Thanks for the entertaining and informative video! I have super fine and thin hair, and my wallet is even thinner than my hair! 😂 Would you say an expensive hairdryer like a Dyson is worth the investment for fine/thin haired people? Thanks!
how should someone with fine combo hair style their hair? I struggle with this. After having my kids, my straight hair turned wavy/curly with the exception of the very front section of my hair. I don't like to use heat on my hair unless its for an event. I have curling creams but it only lasts for a few hours before its straight again. i need help.
Hi! To answer some of these: 1) definitely check out my favorite hot tools video, there are great other hot tools besides dyson, and people are loving the new shark one but I have yet to try it! 2) I’m going to be making more fine hair specific videos, but the messy bun one has some cute tips for thin hair! Beach waves or 70s hair could also with the right product! 3) there are plenty of great brands out there that I also feature here like authentic beauty concepts but I of course am partial to the brand I’ve put my entire career into that stands by the values that matter to me as a hairdresser such as clean, efficacious ingredients, inclusion and environmentally mindful. Many sets on Jvnhair.com average out to $12 per product and we offer up to 25% off sometimes and currently 15% off if you take the hair quiz - so many of the products you can get for under $10. The best sellers set may be a great one to start with!

I don’t think anyone has ever said to me or in a video I’ve watched, “fine hair is beautiful and no different than anyone else.” Ummm , thank you! I always feel like i’m sorry to make people cut my fine hair. ❤ Love you
Right! 😭 I used to be insecure with my fine hair .. even had a bad experience in one hair salon, the hair stylist said my kind of hair was difficult. Hearing someone actually saying fine hair is also beautiful really makes me happy...
No forreal! I told the guy to not thin my fine strait hair because I asked for long layers and now it’s stringy 😭 been growing it out for a year and trying to maintain it. It’s still pretty stringy though.
1. Lose the concentrator: Concentrators make your hair sleek and flat, so take it off for more volume! 2. Velcro rollers: They are great for a volumizing day 2 refresh 3. Movement haircut: Some layers in fine hair can enhance movement. But not too many!!! 4. Protect from breakage: Use a hair mask to strenghen your hair and prevent it from breaking. Ex - Nurture deep moisture mask 5. Sleep with your hair up 6. Volumizing conditioner: apply a good conditioner all over your hair, from roots to tips. 7. Heat protectant 8. Embody foam 9. Scalp care 10. Detangler 11. Back combing: 12:22
I think there is an enormous difference between fine hair wavy/curly people and fine hair straight people when it comes to concerns and how to treat hair. As a pin-straight fine hair person, I found that blowdrying doesn't do anything for me. Whatever technique I use, it falls flat again immediately. But my hair gets a nice volume boost for about half a day if I let it air dry because the individual hairs are still a bit soaked and therefore bigger. It is also easier for me to bring long-lasting shape and body to my hair with non-heat overnight methods rather than heat tools. My routine is washing my hair in the evening, using either foam or salt spray and wrapping it around a headband once it is almost dry, then going to sleep with that. I wake up with nice loose waves. On night 2, I put my hair in a loose bun to maintain body and movement for day 2 and use dry shampoo in the morning for more volume on the crown. The biggest factor is honestly the length. I've had all hair lenghts and the shorter the hair, the easier it is to produce and maintain shape and volume. I switch between chin-length and armpit length, any longer and it gets really hard to style.
I have similar aggressively straight fine hair. Like, I swear! Unless I use a ton of product, and sometimes even then, you could hold my hair and gunpoint and still watch a heat-style slowly and sadly just release. When I had my hair long over night styling was key if I wanted curls or volume.
@@vanessamacneil5978 so nice to hear that someone else with fine straight hair has the same experience as me. I wonder why overnight methods work so much better for us. Also it is frustrating and kind of funny how little hairdressers know how to treat this hairtype even though it is not uncommon. I swear, everytime I go to the salon I arrive with nice wavy voluminous Hair but after the cut I can watch the hairdressers get increasingly frustrated because they insist on blow-drying my Hair with a round brush or using a curling iron on it and of course it doesn't work but they don't want to admit that 😂
The funniest salon experience was when a guy insisted it would create amazing movement in my hair If he blow-dried it from underneath with a diffusor and "Crunch it Up". I know this works great on people with natural curls but what the hell did he think it would do for me? I left with very frizzy straight hair and immediately washed and styled it at home because I looked so bad
@@ingupin I've been lucky in that I leave the salon with great hair, but it lasts a total of maybe an hour after I leave. And I don't ask for anything elaborate! My hair is just so fine, but there's so much of it that it's also really dense. And now I'm going through that really cool change in life where it apparently now also has two different textures. I keep it really short now because battling cowlicks is easier than trying to manage long, heavy hair.
@@ingupin yess! i always air dry my hair and it looks so much better than when i blow dry even though its always a tip to blow dry fine hair. Its so confusing sometimes... What i found works for me as well, even though i dont know how good this is for my hair, is washing it with only water on the 2nd day, sometimes even on the 3rd, i feel like it gets kind of more "grippy" and more voluminous than when i shampoo it (shampoo seems to make my hair lay incredibly flat on my head?)
I just blow dried my hair without the concentrator for the first time in 10 yrs and let me tell you, that is The Answer. The sheer amount of thin/fine hair vids I have watched and no one else has said this.. Praise be!!
My fine damaged hair has dramatically CHANGED since using JVN and listening to these tips. Saved my life. My hair has never been like this ever. I love you Jonathan, thank you for being you!
Aweeeee!!! It’s comments like these that are the reason I wanted to create this line. A line that wasn’t just efficacious with incredible clean ingredients that WORK, but also one that considered inclusivity for hair types AND concern of our planet. So glad your hair is now getting the love it deserves.
@@jvn You’re truly the sweetest 🫶🏼 We need more compassion in this world and that my friend you give so much of! Can’t wait to try you products, I know you’ve made them affordable and I really appreciate that as well ☺️
After I read all of these, I started using littleexttra reacctivate hair growth serum daily and rinsing it off with cocoonionn shampoo twice weekly. Using them both led to new hairs in 50 days flat.
Gosh I love JVN so much. He has such a kind, genuine, loving soul and spirit. And he’s so funny! I always feel happier after watching anything with him!!
I have baby baby fine hair and not much of it, especially as I age but having my crown area in layers, kind of like a long shag is a must! It makes a huge difference and how my hair comes out with so much volume
I'm a guy with shoulder-length long hair that has been thin all my life (my nana is the same but with short hair) and i'll try to incorperate these into my routine, thanks!
The instant recovery serum is a MUST! I have fine very very curly hair that’s prone to break and tangle if you look at it wrong, so I heat style it for convenience but have been leaving it to air dry and the PROTECTION and softness that the serum gives it its amazing! Really really love it ❤️❤️
YAS! It took me SUCH a long time to accept that my fine hair is just a part of me and my genetics and not because it’s ‘worse’ than anybody else’s. Treating myself to JVN hair milk & heat protector for Christmas hoping that it will be lighter than Olaplex etc, which even a little is far too heavy. Thank you for these tips 🥰
@@molly4539 olaplex gave me great hair and a horrible rash. I have very fine hair and it did make it healthier but I won't risk the scalp rash again. I guess it happens quite often, so be careful. I used Olaplex no 3.
Sadly, I've purchased too many JVN products that my fine hair doesn't like. I have waves, so I bought the air dry. It leaves my hair flat and greasy looking, barely using a nickel-sized for all my hair, which is almost to my bra strap. I bought the instant recovery serum, I believe it's called, what he had before had a spray in. It's too much. I bought the leave-in conditioner, too much, too greasy. The shampoos from the quiz weren't right, so I needed to purchase the volumizing set. If I use the scalp oil, it leaves my hair oily till I shampoo it again. The oil for the ends of the hair, I need to be super careful of because it can also be oily on my hair. I love the shampoo! I use Olapex No 3 once a week. Leaving it on for 45 minutes with a disposable shower cap. After that, I shampoo and condition with Embody and I don't have problems with it being heavy. There's no silicones in Olapex No 3. It has helped my hair immensely!
As a fine haired gal the best investment of late is the JVN heat protectant. I love it!! I dunno what magic is in it but it solves my hair pains - overall smoother but not heavy, less flyaways and the style seems to last longer - again without getting greasy AF.
Velcro seems to cause a lot of breakage in my hair. A lot more strands come out when I use a velcro curler versus a sponge curler as long as the sponge curler is curled rather loosely. When I tried to curl the hair rather tightly on the sponge cover, I would get a lot of breakage.
Oh my god! Thank you! I have spent years coming to terms with my fine thin hair in an Instagram world. I often feel FHF are over looked as many things just don't work well with our hair texture. I would love to see. A styling video because as of my 34 years I have still yet to master it.
I've been growing my hair out for two years with the plan to donate. I've never grown my hair out but as someone with fine hair, this has been really helpful. I plan to keep it long after I donate as I love the styles I can do with it
Wow, the little sad music at the beginning brought tears to my eyes! Thanks for this video JVN! I didn't know any of this and I've been just braising my fine hair for 30 years because that's all I knew to do.
My hair is fine wavy/curly. Volume is not a problem. Frizz and fly-away are. Best product to reduce maintenance is Wen Kids Apple Cleansing Conditioner. It allows me to spend less time in the shower by combining cleaning and conditioning. It allows me to use less product after I get out of the shower. It can be used over the whole body. Very convenient. Very expensive.
I have to say that I just love Johnathan and seeing him just makes me so happy. So when I saw this video about tips for my awful thin hair I was just grinning from ear to ear! Thank you Johnathan for the amazing tips and making me smile today! 💖
For the Velcro roller technique I put them in my hair before showering on days I don’t wash my hair. Then I blow dry it with the rollers in just to get rid of any moisture. I take the rollers out after makeup and breakfast. And tada!!
Thank you so much JVN. I have superfine hair that almost instantly falls flat…it’s got worse as I get older, 58 omg, and I’ve now discovered I can buy your products in the UK. Bring on the body and volume. Much love from Scotland🏴
I've had serious hair loss issues. I tested many serums. Both the in-demand ones as well as the ones that social media influencers recommend, but nothing seems to work. The big day is in four months so I worried a lot since the hair was not looking good. I have came through this hair growth serum by reactivate littleexrta & I’ve been applying it for the past month. I’ve seen positive results, My hair has been growing faster & Hairfall has reduced. Also, some white hairs have begun to turn black. I have apply it regularly. It’s a necessary recommend serum for everyone who is going through hair fall.
It means you are lack of protein. Have some gelatin jelly. I buy powdered jelly made from grass fed beef and mix 5 tablespoon with cordial and water and leave in fridge overnight. I noticed stronger hair and less dropping after taking gelatin jelly every day after a meal as dessert and its yummy too!!
Reactivate hair serum was amazing for me. My hair fall stopped after using for 10-15 times. It's truly the best. If you have low hairfall density, give it a try. It really works well.
Jonathan, you are the best!! I have bought several JVN products and have been using them along with these tips for about a month. I cannot believe how much healthier my hair is! It is so much stronger and so shiny...almost glowing. Love it and love you! Thanks for bringing so much joy to all of us!
@@pink22492 ask any dermatologist, you can NOT train your hair to be less greasy, and some people can literally lose hair if they don't wash daily, and that hair will never come back, stop dispensing medical advice when you clearly know absolutely nothing
I have fine, thinning hair (age and genetic related) and I always thought the concentrator was good for aiming at the roots when doing the first part of my blowout. If I take the concentrator off, won't my hair get frizzy? Thank you JVN for all your tips. You are the best!!
I have super fine hair, and I was blown away by how well your Instant Recovery Serum and Air Dry Cream did on my hair. They gave me such a great style that was beautifully textured and shiny and didn't weigh down my hair AT ALL. So, I just ordered the Embody shampoo and conditioner and the foam also (and I think the Blowout Styling Milke too). I'm so excited to try them! I know they are going to be so great for my hair.
Me too… super fine hair. I’m curious about the air dry cream. Is it light weight? I like using a product that helps encourage the waves I have while I let my hair air dry. Does the product leave your hair crispy once it’s dry?
@@sidesalad8769 It's light weight and it creates a cast on the hair, which is a good thing. You just need to scrunch the hair with your hands to remove the cast. It's a very light cast, so it comes off easily.
@@karleyj9706 The Embody shampoo and conditioner are also quite perfect for my hair. I have to use a 2nd shampoo for psoriasis, but the Embody conditioner is the only rinse out conditioner I can use. I can apply it all the way to the root, and my hair has the best volume of my life while still having its naturally shiny and silky texture. I do get a lot of frizz/flyaways if I don't apply styling products, because my hair is naturally wavy. But his styling products, as I have mentioned, are perfect for fine hair.
I have fine hair, but lots of it. So thick/fine? I LOVE the air dry cream! My hair is straight in certain sections and super wavy/curly in others. It’s so weird, but my SIL is a stylist and said this two texture hair is quite common. I typically hate my natural hair because of that, but I’m learning to embrace what I’ve got and give my hair a nice break from heat styling. Let me TELL YOU, my hair did not have a single little FUZZ of frizz and it was so pretty and soft and shiny when it dried. I feel fab af thanks to the unbelievable and gorgeousssss JVN! I asked for some kits by JVN for Christmas and funny enough so did my SIL so now we both gifted each other amazing hair for 2023❤ Ps the shine drops smell amazing, but if you only can afford one product, get the air dry cream! I don’t know what type of magical unicorn is in it, but my hair was so shiny before adding any hair oil. It’s a 10/10!
Just wanted some clarification, in the video you said coconut oil wasnt great but in the complete pre wash scalp oil there is coconut oil in the ingredients
My hair is fine, short and very thin. I’m 69 and can’t spend more than $20 tops on product. I’m in a small town that Carries mostly Suave-like products. I’ve given up. But you rock.
My daughter just purchased the trio for me, I am so excited! This video is so helpful! Especially for me at 50 and my hormones have really changed my hair! I will be adding this to my prenatal vitamin regimen!! ❤ Love you truly JVN
I have thin hair but the strands are not fine, I have alopecia and I recently got into extensions and I love your products , the scalp oil is a pre-shampoo must for me and my daughter. I also love the detangler for both of us, the blow out styling milk is PERFECTION!! I own almost every product you have blessed us with and I am gifting some for christmas. Thank you for doing this video :)
Thank you SO MUCH. I chopped all my thick hair off and it's growing back super fine - I grabbed a couple options and am super excited to see how it goes!!
So I am someone with long straight hair and suffer with split ends. I do like to keep my hair straight but also sleek. I don’t have too many layers in my hair, and I also use a flat iron (WITH CAUTION!!!). I do, however, use two shampoo washes, with one wash of conditioner, and then I use a miracle 10 on my hair from the upper parts of the roots to the ends. I let it dry from there without using a hair dryer…since I don’t have access to one. That’s when I use a heat protector spray whenever I use a flat iron. I do however keep the flat iron no hotter than 350 because I don’t want my hair to break more than it already has before. I do, however, wonder if there are certain things I’m missing or if I’m doing something wrong. Any advice or constructive criticism and feedback is much appreciated.
Yes!! This is exactly what I need. I have really fine thin hair that is slightly wavy. But not really. These tips are everything for me!!! Love you!!! 💜💜
Love you! I bought several of your products and love them. I am a fine haired girl and you gave me some tips I wasn’t aware of like using two different conditioners!!
I have somewhat fine wavy/curly hair that tangles easily. I live in Florida so humidity and sweat are almost always an issue. At 46 I still have so little clue about how to have the best possible hair for me. Thanks for the tips
Ohio, but same. Shops cannot wait to chop your hair into that same blunt bob. Cool, so you can lose a foot of hair you'll never be able to grow out again. Then you're going to blowout and flatten the already wavy/curly hair, and curl it AGAIN. Using JVN for about 6 months, still learning lol. We need new solutions people!
I’m what order so you use these products? How many should I use? I have shoulder length fine hair that breaks easily. I use both hair dryer and iron (at times).
Legit so grateful you offer samples!!! ❤ I hate buying full size products and then they dont work for me, so that is super appreciated thank you so so SO MUCH! ❤
My hair is fine, medium density and type 2C-3A. I never apply heat. Also I pretty much never apply any after shower products to it coz it tends to get weighed down easily. I feel my hair looks best when it’s air dried with zero products in it. And I NEVER detangle when my hair is dry coz that’s breakage city for me. The tangle teezer wet detangler works best for me when I brush through my hair in the shower. Also JVN thank you so much for busting the no-conditioner-near-your-roots myth. Great informative video as always.💕✨
Oh my goodness....Jonathan. This is my first time ever seeing one of your videos, on here. I have baby fine hair. Have watched several other RUclips, videos on it. No results 😔. You shown things others hasn't. I'm going to try your suggestions today. I think you are awesome!! I loved watching y'all's show. Wish it was still on. Thanks and may you have a Blessed day.
Love your videos, they're so fun to watch and very useful. This will probably get lost in all of the comments and you won't see it but here's a question about protecting the hair before swimming in the pool. My daughter (8yo) swims 3 times a week in a swimming club and they ( the kids) don't wet their hair before going into the pool. Could we possibly just spray a little water and put on a conditioner at home before she leaves?
I've been having haircuts with no layers because that's what others always recommend but I've been noticing that my ends do get wispier and my hair looks kind of dead tbh and you're the first to suggest to create some movement for fine hair. I definitely want to try something out and see if it helps. Thanks for the tips Jonathan!
if I skip the concentrator how do I reduce frizz? I have straight fine hair and use a blow-dry concentrator and a round brush so I can add volume without using the shine, the one thing my hair does well is shine and be smooth and soft, and it's hard to blow-dry without a concentrator without losing that. I don't want full dull hair and shine products weigh my hair down :(. I'd love to see a blow dry tutorial for straight fine hair from JVN because this tip has confused me.
Can you do a video on how to take care of and or style hair that has different textures. I have always had straight hair and after the birth of my second son the back of my hair is curly. The nape of my neck and front hairline is still straight!! I am completely lost on what to do with it. No one talks about or has tips on what to do with it. Please, please, please help!!
Thank you for your tips!!! I went to a new stylist a few weeks ago and the first thing she said to me was, "Wow, your hair is so fine." She actually told me to not use conditioner, which I am not following because I live in Colorado and my hair desperately needs MOISTURE! Anyway, just ordered the best selling stylers set from your JVN line and am so excited to try it out when it arrives. Love the channel!
I recently read/saw that fine haired people could use crimping irons to add volume to hair, underneath, is that helpful if so what irons are good. I have fine, layered hair but NOT thin
WOW, thank you! I am 62 years old and have fine hair. Your tips are great and I am going to get rid of my concentrator. Will try some products also. Thanks again and Happy New Year! 🎊🎈🎆

Do you recommend all hair types wear their hair up while sleeping? And what is the best way/thing to use to put hair up in for night time? Thanks! Love your videos & products!
I absolutely dread every time i wash my hair because its so fine and thin i lose so much every time. I wear it up alot because its to thin to wear down, its long but very fine so i bunch it up in a bun to make it look thicker! I will trt these tips snd come back and let you know, but im from the uk so i dont know if i can get these products. ❤
Yes, detangler. I'm a Wen girl and have been for 14 years. Chaz now makes a botanical. It made my hair VERY strong. I have NO frizz anymore. Your hair is nice. In fact, you look like our family. Maybe that's why I got a bit "hinky." Anyway, back combing rips away the hair "tiles." It does make nice volume at the crown area. What I was looking for was how to blow out in the crown area. I always end up leaving that part a bit damp and it lacks lift, not volume. If you could make a video about that I'd appreciate that. I gave you a thumbs up because you're very nice. Okay, back to work...I see by the hash tags that you made more than one video. I'll check those out when I'm not working my head off....LOL...
JVN is my Jesus🙏. Look at how beautiful and smart they are. Thx babes for the hair tips. My hair is thinning and fine😭. Saving this video to my favsss❣️
Extremely helpful & 🩷 you! But how exactly should we sleep with our hair up? I don’t use scrunchies or bands, because they cause breakage. I usually only put my hair up with a jaw clip, but I can’t sleep with one in. I tried a sleep bonnet & satin head scarf but can’t sleep with ‘em in, it’s too hot. A pineapple cap also looks too hot. I was tossing and turning all night worried about it and I don’t know what to do, please help!
What if you want your fine hair to be smooth? If I use volumizing shampoos they make my hair frizzy since I live in a warm humid climate. When I was younger my hair was really straight than I lost a lot of hair due to health issues & now it's growing back wavier & I don't like it. I want my smooth hair back. BTW I'm in my mid 50's, so that maybe why it's coming back a different texture.
Thank you for this video, Jonathan. Getting rid of my concentrator. Adding some other products as well. For wearing hair up while sleeping, what do you recommend to avoid the breakage that comes with using standard elastics? A scrunchie, maybe? I'm not a teenager, so haven't used a scrunchie in quite some time. ;) Thank you!
My hair used to be so thick. Tablets & a weakened immune system have helped my hair become thin & bitty. I also suffer seborrheic dermatitis which is no fun. I hate my hair so mostly have it up out of the way. I have an undercut at the back which was shaped into a spider web & i did 2 side ponytails or plaited them. I colour my hair with semi permanent vegan hair colour, reds, purple, black. I am a Goth, afterall. Please tell me, should i just shave my hair off & start again? I have grey hair under the colour. 🖤
Thank you for this, I’ve gone for 25 year of my life, never having a hairdresser that knows how to work with fine hair. Never having anyone around me that has it either. It’s always been a major struggle with breakage, matting, flatness. Thank you!!
I have baby fine hair. I’m not sure, my guess it’s probably medium weight in terms of amount of hair. It tangles really bad, I can’t seem to avoid. A lot of times I just put up in a ponytail because sometimes I just can’t get the tangles out.

The first bit about how fine hair isn't bad or wrong or broken made me cry. Thanks for the lovely tips.
Same!
I wish someone told my mother this as a child and she didn’t grow up hating her hair!!!!
Both Redensyl and rosemary in reaactivate hair serum were amazing for me. My hairs have grown thicker and fuller now.
Silk bonnets/silk pillow cases are a lifesaver for fine hair.
Confession: when I'm feeling sad, I hop over here and rewatch some JVN because he always makes me smile.
me too!!!❤
Good idea! I just discovered him!
I’m having a bad day and he def got a smile out of me
As a fine-haired friend, thank you for these tips! I recently bought several of your hair products and I am loving them!! ❤️
🥰🥰🥰🫶
what products did you buy? I have fine hair as well
I'm a guy with shoulder-length long hair that has been thin all my life (my nana is the same but with short hair) and i'll try to incorperate these into my routine, thanks!
The instant recovery serum is a MUST! I have fine very very curly hair that’s prone to break and tangle if you look at it wrong, so I heat style it for convenience but have been leaving it to air dry and the PROTECTION and softness that the serum gives it its amazing! Really really love it ❤️❤️
Ooh I’m gonna try that
Ooh I didn’t realize Olaplex may be too heavy for my hair until this comment. So thanks 💋
@@luv2garden132 try Jessicurl, great for wavy hair and not heavy for fine hair. Glad the Olaplex works for you.
@@dw7939 I'll look into it, thank you!
As a fine haired gal the best investment of late is the JVN heat protectant. I love it!! I dunno what magic is in it but it solves my hair pains - overall smoother but not heavy, less flyaways and the style seems to last longer - again without getting greasy AF.
Blow it big is the BEST advice for us fine haired friends! I am so grateful to JVN Hair for helping transform my hair. ❤🧡💛💚💙💜
Velcro seems to cause a lot of breakage in my hair. A lot more strands come out when I use a velcro curler versus a sponge curler as long as the sponge curler is curled rather loosely. When I tried to curl the hair rather tightly on the sponge cover, I would get a lot of breakage.
Why am I just finding that Jonathan has a RUclips channel, packed with hair wisdom?!? ❤❤❤❤🎉
Me too 😂😂🐨🐨🦘
Oh my god!
You are so positive, I just love your attitude. You cheer me up. I also learned to love my very fine hair..
And tada!!
I just adore you, Jonathan, am grateful for your vast knowledge and I wish the very best for you and your husband!
Thank you so much JVN. I have superfine hair that almost instantly falls flat…it’s got worse as I get older, 58 omg, and I’ve now discovered I can buy your products in the UK. Bring on the body and volume. Much love from Scotland🏴
Class just started and I’m here for it ALWAYS TO LEARN FROM THE BEST
I hope you brought your notebook! 🗒️
I've also been using the Reactivate Hair growth serum for a couple of weeks, and I already can notice fresh growth along my hairline.
I never thought my hair could increase this rapidly again. 10/10 hair serum of reactivate
At last something is working! After applying the reactivate hair growth serum regularly for two months, I've noticed an increase in growth of hairs.
Reactivate hair serum was amazing for me. My hair fall stopped after using for 10-15 times. It's truly the best. If you have low hairfall density, give it a try. It really works well.
"See the difference between this side and this side? ".....🧐...🤔....😂
Jonathan, you are the best!! I have bought several JVN products and have been using them along with these tips for about a month. I cannot believe how much healthier my hair is! It is so much stronger and so shiny...almost glowing. Love it and love you! Thanks for bringing so much joy to all of us!
There is no day two for me, my hair is beyond greasy after day one
Was literally scouring the comments for this. SAAAAAAAAME
You can train that (4days goes for me)
Braid(s) after day one.
Nobody around me understands THIIISSSS!!! 😭😭
Give us an update!
I asked for some kits by JVN for Christmas and funny enough so did my SIL so now we both gifted each other amazing hair for 2023❤
Ps the shine drops smell amazing, but if you only can afford one product, get the air dry cream! I don’t know what type of magical unicorn is in it, but my hair was so shiny before adding any hair oil. It’s a 10/10!
Just wanted some clarification, in the video you said coconut oil wasnt great but in the complete pre wash scalp oil there is coconut oil in the ingredients
OMG THANK YOU. I’m always aggravated with my fine sorta-wavy hair that quits growing way before my neck ends. 😢
Welcome!!

I literally LOVE Jonathan's whole entire genuine vibe.
Thank you so much for this video. I have super long, fine hair. Will sleep with it up from now on and use rollers. You're amazing!!
OMG you're my favorite person!! You're a ray of happiness that makes me want to feel good about myself!!! 💞💞💞
Aweeeeeee it makes me so so happy to read comments like this ❤️
50-100 strands of hair falls daily so it's nothing to worry about.
THANK YOU SO MUCH. As someone with fine hair it has been so hard to find products that give me body and don’t dry my hair out.
Just bought the JVN heat protectorant for my daughter. She’s a big fan of yours so I know she’ll be enthusiastic to try it.
Thank you SO MUCH. I chopped all my thick hair off and it's growing back super fine - I grabbed a couple options and am super excited to see how it goes!!
Ou ive never even thought about teasing the ends of my hair! The ends can just really end up looking thin and scraggly so that’s a great idea :)
Jonathan, I have thick hair but I don’t even care. I could watch you all day. Your videos just make me laugh! You’re the best!❤❤
The JVN styling cream is the ONLY thing that holds my style for a few days - thank you seriously for these amazing products ❤❤
Yes!! This is exactly what I need. I have really fine thin hair that is slightly wavy. But not really. These tips are everything for me!!! Love you!!! 💜💜
So glad!!! JVN School is getting rave reviews!
Thank you for the kind words for the fine-haired people. I have always always had a hard time with my hair. These tips will help. Thanks.
Absolutely love you JVN, so excited to try all of this!! THANK YOU
I’m what order so you use these products? How many should I use? I have shoulder length fine hair that breaks easily. I use both hair dryer and iron (at times).
What should I hold my hair up with at night (regular hair tie, scrunchie, etc) and what kind of style? Bun or ponytail?
I use a Voloom for more volume and it really works wonders on my fine, flat hair.
I have fine stands and medium/high density 2c/3a hair
Yes!! You can definitely do that so the hair absorbs less of the chemicals in the pool. :)
@@jvn thank you 🙂👍
Redken’s heat protectants work like a charm for me.. love them sooo much
I've been having haircuts with no layers because that's what others always recommend but I've been noticing that my ends do get wispier and my hair looks kind of dead tbh and you're the first to suggest to create some movement for fine hair. I definitely want to try something out and see if it helps. Thanks for the tips Jonathan!
Ever since I started using JVN I have never looked back! in love with every single product
if I skip the concentrator how do I reduce frizz? I have straight fine hair and use a blow-dry concentrator and a round brush so I can add volume without using the shine, the one thing my hair does well is shine and be smooth and soft, and it's hard to blow-dry without a concentrator without losing that. I don't want full dull hair and shine products weigh my hair down :(. I'd love to see a blow dry tutorial for straight fine hair from JVN because this tip has confused me.
I need to know this too!
Love this for me!! Great explanations for the different products & techniques.
You are always so upbeat and positive ❤
Does back combing increase breakage?? I thought it did. If not, I’ll start doing it!

I use NOTHING but JVN hair, and my hair/scalp has never felt better. ❤ I will never use anything else, and to make it even better, the products themselves make my hair smell so good !! I pray JVN never stops making products because I’m hooked and I got my mom hooked on em too ! Lol 😂
Okay you're definitely being humble and playing-down the JVN hair serum because, dude. It has changed everything. EVERYTHING for me.

love being early to another one of JVNs videos. just restocked my JVN shampoo and conditioner yesterday
Your hair is thanking you ❤️
Yes, detangler.
Yessssss your hairs will thank JVN School!
Silk scrunchie and/or bonnet!
You had this thin hair girls soul when you played James Blunts "You’re Beautiful" in the background as you spoke 🥰
Thank you so much! I was one of those requesting a fine hair video. Love your input and suggestions!
As a fine hair friend, I needed this.
Now treat those hairs with the love, kindness and health they deserve!
I have long fine hair and these tips really opened my eyes to try new ways to work with my routine!♡
Hi Jonathan! Could you tell us the difference between Embody foam and a regular mousse? Xx
