love that, we can have different opinions on this ? i put hair gel everywhere all over my hair, then why greys will come only in one spot? It’s called ageing and its natural process of life, and most people when they start greying it starts in the very same spot ☺️
Hi Lizzzz! Thank you for the dove 🕊️ review, I tried shampoo conditioner and gel today and I can’t tell you how I am feeling today 😍 my hair feel and look super light and soft. Thought he gel is lil bit light for my hair but in this humid it’s a blessing 💗when you don’t want to put so many products in your hair! A big thumbs up to conditioner 👍 super slippery.. I agree with your colleagues actually, most of these commercial products do and that’s why you will never see me use them or recommend those kind of products. We are more educated now, we have access to more information so we have to question “what makes hair products bad or even harmful?” - its the ingredients! According to the curly girl method there are a few ingredients we want to avoid for curly hair, a quick google search will reveal that to you - just remember, on my page, blog, social media, I will not be using products with harmful ingredients :) I love this verse from the bible says, “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” Mark 8:36. It comes to my mind with this context we are in. Anyway, these particular products in my hand and in my hair are safe to use because it is SLS free, no other harmful ingredients in my opinion- you have to fo your research and decide what is good for you :) For more about SLS (which is there is other Dove products and Pantene and Head and shoulders etc) read my blog? hey what is the moisturizer you are using? I used the conditioner and left it in to moisturise my dry hair. If i rinse my moisturizer out then hair will not “stay” moisturized
Does the curl defining gel act as a serum? Will it help me comb? I get a lot of knots. I need to know if it'll help me solve the problem of my knotted hair.
knots are from a lack of moisture. A hair gel is not there to help tangled hair, its function and purpose is to define your naturally curly hair. By styling? you are trying to trap moisture, therefore minimizing tangles that otherwise comes with overly dry hair. So a straight answer to your question is no.
I love your hair so much. Mine is a fine texture and a little on the thin side 3a-3c😢. I always struggle for volume and for it to stay fluffy through the day

@@nityasrivastava7094 it can buildup and not allow water or product to penetrate your hair and thats a big problem because it can cause severe dryness. It needs very strong shampoo to take it all out every wash and thats a problem too because strong shampoos can dry your hair out without proper aftercare. So i avoid it as much as possible

You can do it! You’ll just have to dial down on the moisture and use styling products with grit and hold ❤️
