I have the blue on the bracelet (like in the video) for almost two years now. It has endured some good use like swimming in both salt and fresh water, squash games, oil and grease from building a motorcycle and a lot of desk diving. While the bracelet is a bit scratched, the face is still very clean because of the sapphire glass and ceramic bezel. So it still looks very much good for the office. And it still runs within 5 seconds a day fast. I'm still very happy with the purchase.
Just ordered it as my first « luxury » watch. I’ve been slowly working my way up to it by buying and selling secondhand watches for a few months now and it has allowed me to get that one brand new. I chose the grey dial on SS bracelet ! Nice video
My two favorites watch brands are Tudor and Longines. In this case I choose the black dial with rubber strap and i would like more with aluminum bezel on it. Thanks for another great video.
Excellent review. I have just bought the black face, rubber strap with bezel and winder trimmed in gold. Amazing watch which is so comfortable and incredibly accurate. Longines is so underrated and I think it is better than my Rolex and Tudor
I've had it in blue for 3 years, take it on vacation several times, swimming pools, sea, jet-ski: it doesn't move, very solid, impeccable. Perfect vacation watch.
I have the black with the bracelet and the rubber strap. This watch is very well made and could easily be my only watch as I had the older model in 39mm for a couple of years which I sold to get the newer model. The accuracy is excellent considering the watch is not COSC Certified.
I have the Hydroconquest in sun ray grey on the rubber strap. I also have the heritage legend diver in blue and bought an after market rubber strap for it though I like the synthetic nylon strap that came with it. Of the two I find myself wearing the legend diver more as I wear a lot of blue but I really love both watches. Good video. Thanks
Would love to see the Green Hydroconquest compared to those colors. Is it just me or is the green dial just a flat matte green that doesn't reflect light the same way the blue dial does??
Really enjoying the evolution of this channel Harrison - great episode 👌👏. Like the last comment, both Longines and Tudor are big faves of mine. I would probably go rubber, mainly because I prefer an all satin, tapering bracelet. And, it’s black dial (or green 😉) for me 👍👍
Just picked up the blue/steel version. Nice watch so far but does wear large. Looks bigger on my wrist than some of my 42mm watches. It’s a combo of the long lug to lug over 51mm and how flat it lays… makes it look wide.
Hi. I have a small wrist but i love to wear the 43mm. I am interested on the black with rubber trap. So how far or small the rubber trap can go in order to fit the small wrist? How to adjust rubber trap on this watch? Can you have another video how to adjust the rubber trap please? Thanks
Maybe you could give an idea of the regular service intervals and rough idea of costs for services ...in Australia the five year service costs between $700-1000 aud for the hydroconquest ..so 30% of original RRP
Wish they make 41mm version with max 47-48 lug to lug than this enormous 50-51 lug to lug. Thats the most important how the watch will wear it will be good if you mention lug to lug distance when u make review.
Am actually looking at the older 39mm Longines Hydroconquest as it has the perfect size for my wrist. I also liked the dial design of the older model. The only reason I am hesitating is that the older model has an aluminum bezel.
@@iwnl_vale yes, it looks bigger because it has a long lug to lug. My 41mm Aquaracer and 42mm seamster wears the same as this 39mm Longines when I tried it on the AD. The AD unfortunately only had quartz pieces remaining and I wanted the automatic version.
I had a Rolex GMT 116713 in steel and Gold. Lovely watch but boy did it mark easily. Got to the point where even careful wear ended up with scratches on the 18k. I sold it as it was only bought to tick a box. I'm considering a two tone Hydroconquest as I feel they offer outstanding value without the risk of damage/theft etc.
If one is using a winder box to wind this particular model, which direction should be used in settings (bi-directional, clockwise or counter clockwise)? And also, what is a minimum amount or turns pre day required for this model?
The green one with rubber band is for me... if I will buy metal bracelet, I will take the rose gold and grey since it looks the best plus the center of the link is not shiny finger print magnet like the all stainless bracelet.
FYI The yellow gold variant is nice except for the crown. It is a matte dull gold finish very different and does not match with the other gold accents. It's more visible in person than in video. I thought I was going to get use to it but I hate it.
Who is going to dive with a watch costing some €1700 exposing it to salt water ? I'm not. This is a fancy cool dress watch. You buy it because you like it.
you say thats a good price for 72hrs power the seiko alpinist has 72 at least and is only £600 with 200m water resist, having said that i do like these
I have the green automatic on bracelet. However, the bracelet is a bit 'meh'. Now I have it on a NATO and it is better than ever! Class watch for a good price.
Cracks me up he keeps referring to the TWO TONE model as being "bi-metal" or steel and gold...if that's the case, this must be the only watch in history where the stainless steel and bi-metal steel and gold versions are the SAME PRICE 🤣🤣🤣🤣
It’s a lovely watch but AR coating on both sides of the crystal is bad. AR coating on the outside of the crystal will eventually scratch. This will probably occur within the first few months if worn regularly. This happens with Omega and many other brands. Some German watch companies have a better AR coating but they also scratch eventually. Inside AR coating is all that’s needed if done the right way. I guess this is one more watch I won’t be considering.
If it scratches then you can remove the outer layer of AR, there are companies that do so. I have omega smp with both side AR since 2018 and there are no scratches on AR yet - it is not so bad

It's a great watch indeed and Longines is an underrated brand.
Great choice, do you ever switch over to the rubber? I'm a big fan of them on the rubber!
Black on black is the best looking Longines Hydroconquest, if you ask me...

I have blue dial with gold combination and it looks so brilliant. So many people have given me such a nice compliments for it
Fantastic video. Complete clarity both verbally and visually 👏
The blue dial is beautiful and yes its great for everyday use 👏😊
Definitely an everyday wearer!
We bought the blue one and love it! Great content, keep it coming.
I just ordered the yellow gold with blue sunray dial, cant wait to put it on !
I've had it in blue for 3 years, take it on vacation several times, swimming pools, sea, jet-ski: it doesn't move, very solid, impeccable. Perfect vacation watch.
I just got the yellow gold with the blue dial. It's absolutely beautiful! Thank you for the review.
Is it pvd coating or actual gold ?
@@muhammadabdullahzahid6569 Just PVD gold tone. Not real gold. But I still love it! I'm wearing it today actually.
@@muhammadabdullahzahid6569think it is PVT coated but a good quality one I heard.

5:40 What was the case size on the blue dial with yellow gold bracelet, 41 or 43mm?
I have the Hydroconquest in sun ray grey on the rubber strap. The green is just a solid one without sunburst effect.

Thanks Luke, can't beat a rubber strap!
In person these look so good. Love almost every colour scheme and the dial is fantastic
Great review 👏
I own the stainless with blue dial . Beautiful watch
Great watch, the two tone for me.

Yes bezel feedback is the reason we all love our divers!!!

very very agreed to thissss. I want the 43mm diameter, but the lug-to-lug is enormous. My 44mm diameter Seiko has only 50ish lug to lug.
True, 3 same watches and not mentioned the lug to lug...
Am actually looking at the older 39mm Longines Hydroconquest as it has the perfect size for my wrist. I also liked the dial design of the older model. The only reason I am hesitating is that the older model has an aluminum bezel.
I have that watch and I love it. The bezel can get scratched though, but still the size is just perfect, wears bigger than it seems.

They have new models in 39mm now.
Beautiful watch I like the black.
Great review. I'm on the fence between Longines and Mido for solid work watch.
I have 6.25 wrist would this fit well?
I'll be over in England soon from Australia. might have to drop past and see if you've got one of those black ones in stock...
The one I like is the green dial with same color rubberized bracelet
Great choice!

Yep, they’re lovely things. Well worth considering pre-owned as they’ll drop 40% in value pretty much instantly.
Great stuff. Keep going 👍🏼
Thank you! Will do!
had the blue 43 on steel. the clasp on the rubber is much better.
Hey Harrison, great review (as always…!) can you do a review on the Longines Spirit Zulu Time. The anthracite is an awesome looking watch!
Hey you guys have the triple crown edition longines????
Do you ship to the US?
I hadn’t thought about black appearing smaller, has really helped. How adjustable is the rubber strap please for small wrists. Thanks
The grey
How will the anti-reflective coating stand up against scratches when it’s been applied to the outside of the crystal? Will it scratch easily?
Longines web page says that AR is applied inside and out... Perhaps that'll help long term.
I'm thinking to buy the stainless steel version and buy the rubber strap aftermarket, what do you think?
Im doing the same for black dial

Is the Longines Conquest 34 mm watch for man?Great video and best regards!
Longines makes superb watches
The price went up on this! The black is now $1775
why the longines hydroconquest with a diameter of 41 is more expensive than the one with a diameter of 44?
Demand I guess
I have the 44 mm version, steel bezel, in blue. It has a splash of red on the seconds hand. Suits my thicker wrists and my picky taste.
What's your wrist size man? Great review! Cheers
Thank you! It's 6.5 Inches.
Size 39mm good
Bought the blue dial, SS bracelet, 39 mm case diameter about a week ago 😅😅
there is a new ceramic 39mm
Nice! Which watch you wearing on this video??
From what I can see it's the Tudor Black Bay model m79230r-0012
beach will is my green color one
How much cost original rubber strap for longiness?. Thanks
£185.00p
They are all £1850 now, big price jump from when this video was made. Ive just ordered the blue/rose gold on rubber strap
Long jeans?

just wished for a no date and a lovely giant 3

if a ceramic bezel drops, it can chip, if you can afford a new one, buy in ceramic.
I’d go with the bi-metal with black dial. Makes for a nice dress watch without all the superfluous pretentiousness.
Nice watch
Thanks for watching
I have the green automatic on bracelet. However, the bracelet is a bit 'meh'. Now I have it on a NATO and it is better than ever! Class watch for a good price.
Why no one likes Grey one?
Just bought the blue 39mm quartz -- yes, quartz. Why? Got it new for $700 and most important, it is almost 2mm thinner than the automatic.
I wish you compared them with the different variants… also you are wearing your watches incorrectly.
Lug to lug 50,8mm ;(

Their clasps are terrible for the price.
Which Longines is right for me?.............None of them.
Longines the worst watch ever!
Nemas ti pojma 😂
Please, more watches, less you.
I only go to NKUWAN to buy a mirror copy watch!
the bracelet (more the clasp) is the weakest attribute to this watch...a CW 300 trident build quality is just on another level at 2/3 of the price....
You don't pronounce the "s" at the end of Longines. 🙄 "Watch RUclipsr" my ass
