This is the second part of my initial video, where I will provide more comprehensive information about real estate taxes, property management, employee payments, and important considerations before and after purchasing a property in the Dominican Republic.

.. when you by a property in Dominican republic .. you need to pay transfer taxes .. that is the tax that is incurred when transferring the property into your name .. same as the US.. .In DR is 3% the purchase price.. then the other tax on the property is property tax .. yearly. . This is only paid in the DR, if the property or properties that you own have a value higher than 8,830,000 pesos .. or .. over 150,000$ US dollar .. .then you pay 1% of the value.. . just a little bit of info if anyone is wondering. . therefore if you property is valued less than 8,000,000 pesos .. you dont pay any property taxes at all.

Remitly is that wave. I use the same thing for my businesses down there. Got a small hair salon and boutique in Santo Domingo.

I appreciate you for watching, brother. I used a company named Blumbox, but remember, I could only send certain things because import charges are crazy. Anytime you order something over US$200, you have to pay import taxes. When I purchase something, I try to make sure it's under $200.

No, I am retired and am not interested in any more investments. Property investment in Thailand is not really profitable unless you have a long-term perspective, and the real estate laws are different for foreigners, who cannot own land.
