommend a project. Wishing you the best.
Thanks Tony....I don't think I'll go that direction. I've got my hands full with a Beech 18 at the moment. I like the classic military jets and I flew several when active duty but the maintenance is scary. Thanks again.@@AirtimeTony
For sure 😂 eventually, I plan on getting a Fighter Jet with an afterburner, like a MIG 17, or a F5. So from that perspective, its affordable LOL. Thanks so much for the comment!
Gorgeous Aircraft... But I think you have the designation wrong. I believe it comes under Trainer and Light Attack Aircraft. Its pedigree was the T-37. Regardless: A very nice aircraft to proudly own and operate. My compliments Sir !!!
Hi Mike, this was the second video we put up on RUclips. Check out the channel, every Strikemaster video after this one has flight time (minus the paint restoration of course). I agree it much more fun to fly than chat, but RUclips algorithm doesn't always agree...😂

Living the dream ! I totally understand. Picked up a VodoChody L-39 two years ago
Lovely! Can't wait to see more.
Thank you! There will be a lot more coming once we get it out of the winter weather of Chicago, and get the Strikemaster home to Florida.

That's awesome - Thanks for the comment, enjoy the channel.
Congratulations! Have fun with it!

Thanks for watching, happy to take you along on the journey as we get closer to flying her! Love the sims, its amazing how accurate some of them are.
Awesome choice! Glad the jet came into passionate hands!
Thank you!
Wow! More power to you brother! Slip the surly bonds!
Thank you very much! We plan on flying her a fair amount once we get her back to Florida.
Awesome!👍
Truly lovely example.
I remember seeing them display at RAF Leuchars(Jet Provost).
Very quick jet and that viper engine can roar impressively!
That is one of the thing I love about the jet... is that sound!
The gravity point is center for flyings. A jet wings on high golden meltings. One time only please.
Congratulations!
I hope that you and everyone so blessed fully appreciates their good fortune each and every day. 🙂
That is very kind of you to say. I do feel truly blessed indeed, and I hope the same for you as well.
Awesome!!!
Thats awesome .. congratulations on making your dream come true. Be safe.
Thank you!! Trust me... safety is my UTMOST concern. We are going slowly and methodically, as we are getting ready for our first flight.
Great video !!
Good for you buddy! A watershed moment in one's life - enjoy being the custodian of a lovely airplane.

God bless you and your dream
Thank you very much, I really do appriciate that.
Great story. Initially I though it is L-39NG Albatros but then the window slides not opens and immediately I have woken up it is not.
Congratulations. I look forward to following your channel.
Thank you, really glad to have you along. Enjoy the videos!

One of the first military jets I ever saw in the sky was an RNZAF Strikemaster! Hello from NZ.
That's awesome. I've been to NZ twice now - wonderful country!

Congratulations Tony...there is one for sale on Trade-a-plane. Do you have an opinion on that one?

Affordable strikemaster. Never seen those two words together before. 😂
For sure 😂 eventually, I plan on getting a Fighter Jet with an afterburner, like a MIG 17, or a F5. So from that perspective, its affordable LOL. Thanks so much for the comment!
This would not be the former ZU-PER would it?
This Strikemaster was No# 312 out of the Singapore airforce, and it is a MK 84
Is it ex RNZAF?

Thank you kindly!
Provost - pronounced: "provust" not pre vost.
Thanks, man! 👍
Why does everybody think anybody wants to watch what they do? The internet has made you stupid.
Again: so, zero flight footage? All talking??? Just be quiet and fly the plane. OMG.
