I think Kevin was better from top to bottom but my 2 favorite watches were on teddy's side. I will say his seiko and grand seiko picks were my 2 least favorite of the bunch. All good selections overall though.
I love the finishing touch of Kevin purchasing a watch to show his support. He doesn’t need that watch let’s be honest, but that shows how he supports young entrepreneurs like Teddy who’s genuinely enthusiastic about watches. Respect!
If I could only wear 5 watches for the rest of my life I’d go with Kevin’s good diversity. Some classic looking ones, some modern basic, and a fun one. And a slick black one.
It was close but Kevin did it again. The Omega Speedy moonwatch with sapphire dial did it for me. Congratulations to Teddy with a beautiful boutique. All the best!
I think Teddy won the Breitling pick, Kevin won the Grand Seiko pick, Teddy won the GO pick, Kevin won the Omega pick, and Kevin won the bric-a-brac pick, imo
What great fun! I'm usually on Teddy's side. But this time I was very surprised that Kevin's selection was very classic and purist. Which I like very much. Congratulations for this great watch store. Good luck!
Teddy has options that a under $1,000 that you can schedule to request to see in person. I think Teddy makes his store seem more casual and open to the everyday person with the name.
I reluctantly need to go with Kevin’s collection. Broader representation of what is out there for all to enjoy. Love these competition vids. Keep them coming.
Been watching your videos for a while now and was inspired to start a collection. Started with the MAMACOO, its specs for price and clean looks, now am looking for a dress watch to add.
got my 39mm with the white dial on the 3-link "Bader" bracelet watch on MaMaCoo 3 weeks ago and am loving it to pieces. Absolute fantastic watch that wears super comfortable on my 6.75 inch wrist. Chose the 3-link over the 5-link bracelet for the toolless quick adjustment. Way more comfortable than my Longines Hydroconquest 41 mm.
Agreed he won, but Teddy put up a decent performance and I think he was 1/2pt off out of ten. Kevin really does have the dial eye, even when he’s toned down.
I would have picked differently almost every stop. Breitling - Pistachio B01 Grand Seiko - one of the textured dial spring drives GO - one of the Sixties watches Omega - one of the Seamasters Bric-a-brac - a Nodus GMT
No way! I've been expecting this exact video for a while now. Gonna grab some snacks and enjoy this episode. Teddy, huge congratulations once again on opening your own store. You've been a huge inspiration for me to get into watch collecting.
Picked up a MAMACOO's watch as my first watch last month and I’m absolutely in love with it. Perfect size, looks elegant, very comfortable. Now my only problem is holding off from buying more watches so quickly!
Props for picking that Seiko. Love watching you and Mr. Wonderful together, great chemistry. Always enjoy your videos Teddy. Cheers from Vancouver Canada.
I'm sorry Teddy but wow! Kevin was not wrong. He absolutely cleans up. I knew he was onto something from the first pick but wow all 5 of his together look stunning. I like Teddy's picks too, but Kevin's choices complement each other well.
When they walked up to the omega section I thought, I’d pick blue side of the moon if they have one, and boom teddy has 1 and picks it. Best watch of the whole bundle
I feel both had great picks and really solid diversity. Teddy's picks were spectacular, especially the Grand Seiko, but he lost me a bit on the 2 green dials... I think having a clean white one would have worked better in his favour. Kevin's picks were very classic looking this time around and had some very diverse picks. It was a hard one for me and normally I'd side with Teddy, but I have to give it to Kevin on this one. Congrats again Teddy on your store and I hope to one day get a chance to visit it!
@@jayallen8660 that’s exactly it! I know Keven had 2 black dials, but they are different enough. But colourful dials can overwhelm the collection look if they are too strong.
I only liked one watch in each collection. So it's a tie. But the tie breaker goes to Kevin. The all black watch was my favorite of the picks. Great buy Kevin.
9:52 Kevin: that looks 38 or 39 Teddy: it's actually 37 Kevin: right in the middle such a Kevin thing to say, it's wrong but he says it with confidence
Wow, I had the great pleasure in visiting Teddy’s Store in Cleveland. Love both of your selections However I have to give the nod to Mr Wonderful! The Bretling choice ( Corvette ) is one of my Favorites. It was very close , Very Entertaining, Thank you Teddy for keeping us Inspired to this wonderful Hobby !! Keep up the Great work, looking forward to Meeting you end of June !
I’m glad I discovered your channel. It’s so entertaining and it’s so fun to watch you both just having fun picking watches. My vote goes to Kevin’s selection. Love the clean and classic mix. I also learn a lot about watches from both of you especially Teddy’s knowledgeable.
Kevins layout was absolutely amazing, but for the first time I will give this one to the house, Teddy, you got this one!!! Although I would've reorganized Teddy's collection the following, Glashütte - Seiko - Grand Seiko - Breitling - Omega, just to give it a more cohesive look on colors and materials... Again Kevin's layout was perfect!!!
As a Teddy fan it pains me to say O'Leary takes this. Kevin has a good eye for minimalistic dials which I am partial to and find are sorely lacking amongst Teddy's selections. Things were looking so good too with that Superocean first pick but alas. Congratulations on the shop all the same. It's beautiful!
Teddy, very impressive knowledge snd story about the watches. I love to hear the history behind the making of the watch and the brand so when someone asks i can spit some watch game lol. Teddy Congratulations on your new boutique, all the best. I have to say Kevin's blue GS on the brown leather strap is gorgeous although not the most expensive. Also his red Chrono. I have to say those 2 beat the whole bunch.
I figured it was close for the entire duration. Then when Teddy picked the SSK, which don't get me wrong great watch. But after picking that, it was a loss for sure. Kevin wins!!
mamacoo You are so well-informed about luxury watches. You've obviously done your due diligence and the comparison to the US is very informative...because of course, I live in New York. thank you very much
I've recently began my obsession as a watch collector. And i must say- out of all the luxury brands I've been researching, for me the amzwatch's watches are the most intriguing.
Kevin killed it. Hands down the winner IMO. I would wear all of those watches, except maybe the Breitling (would like to see it with a different band). I don't care for any of Teddy's picks if I'm being honest.
Kevin was right about the variety. Each watch was a great choice. Watch for watch (pound for pound, his collection was better. I prefer the Omega and GS Teddy chose, but the Breitling and Seiko bring it down for me. That said, great display for your boutique Teddy! You have quite the selection.

I completely disagree. Teddy won this time.

Despite Kevin’s endless heckling, I think I gotta go with his collection. I appreciate the diversity and each piece is an eye catcher.
Kevin: “What is that, 38, 39 mm?“
Teddy: “It’s actually a 37.”
Kevin: “Ok, so right in the middle.” 😂😅

Got to give it to Kevin. He has much better taste.

Unfortunately Kevin won. I was trying to hate his choices and vote for Teddy…. 😢
True, but I would swap for Teddy's ceramic speedy and think Kevin's collection could use a dive watch.

Gotta agree. Don't know what Teddy was thinking grabbing both a Grand Seiko GMT and a Seiko 5 GMT!!
Absolutely.
Not an easy decision and Teddy did an excellent job this time but I feel like Kevin edged Teddy with a cleaner Grand Seiko.
I agree completely. I love both Omega choices but Kevin’s was the winner. That gave Kevin the win, 3-2.
Kevin’s Breitling choice was amazing too, edged it for me
That Junghans pull by Kevin was clutch, that watch is amazing. I've had for 5 years and I don't get bored of it!
Mr. Wonderful picking out the Junghan’s Max Bill was the knockout punch. That watch is gorgeous and affordable
