Loved this video. My husband and I are retired and stay at Airbnbs whenever we snow bird. What has been disappointing is how much the advertised rates differ from the actual rate you will pay. Also, we rent for 2-3 months at a time n we can’t rent a car for that long and it’s difficult when walk ability is not mentioned. Malls, grocery stores, ATM’s are all going to determine where I’d stay, and it’s so time consuming trying to figure this out. Some are advertised as being in a certain neighborhood, then when you look closely, it may actually be 20 min. Walk from that neighborhood,ughhh!

The most important things to consider when buying an apartment to Airbnb is the monthly maintenance fee , the high electricity bill, and the fierce competition that is only growing. Also it’s only a matter of time until they start taxing Airbnb.
Location, location is one of the most important factors in determining whether you are going to go with Airbnb, rental or resorts. I agree with you about the difference in all of these bc it depends on what your budget , accommodation and the attractions in and around and how far you will have to travel. Also, yes, people personalities are totally different, some you will never be able to please no matter where they decide to stay.
I went to Bani for a day trip and stayed in an Airbnb in Santo Domingo. You're right there's not many tourists that know about the desert, salt mines, and other sites there. How is the Airbnb market in Jarabacoa?
How much is to much to pay for subleasing an apartment? What price for rent should you not go over in DR that would make it difficult to make a profit? I think this is the most important question to get an understanding of how not to make a mistake in subleasing.
Is there a way to verify that a construction is indeed going on for a condominium property in URBE Cana? We were told that it is along Cv de Veron - Bavaro. Any direction is very much appreciated.
You would have to check personally or contact the builder. But it's not something you can verify online. To really verify I recommend paying someone to visit the site itself.

Although you did not give the exact expenses for each property, I am guessing you might have around $200US per month profit during high season and maybe take a loss of that or more during low season. Even if you had a consistent $200 per month, I am not sure if the headaches of dealing with all the different personalities and problems is worth your time and effort. Whoever does AIRB&B definitely have to have the time, money and effort to be successful. P.S. I absolutely LOVE your editing the transitions work very well!

I used to ABNB my apartment, but the competition of low rental rates as low as 20 dollars didn't make it worth it for me.

Yes a rating of 5 is what every Airbnb owners should strive for. Who wants to stay at an Airbnb that is 2, 3 stars.

Airbnb was good if you first got in from the ground but now people are trying to rent in other countries more than what rent is in usa.
