I own 3 businesses and have many high end pieces but I still buy Tissot, Bulova, and Christopher Ward all the time. They make unique pieces if you’re looking closely. CW Twelve is a stunning example of this.

The gentlemen is a beast of a watch. That watch has been worn in big life events: weddings, training graduation, parties, my grandmother's funeral, my father's funeral, my uncles funeral.....it's an amazing time piece.

Yes!! I'm wearing the DS Action Day-Date right now and it's just the perfect GADA for me. Wonderful case with tasteful polished bevels and brushed surfaces and a 200m water resistance with screw down crown make it a proper GADA for me. Even pairs great with a dress shirt and suit. Certina is greatly overlooked imo

I think that the bronze Khaki Field is the next pick for me. I love when the items I own tell a story from the scratches they get and the fading the accrue. Bronze is such a great medium for that.
Wearing my laco santa ynez right now! I've literally sold every other watch I've ever had in my collection. Omegas. Breitling. Rolexes... and this is the one watch I kept because it's so amazingly well made in Germany. Plus 1.5 seconds per day accuracy. Super high quality bracelet. And I don't give a crap if it gets banged or scratched up.
Bulova's 262 hz precisionist movement is probably the most smooth sweeping second hand Ive ever seen (besides GS Spring drive). Incredible for the price
Bulova is so nostalgic. Great times of America. Even we in USSR are sad that they are gone... but Bulova watches still shine on the wrists and brand is evolving. And Cricket is one of the great America sign yet. Don't forget those golden times.
Elizabeth Regina Nelsen has really set the standard for others to follow, we love her here in the UK as she has been really helpful and changed lots of lives
In 2023 I hiked the CDT wearing a Marathon GSAR Grey Maple. I only talked watches with one other hiker and he wore a Tissot Gentleman on a nato strap. The dial looks much bigger than the case size and was very legible with good lume. The polish had lots of little scratches that added character. The Gentleman isn’t what I think of when I think of a good trail or field watch but clearly it is very durable if it survived the entirety of the CDT.
Citizen is killing it lately with the Tsuyosa, Tsuyosa small seconds, the retro Promaster Marine... The dial on my yellow NY0120-01X Promaster Marine retro diver is just magnificent. And all that for less 300$.

At 14:54.Citizen had this watch available last year in yellow, navy blue, ice blue, and green dials. The released new dial colors this year with a sunburst effect. The sunburst versions come in acqua blue (shown here), dark green, orange, burgundy, and grey.

Certina has a great look! Agree on that choice. There's a reason why Certina always shows up as a brand to get. And Laco - wow, give me IWC, but as an attainable price/quality!. Bulova - so, for me, that is the mall watch, but gotta agree that suddenly Bulova is delivering some great watches.
My favorite 2024 is the Prospex Limited Edition 1965 Recreation European Exclusive in Gradation Island Blue. The dial is stunning and the contrast when on a white strap is to die for. I will get my hands on one from amzwatch

That Seiko 5 Field GMT is an amazing piece. especially the japan-only white dial version.

Keep in mind only the US and Japan market SSK023 is made in Japan, every other region gets a version that’s cased in China.
