    Wow this is enlightening thank you!! Since starting to bike one knee has been clicking and very noisy and getting worse. I bike hard with explosive climbing sections and really using my quads. After watching this I know where I’ve gone wrong in my training. Thankfully no knee pain yet so hopefully focusing on my glutes and stretching will remedy this.

    Thank you so much for the recommendation not to rush into surgery without trying alternative methods. I was quickly rushed into a total knee replacement some years ago. Now my other knee is giving me problems but I know now to ask about what alternatives are available first.🙏

    Your you tube channel is very enlightening. Appreciate all the knowledge you freely give. Ive been dealing with my left knee pain for years. Which has stopped me from running. Walking usually makes my knee feel better, but this time the pain is sticking around. My doctor has given me a blood glucose injections on the side of the knee and under the knee cap. What's your opinion on these type of injections. Also had a x-ray of the knee and it showed a rough spot under the knee cap cartilage. I do believe that I do have a muscle imbalance and need to strengthen my glutes. Thanks again!

    Does your recommendation to not strengthen the quads also apply to the often perscribed 4-way leg extension exercise?

      @epmanualphysicaltherapy  24 дня назад

      Hi Mike, thanks so much for the kind words! We actually have a video that discusses walking backward that is for Knee Arthritis but it also applies to all knee issues. We want to note that this is general information and what works for one may not work for another. If you feel like walking backward would benefit you, you might want to give it a try but be cautious. I've been told I need a total knee replacement but what's really helped my arthritic knees is supplementing daily with ionic boron. It's been a game changer. I'm now back to cycling after taking two years off.
