The dog stories warmed my heart. Back in 2019 I worked as a flight nurse in Kayenta, AZ on the Navajo Nation. We responded to a horrible car accident in Monument Valley. It was very sad. Bystanders were trying to catch a black Dog named Obi, who ran away. His owner was transported by ground, 40 miles away to a small IHS hospital. A week later Obi showed up at a junkyard by the hospital, where is owners car was located. That amazing pup traveled through the unforgiving Arizona desert for 40 miles to track his owners. Owner and dog were eventually reunited! It was a heartwarming ending to a terrible accident. Yall can google it!
the distance isn't so impressive imo; dogs cover crazy amount of ground but wow, that's some nose! I'm so glad they were reunited. I was afraid the owners died

Mr Brodie you’re a legend. I absolutely love the history and the detail you include. Your voice is perfect as a narrator. I love it when you break into laughter. Please don’t ever stop making these videos.
I watched this when it first came out. Just stopped back by to watch you to get it and tell you I really appreciate you. My life is not particularly stressful, but my mental state tries to convince me that it is and so I find your voice in demeanor and especially your sense of humor truly calming and perhaps sometimes even life-saving. Thank you!
I think Paul explained the chuckle as a nervous laugh about something so horrible, I think in my case it was more like a dark side of a Monty python skit😅😅

I know! And I don’t understand why some people think it’s a compliment to tell him that his hard work puts them to sleep! I find his videos really interesting.
It is not an insult to tell someone their work helps you to relax and go to sleep...it is basically like a bedtime story and his voice is soothing. All he cares about is that people ENJOY his work, no matter if they sit on the edges of their seats or use it for relaxing at bedtime.
Sometimes I tune out if I’m working on a project while listening because his voice is such a lovely background hum that isn’t overly distracting. But that just means I get to rewind several minutes back and re-listen to the part I tuned out on. I’m pretty sure that when I listen to some parts multiple times, it just increases his watch time by that little bit, lol.
