My first Swiss watch purchase was earlier this year, a Hydroconquest in 39mm. Absolutely in love and now I want more Longines like the spirit. I can’t believe the movement features and quality for the price point. Other brands at that price give you base Stelita or ETA that have like 40 hours of reserve. Longines is serious quality
I've always found the hydro conquest to look a little odd. I can't quite put my finger on why, but I think it's the massive and imposing numerals. The spirit watches are beautiful. You'd never guess the spirits and the hydros were from the same brand (removing the logo)
My first swiss watch at the end of 2022, a Zodiac Super Sea Wolf skin. I absolutely love the thing and the vintage style. Zodiac has a lot of history I think people forget about.
Fantastic video Harrison! I honestly believe that the 'Luxury watch' classification starts with Tissot as a brand. I would love to have a Hamilton Khaki field or a Longines, a brand which I was skeptical about in the past but now I love. 😍😍 Keep it up!!

I know that we kept this list limited to brands sold by Chisholm Hunter (totally fair), but I would have to suggest that any honest discussion about entry level luxury needs to include Christopher Ward. My $900 USD CW Sealander GMT gets more wrist time than my Tudor steel and gold GMT or my white gold Datejust. I just bought my wife a 36mm Tiffany blue Sealander, and I am about to pull the trigger on the bronze Aquitaine. And…I haven’t even mentioned the Bel Canto at $3,500 USD. Great video. Keep up the good work.
I purchased just few days ago Certina ds action diver 43mm in blue color and I think it is better than Tissot but the brand is less known among masses.
In my opinion the best entry level luxury diver is the Longines Legend Diver, I would probably get one in 36mm since the 42 is insanely large for me, and my second favorite would be the Black Bay 54.
Union Glashutte Belistar Date Sport Pro at 2850 euros is a great bargain judging by the specs and masterfully crafted simplistic design of the watch, I say it's definitely a Great entry level Dive watch with 300 meters of water resistance.
I have a Tissot Gentleman and Longines dress watch. Hamilton Khaki will be my next watch. Can't say I'm an advocate of climate change as defined in modern terms. However, I love the outdoors, both aqua and terra (reference my Omega). When outdoors I leave no footprint! On your best day, you couldn't track me. The land and water is about respect, not ideology.
I guess I only agree with the Longines and Oris as entry luxury. Don’t forget about Tag , Sinn, Ball, and many others in that 2-3k range. But is that price range really luxury?
Such a loaded question my man!!! Love your choice. How about some advice how to build a collection after one gets their “ first”. Idk but I've always seemed to stick to the 1-3k price range. Anything more expensive and I get afraid someone's going to either Rob me at gunpoint or something is gonna happen to the watch and it'll be lost or broken. Plus you can buy 3k watches that hold up to watches priced 2-3 times higher in many cases. Longines is a great example of that. Also discounted or pre owned Breitling or omegas are amazing watches that usually go around 3k.
I agree with you. I think the $2-3k price range is the sweet spot for a good watch you can wear everyday and not be to worried about what happens to it.
Great picks! I do own the Longines Hydroconquest as my first luxury watch and I'm very satisfied with it. My next target is either an Omega Seamaster or a Tudor Black Bay 58, but they're going up in price range, it's getting crazy.
