That engine loves being on it's limit ahah, there's a guy here in Portugal with a 440hp turbo 318is and that thing is crazy, and he doesn't have a lot of mods to the engine, just a lot of spare engines... Ahahah

Hey I was wondering if I can do this on my BMW e46 316i 2005 I got a nice one white 90000 kilometers on the clock and the paint is stil real nice only it lacks some power can I put a turbo like this in my car and whil it run smooth?
Hey, what tool and program did u use to tune the ecu ? (By stock i m guessing is a motronic m1.7.3 ecu right?)

Think they're volvo but they drop in. Quick google if you're confused.

You can get a 6cyl manifold and I think you flip some of it then weld and it works, there is quite a bit of info on FB groups

Lads what diff sits there? Cause 2nd looks REALLY short. I think that with longer 2nd it will be flying with more stable angles on longer curves for sure better. Despite of this, dope built. Shreds as good as mine ;)
Thanks bro! This was a 4.44 diff. I agree with a 3.15 it would have loved 2nd gear a lot more!
@@itsmikelake damn, so I had good ear-dyno, that it closes 2nd gear waaay to fast for stock diff 😋 3.38/3.45 works with such setup really well, I'm not complaing and all. With 195 50 gives wheelspeed like 3.7 so there is no point to look anything else in my opinion..
There is something I want to ask. While my vehicle is in 5th gear at 180km and 5,000rpm, I am faced with a situation like breathing. So it's slowing down and accelerating. It's like pulling your gas from the gas and pressing it again. But I'm having this problem without moving my feet at all. and I only experience this at high speeds (Above 180). hey guys some help pls, i have E46 m43b19tu, 87 kw and iam planning to turbo it, after i rebuild the engine,you think stock engine will hold? i dont look for crazy numbers, 200-250hp max
stock engine will not hold that power do not go over 140 150 max
if u want relaiable and safe power

318 will make more torque but both are great!

@@chechen_power1jz m43b18 is with chain, m40b18 is with belt. I take chain.
@@chechen_power1jz m43b16, m43b18, m42b18 and m44b19 all go really well with a little boost
@@djnazgra i always thought a belt was better for a car making boost. If a chain steches under high boost, itll be a pain to replace. I can imagine a belt is better for maintaining the motor? I could b wrong tho

Cheers! I’d say $1000 for the full turbo setup. Remembering we did all of the welding ourselves. This thing is still ripping today. Such an awesome car

@@adrianbaric4260 Oh man, you'll get 180kw out of that b19 easily with those mods. I'd choose the b19 ALL day long! The power is awesome and the noises are amazing. Can't beat it.

race that 318 with an e36 325\328 so we can see the result
1.6 ! :p it did 172bhp on the dyno..
cant remember torque but was healthy!
(1.8s will see about 200 ponies)
pretty much same as the m52b25.. but less weight ;)
id say the little 1.6 would be a good race with a 2.8?
again down to the lighter weight
would lack torque of the b28 though
