Just imagine showing up to school everyday with these lunches that look fancy- instead of the greasy pizza-
you just have to wake up a few more hours earlier to get prepared for school then have time to pack your lunch. I recommend making the lunch before you go to sleep then put it in the fridge

I've seen those noodle makers everywhere! Walmart, Target, Amazon, Marshalls, Ross. . .you name it! My local Kroger has them too!

I love her videos in general, but this one was just not for me. The ingredients are not ones that I would use. I admire her tenacity and effort to grow her own herbs and make some of her own sauces, I just don't have the time!

I study after work. So I decided to meal prep and have breakfast and lunch at work. I bought a couple of bento boxes. I get home and I have nothing to but a little nap and study as many hours as I can, until night to prep them for next day. A real time and "focus" saver. Thank you for the recipes. I already was a little tired of mine and rice.

Last week I shared one of your videos with him, and he cooked the boiled eggs, and prepared carrots and celery sticks for snacks. Today, we cooked together the sweet potatoes slices on oven and broiled eggs, and baked chicken.
These has been an opportunity to do something together with my son, while we both learning to eat healthier.

Hi! I need to say all these compartments are really amazing. I got into this idea just before I signed up for Teachers Programme. I went back to school to train in a rigorous program the past few years and I started to pack a lot more food like this. Well the spinach and all those greens really were spot on because of all the time spent sitting with a computer puts the eyes through a lot and all that lutein and amazing nutrition really helped me work and stay productive!

What I like the most in the video is making food together. Bento box means pure love that mom has for her child, so that love reflects on her childs nutritious meal, while the child enjoys even the feeling of waiting to open the bento at school. Making meals together reflects love and care, so I am sure that all of these recipes taste great. Big like and thanks for sharing and providing new ideas.

Watermelon, melons, and grapes go really well with that combo too! Recipe: Watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew, grapes, fresh mint leaves, crumbled feta, olive oil, lemon juice, and a bit of salt!
Bento boxes are actually my Ideal meal prep because I’m always on the go. When I’m going to work, I prefer to have something but room temp or cold and ready to eat like a veggie wrap or hard boiled egg with salmon and avocado. I like how the egg with celery looks

Downshiftology yes!!! And we are quite fond of monbento too. We have several sets in pink, blue, gray( square) and green!
These quickly became my favorite. Had it for almost a year.
I use the small bento set for work. 1 box for breakdast, a bread with butter/a cheese and berries.
2nd box for lunch. I pack usually salad in tight, use the slider for meat and pour it out in a larger bowl I keep at my desk.
Thankfully the laptop backpack i have has an insulated compartment for food. A small icepack works perfectly.
I’m not a fan of some of the food in this but I still want to try these because the way she has done this makes me want to try it. It actually looks delicious

70 g (about 3 cups) fresh basil leaves
40 g grated pecorino or parmesan cheese
40 ml extra virgin olive oil
pinch salt
3 cloves garlic
squeeze lemon juice optional

Nobody ever shows the bento boxes at lunchtime after they've been tossed around in yout kid's backpack all morning. I worry that the plantain chips will be soggy and full of tuna-mayo juice. I'd really like to see an open your bento box lunch video.
Then don't put them together until your child understands how to carry a lunchbox?
You can always choose options where it doesn’t matter if they get tossed around.
Then raise your child to be less chaotic?

Look up the history of bentos and bento culture. There is a bbc report that literally goes over how making beautiful bentos is a part of how you are viewed as a parent. Moms will literally take classes so they can make beautiful bentos. Mari's Kawaii World also did a video on bento and the competitive bento culture in Japan. There is also the culture of Japanese children being extremely independent. They do not throw around their lunchboxes unless they want to get in trouble.

Great recipe ideas! I'm obsessed with all things box-like, especially if there are compartments. Good for portion control and visual creativity. BTW, I love to add furikake rice seasoning to my tuna salad.
