Would that connector affect only my front AC. I had my battery die and replaced the alternator but now the front ac wont blow. The rear works fine its just the front
No it’s same system that cool the strum maybe blend door or low Freon
Is the same the compressor valve or different part

Thanks for sharing! I followed this video to replace this sensor on my 2011 Highlander. I used soldering iron to melt/remove the sensor, as it was stuck as well. Also, I looped a strong rope under the sensor to pull it out once I melted enough plastic from the top. I did not have to remove the expansion tank.
Nice I didn’t think of the soldering iron I had that lol anyways good job!!
Toyota dealers are making bank on this malfunction. They won’t sell you just a sensor. You have to buy a brand new compressor from them or go aftermarket. Or at least that was the case a year ago.
Ps- this job is much easier on the sedans … like a Camry.. you can reach snap ring pliers right in there.
Oh yeah!! Yup this is crazy I had few customers while back with this they went to dealer to get diagnostic and was told compressor $1800

I would've tried the heat a wood screw up then let it melt itself into the back of the sensor, let it cool and then try to yank it out. The broken wheel speed sensor trick
