I'm trying to regrow my cartilage now. Osteoarthritis of my hip. As soon as I found out it was arthritis, the next day, I switched my diet to the ketogenic diet. 3 week I was off pain killers. Keto kills inflammation in the body. Almost 100%! I did exercises to get the stability back. Just still don't have the mobility. I'll keep you posted on the cartilage regeneration journey
Both of my hips have been replaced due to osteoarthritis and I hate to be the barer of bad news, but your hips will only get worse no matter what you do. I been Keto for a long time, don't eat junk food or drink sodas (never have), I am not overweight, been active my entire life and exercised in the gym 5 days a week besides walking 3 to 5 miles every single day. I waited way to long to have my left hip replaced because I to thought that I could avoid surgery by taking all the right supplements and eating the right foods which was really dumb of me and boy did I ever pay the price for that! I developed cysts in my hip joint and my cartilage was gone, I was bone on bone with my hip joint looking like the rats had chewed on it, being in excruciating pain, pain I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy! I no longer could get out of the car without hanging on the car door for at least 5 minutes, unable to straighten my leg or putting any weight on it. I had to carry crutches and a walker in the car with me and I also couldn’t sit in a normal position in the car seat, I no longer could sit at the dinner table to eat because I couldn't stand up from a sitting position afterwards and had to hang on the table, bearing all my weight on my hands and arms, standing on only my good leg that already had the hip replaced. I ended up walking on a walker most of the day because I waited to long to have that hip replaced, crying in pain every day and waiting for my surgery day to approach which couldn't come soon enough! I had anterior joint replacement which is the easiest hip surgery with a very fast recovery, I went home the same day and walked again after 4 weeks without any aid, just like the other hip I had done before. I am now pain free in my hips, my legs are completely even in leg length, I walk normal again and wished I would not have listened to people telling us that you can regrow cartilage because you can't! Please don't believe this garbage, I did and suffered for being so gullible believing I could reverse what osteoporosis did to my joints. I tried it all, eating the Mediterranean diet, I went Vegetarian and then Vegan, the Blood Type Diet and last the Keto diet, all with the hope that I could knock out inflammation in my body. I spend tons of money on all sorts of supplements, you name it, I bought it and took it but NOTHING will reverse the damage osteoarthritis causes, don’t care what anyone says! I still eat very low carb, I exercise again because I now can and I still take some supplements, but my osteoarthritis won't go away, now my hands are hurting me and my knee joints have barely any cartilage left in both of them, but I keep on moving because if I don’t I will be worse off. @gj9736 sorry to hear that. My brain doesn't work that way. I know I need surgery. There's a spur that's preventing my mobility. I'll get that shaved off & see if I can put off or prevent replacement. I still squat (sometimes too heavy) & do regular strength training. So I don't want a replacement if I can't do the things I like to do, because I'm still doing them with a bad hip. My mind tells me it's not fully wear/tear/old age that causes it. My mind tells me it is diet related/autoimmune issues, perhaps. I intend to battle this head on. My pain is non-existent right now. It was quite high. Even with pain medication. Technically, I only tool Aleve. I do not want medication. I do exercises now to induce synovial fluid to aid in the "hopeful repair". I just don't accept what everyone else says. I need to see if there's anything I can actually do before I accept. Just the way I'm wired. If I can't figure it out, then I'll have surgery. But I need to see if I can beat it first

I've got diagnosed with hip osteoarthritis 8 years ago. When just diagnosed I had a lot of pain, was unable to walk sometimes and took a fair amount of ibuprofen. Then I started doing the research. Now, 8 years on, I no longer take any pills, and am mostly pain free. I changed my lifestyle and diet a bit. No. 1 treatment: I travel to the Austrian Gastein Heilstollen for Radon Therapy once every year (8 sessions, a true miracle). I control my weight, do tai chi (for arthritis, Dr. Paul Lam) and leg strength exercises, almost every day. I also go for 30-40 min walk (almost) every day . In my diet there's less sugar, less dairy and plenty fruit n veg. I was never a big meat eater but I am not vegetarian. I drink spice (yogi) tea regularly. I am 69 years of age, love gardening and want to avoid hip replacement, if at all possible. So far so good.
This is interesting for to watch, I am in ny early 80' s, 82 to be exact I can proudly say that it is only about a year ago, that all of a sudden , begin to feel the pain around my pelvic area and I began to to lost my balance of walking, thought it was the Sciatic nerve pain ..4 months later it is now on my knee. I have been very strong even in my 70's I been traveling around the world alone now I am afraid to give it try , but watching your video gave me some insentive to do and try the excersise. Add Ankle weights to your ankles, sit on a high table, do small paddles with the feet, that creates a stretch of the tibia and femur causing a vacuum of new synovial fluid to repair cartilage.

@@catharinemacdonald3783 LOTS of other people on other knee videos are saying that technique (slight weights on ankles while sitting and moving them around) helped them SIGNIFICANTLY; it's NOT about getting used to the pain -- it's more like the same way that building-muscles works: we build muscles due to small TEARS in the muscles (which does cause some pain, fair); this is doing the same thing it causes small tears which brings blood to the area, which then send the "heal me!" signal to the area (bad way of summarizing it, but you get the rough idea).

Yeess that is correct and my battle to get that point across is next to impossible for over a decade now...but also the phemoral head in the hip joint i beleive does get supply because i beleive there is a atery that goes and through to the bone marrow..now i also beleive that cartilage grows and repairs from the bottom up..meaning the phemoral surfaces is loaded with pores..like some creatures you see more that others on the thigh section...through those pores comes the combination fried rice of various substances with calcium.. collagen another fibrous type proteins i think that creates a cool little layer and uses and blood plasma and any orther magical coagulating is prived from the marrow.... I completely rid myself of hip pain through strict ketogenic diet and taking collagen, glucosamine, chlondhrothin (probably spelled that one wrong!), copper, zinc, boron. I can now jump out of bed and never have any hip pain (I won’t say my age but I would be considered “middle aged” 😅😅) we are now rebuilding my husbands right hip collagen (which seems to be bone on bone a few months ago!) we are making great progress! And he mowed the lawn yesterday pain free! He had found pressing the peddles in his car painful on that leg but that’s gone!! So we are definitely making progress!! I found that the recent inclusion of boron and copper and increasing zinc seem to be making a difference. We haven’t had an x-Ray but I’m Very hopeful. I forgot to say that I also did intermittent and prolonged fasting to stimulate autophagy… to activate the release/production of stem cells. I think this is why my progress was rapid (I did a 7 day water, salt, potassium, magnesium fast). My husband has to do a 36 hour fast soon and this should speed up his cartilage regrowth!!😊
@@BS89. I ate nothing during my prolonged 7 day water fast only salt and potassium and magnesium. During my normal intermittent fasting of 16:8 I usually eat 2 meals, maybe 3, and I eat a lot of arugala (rocket) leaves, eggs, bacon (cooked in butter), brocolli, cheese, and Brussels sprouts. If I have 3 meals one is always a small bowl of nuts and a square of 85% dark Choclate. The second meal of the three is 6 boiled eggs or a bowl of fried beef mince, usually in a chilli sauce fried with Smokey bacon, 🥓, passata, chopped carrots and celery, onions, garlic 🧄 ginger, chilli powder, turmeric, herbs, mushrooms.
Your body makes collagen. The fat, fruit, and veggies are key. Hydrogenated fats and sugars are terrible. They can cause inflammation and cancer. Grain stuff like pasta is horrible. Bread is 100% on the glycemic index. White sugar is only 85%! Maltodextrine is 110% or more. It isn't even declared as a sugar by the FDA! Check labels and avoid it if possible. It's in many things. Body building supplements to gravy powders.
I’m 63 with recently Dx inflammatory osteoarthritis of my finger joints. I have already been on a keto-carnivore diet for a few years and the inflammation still continued. Recently I have tried castor oil on my fingers twice daily for 60 days, but little to no changes. Last week I tried a five day home made organic beef bone broth fast (with the fat) and I went into deep autophagy (ketones went up to 5.3 by day 5). I did see a reduction in the size of this cyst like bump on my right wrist. It’s almost gone now, but my inflamed finger joints haven’t yet improved. I plan the do a 3 to 5 day fast each month now. For the pain and stiffness, I find great relief using a paraffin bath about twice daily when it hurts after heavy gardening. This relieves the pain very well and it smells and feels great on the fingers. I have also tried red and infrared light therapy. That has worked great for my lower back pain and muscle cramps (and last fall I healed my carpal tunnel syndrome in both wrists using the inflammation protocol on the panel for 10 weeks three times per week, yahoo no surgery needed!), but I haven’t seen any impact yet on my finger joints. I also use the Bioflex Zone XL panel (longevity protocol to boost my immune system) on my sternum to try to stimulate my adult stem cells (you can use the discount code: RENITA5). There’s some recent research around this, but I have to try this longer and more consistently this fall to see if I see progress combined with the fasting and diet. I’ve cut out sugar, carbs, seed oils, nuts, wine (only 1x per week), no coffee nor tea, and I’ve cut out high oxalate fruits and veggies and no chocolate.
I’m 75. In the past couple years I have experienced knee pain. I had X-rays that showed bone spurs. So, I am in the process of taking better care of myself. I have used lots of joint supplements and currently, I don’t have any pain. I might add that apple cider vinegar has been shown to dissolve those bone spurs. I take one to two tablespoons in a glass of water daily.
Thank you for truthful research. I tried the hyaluronic treatments and got some relief for a short period of time but didn’t do it again because not worth it for the cost and those shots really hurt. Decided to continue working on dropping the extra weight and building up my muscles in hips and thigh area and I bought some really nice knee braces that help take the stress off as I walk and help with my balance. Some things to add: 1) stretching can help the joint tightness and therefore reduce breaking if cartilage 2) prolonged fasts (48+ hrs) has proved to increase stem cell count in the blood stream. You said bliod doesn't reach the cartilage but stem cells may be positive nonetheless.
11:34: Yes, exercise is the best way to keep cartilage healthy and eliminate pain. That's the message. Little movement, prolonged sitting, or other one-sided stress inhibits synovial fluid production and cartilage nutrition. Too little exercise, weak and tense muscles, shortened tendons and fascia lead to incorrect strain and pain. Now you avoid movement. Eventually, the cartilage is damaged, inflammation arises and destroys the cartilage further. It's a vicious circle that needs to be broken.

Thank you for your video. As in a previous comment, I'm trying to regrow my cartilage too. I have Osteoarthritis of the hip. I also switched my diet to an ant-iinflamatory and anti-oxidant diet combined with intermittent fasting. (I am down 10 Kg). I do Chi Kung every morning to recover stability and flexibility back. Still have pain (some days more than others), but I am able to walk again (last year I couldn't walk more than 50m due to the huge pain). I'll keep you and your community posted on my evolution in order to share experience. My conclusion for now: keep your mind healthy and don't stop to move (Exercise! Exercise! Exercise!).
I put honey on my hip and it is helping me. I have almost no pain now. Also like you I will be doing more Kung Fu exercises to improve my flexibility and strength.

I've been dealing with hip discomfort diagnosed as arthritis. For the past two months, I've been treating it with an anti-inflammatory diet, supplements, exercise, acupuncture, and a gait analysis to realign my posture. However, what has really helped to reduce the inflammation immediately and progressively is applying green clay in compresses that I leave on overnight. Green clay is a very affordable and simple remedy to use. Please don't let them discourage you, as you are encouraging me & others in the right direction. I find hyaluronic acid capsules, 200mg daily, has erased the intense bone aching in my hips. If I stop it starts up again in a week! Has not helped pain in hip & knees while walking. Also invaluable was a video on knee meniscus impingement on the inside, demonstrating a quick and easy method to sit, just grab your kneecap, fingertips pressing up under the painful kneecap to separate the joints, then pointing toes up & turn the ankle ONLY inward, pushing down thru your heel hard & count to ten. sometimes one time is all I need to get the joints aligned & moving freely without pain.

Castor oil wraps around my knees worn at night has greatly reduced the pain, knees less swollen and much greater mobility and I have only been doing it less than 3 weeks! Life changing.
Made the switch from keto to carnivore diet. Day 13 and the mobility in my hip is getting better. Like a lot better. Osteoarthritis of my hip. Not sure if its helping cartilage or just eliminating inflammation. If I can put my right sock & shoe on like normal in few months, I'll keep you posted
@nataliewebster1 I feel amazing. Day 19. I can do things with my hip range of motivation that I haven't been able to do since 2019. It's still not 100%, but my goal was 3 months. I feel amazing all over. Night & day type difference. I can't say I'll stop doing carnivore. I'll see my blood work in a few months & see how it reads. I wake up in the morning feeling great. No trouble getting up & out of bed. Like not still tired. If you can try it, I really recommend it. I started noticing differences in 3 days. Try it for 2 weeks or a month. But 3 months would be a better test run

Remember also that they took radiographic images of healthy people with no physical pain whatsoever and found that over 40% of them had arthritis such that if it was seen in a pain clinic would have been the determining factor. It's important to remember that there are multiple factors as to why mobility and pain occur in the body, both physiologically as well as emotionally. Alan Gordon's book "A Way Out" is a definite must if you are dealing with pain of any origin.

I ran for almost 15 years in order to maintain my weight but in 2022, doctor identified early patellofemoral arthritis in my right knee at the age of 31 years. I had no pain just mild discomfort in my knee cap. After about an year, I went to a physio therapist and the therapist identified I had vmo weakness owing to which my patella shifted laterally as well as foot pronation, he gave me knee extension, wall squats, and soleus exercises. The problem didn't solve but overall I had 60 to 70 percent improvement which I feel is good. Other than that I was also researching on MACI/ACI but these surgeries are way to expensive and plus will put my exercises to halt for several months.. but hopefully in coming 5 years we are going to have some better treatments for cartilage regeneration..
LAT PULLDOWNS, rowing, dumbbell presses all help my back pain…also, workout long enough to get some endorphins to feel some euphoria…..loose a few pounds makes a big difference on the knees.

20 years old with OsteoArthritis in my right him from two hip surgeries in my teens. Doc said I'd for certain need a hip replacement soon because I am so young. I hope to avoid it somehow. Just started Keto, will see how that helps.
The problem I have with research studies is how they are done. Nobody knows the control variables that are in these studies so to suggest one or a group fits all well you have to get a constant result. The fact that results varies tells us that some situations can’t be measured by what we already know.. but we can use them as suggestive measures
He forgot to mention knee braces that shift load from the affected knee partition (usually medial) to the healthy latter (or vice versa). Healthy weight and frequent exercise can make a huge difference in symptoms.
I’m 31… got an MRI I have 1. Tendinosis and flattening of the peroneus longus and brevis tendons at the distal fibula without tear. 2. Findings suggesting prior injury of the anterior and posterior distal tibiofibular ligaments. 3. Small accessory anterolateral talar facet with findings of mild subtalar impingement suggested. 4. Moderate-sized tibiotalar joint effusion. 5. Mild talonavicular joint osteoarthritis and other findings, as above. I have been walking 8 miles 4 x a week for the last two years and I’ve been working out in the gym for 10 years, I eat good, don’t drink alcohol at all or drugs. This is terrifying. I’ve already had surgery on my right ankle repairing a torn peroneal tendon. The last thing I can do is go totally carnivore. I am at a loss
I am 41 and have been told I have early onset osteoarthritis in my left shoulder glenhumeral joint. I have been told there isn't much to be done, that I have to live with the pain, take pain killers and exercising through the pain won't make the osteoarthritis worse, just the symptoms will worsen. I have been told physio won't help but I can try steroid injection which may or may not help but I will forever have reduced range of motion until my joint is bad enough for me to have a total replacement in about 20yrs time. As someone who eats really healthy and does strength training and other exercise (I'd like to get back to martial arts) and having been active all my life so far, its hard to believe there is a bleak outcome and no real treatment. If it's early onset and I've seen on the scan it looks a very small area affected, its a shame there are no preventitive menthods and I'm having to wait 20yrs to have my full range of motion back. Im lucky as it's not often I'm in pain day to day with it, it's certain positions when I go to exercise and surpass my limited range of motion. Just miss my full range of motion and ability to do activities I love.
Appreciate the honesty that there is no one answer, and probably multiple factors will help. I have knee OA and do a lot of those things, and am focusing more of my exercise on supporting my body to handleetknee valgus. I think the valgus plus decades of being very active have caused/contributed to the pain, and maybe some development of the OA. Biomechanics approaches to the body are out of style, but it makes the most sense to me. And, there is nothing bad about having strong glutes.Would love a video on biomechanics approaches to exercise.
I'm full of OA in all my joints 😢. Had my hips replaced and it definitely 99% better. My next fix will be my hands they hurt pretty bad. Your video gave me some choice ideas. Thanks
Microfracture helped me rebuild cartilage for my bone-on-bone knee - it lasted 10 years or so. Yet indeed, no chondrocytes in it, so it slowly deteriorated. Now I am looking into MACI cartilage transplant: Matrix-associated autologous chondrocytes implantation. In the meantime,hyalurionic acid, stem cells etc. help keep the knee in good order overall (still, does not glide so well where the cartilage is gone).
I am 35 and have severe cartilage damage.....its really sad because this usually happens when you are alot older, my doc thinks its due to my past knee trauma from having my ACL surgery on the same knee. I have been strenght training since I was 14 and now I can't squat because I need to get some of this synovial fluid drained as it is now leaking and causing a bakers cyst. I am hoping I can get back to squating soon but its hard finding really good info for people who like to lift but deal with this at such a young age. thanks for the info!
Most people are too LaZY and dont want to do the work but we CAN regrow cartilage and other connective tissues. You have to be systematic about it as well as TELL your body what to do. Super High repetitions, like In the 100's even 300's and long static holds are Key ..wrap the tissues with Different oils and Roots also..and be patient...also deep tissue massage with somethng Hard. This alone can work magic on super stiff ..or locked up joints. Also Dont forget Fasting even just 24 hours once or twice a week...drink Bone broth

For Microfracture you have to add BMP-2 and sVEGFRB-1 !!! This creates cartilage. sVEGFRB-1 blocks the cells to form into other cells than chondrocyte cells! This is from Stanford University from the late Dr. Chuck Chan!

Im 65 with hemophilia. After years of injury because of repeated bleeds into my joints I have severe arthritis. 30 years ago I was told I had the joints of a 90 year old. Now they are even worse literally deformed twice their normal size...and that's the bones not inflammation. Could any of this work on me?
I'm 67 and am slim,but have always worked hard on a farm,a few months ago I had pain in my hip, eventually the doctor sent me for an x-ray and they say i need a new hip😱i don't want to go in hospital and have one so im trying to find other ways..I'm on keto and it seems to have helped my inflammation...but it's not solving all the 🤔

I have arthritis in my back, neck, fingers and ankle. I found that working out at the gym doing a five day a week training split (split the body in parts to train) really helps plus doing recumbent bike (I have a bad back - don't come for me) keeps things moving well plus gives me that natural high that beats street drugs any day. I take 4800 mg of omega three and also eat salmon from time to time. I take the the joint relief supplements with glucosamine, condtrointan, tumeric and MsM, vitamin C, Vitamin B complex and magnesium. I used to take that powdered collagen crap, but it did nothing. As a matter of fact when I stopped taking the collagen, I lost weight. I did the hylauronic acid injections in the ankle and I my pain has been reduced for two years now. I find that doing ankle and calf exercises really help the ankle. I do go on my tip toes a lot as I am only 5 feet tall and have two sets of stairs in my house. I eat a bodybuilder diet which has a good combination of protein, fats and carbohydrates. Carbs are not the enemy - they are necessary for brain function and keep one happy plus they give you all that energy to kill it in the gym.. I love veggies and fruit and eat those as well. Yes, I do have some treats. I eat a cookie or a piece of cake once in a while and enjoy foods with artificial sugar as life is just boring without a little sweet. I also have a glass of champagne once in while as bubbles are always fun. I am only 60 years old, so my arthritis isn't that bad yet. I figure all this 'healthy-ass" lifestyle will help a bit with pain for now, but am well aware that my cartilage will keep going away. I won't let things get back and will not wait forever to do surgery if need be. I plan to keep up my weight lifting and cardio as long as I can and even if I do have to get the surgery.
Hello sir, have you looked into pentosan polysulfate? It’s being looked at to help osteoarthritis, it has been used in veterinary medicine for quite some time. It’s also used in oral form to help a couple things, but has some macular side effects. A short course of injectable for six weeks has shown promise. Like to know what you think?
After a kneecap accident, my cartilage seems be to be weakend and damaged, my doctor says this is permanent but honestly I don't want to just give up and live my life with this pain, do you think micro fracturing to regrow new cartilage is a good idea? So this is going to sound crazy, but my goats helped my weight, blood pressure, my diabetes, and my arthritis. The only recent change we had in diet in the past year was that all our dairy came from our goats. I did not make any other change to my diet, but in the milking season I was not able to get the prescriptions for my cholesterol, blood pressure, or the Metformin for my Type 2. I final was able to see a new practitioner last August. I was shocked to learn that I was lower in weight than I had been in more than 20 years. She ran the tests and told me that I was no longer diabetic. My blood pressure was normal and My cholesterol was lower too. My hips and most of my other joints felt better, but my right knee has a Bakers cyst, when we dried off the goats my aches came back. A few years ago I tried a product called chocolate tourmaries and found they were amazing for relieving my achiness. It was interrupting my sleep at the time and those little chocolate squares really delivered. I can’t afford them at the moment, but as soon as I can, I will be taking them again. I don’t expect miracles. I just want to be able to hike, garden , do farm chores and get good sleep.
Prof. Dr. J. Bellemans, who is on RUclips, has a video where he claims that cartilage can be grown (strengthened) via the condrocytes. He also provides suggested physical motions (activities) to activate the process.
The best way to regrow hyaline cartilage, is umbilical cord stem cell injections. They won't cure late stage full blown arthritis, but if you have relatively healthy knee cartilage, and had a recent injury, like a recent lesion, they can do wonders. This creates the ideal non-inflammatory environment for chondrogenesis. Then starting in month 4 or 5, get back into walking slowly. Gradually. On level land. Starting small, and slowly increasing. The art of healing hyaline cartilage is #1- load the synovial fluid with extreme growth factors (like umbiblical stem cell) while simultaneously being of minimal inflammatory properties (which umbiblical stem cells are compared to most stem cells), #2- do this simultaneous to maximal nutrition for joint health and bone health, #3- keep leg muscles strong but without bearing much weight, #4- lose some weight so your body has less weight to carry when you start walking more, and #5- start walking in amounts beyond what is truly necessary for your life more like 4 to 6 months after this period of ideal joint environment, ideal nutrition for cartilage, and strengthening and exercise through means that don't involve load bearing or joint impacts. I understand the protocol I just listed isn't financially doable or situationally feasible for most people, but it does work.

I thought cartilage is typically repaired with Allografts. Grafts from donor tissue. RTI Surgical, MTF Biologics, and a bunch of other companies make these surgical solutions. Although personally, I believe and hope that stem cell therapy will replace cartilage plugs, it's less barbaric. I'm shocked that donor grafts weren't first or even on your list. I’m curious about softwave therapy. I’m not bone on bone but some arthritis. I’m athletic and i’m 74. I play racquetball 2x a week against much younger players, 40-60 mostly. I do take osteo supplements daily, it made a big difference for me since my 50’s. I eat balance, sleep 6-7 hours. My nephew did a softwave treatment it worked for him, only one session. And i haven’t heard any long term satisfaction yet, and i read it takes several treatments. So i’m curious.

My doctor just told me that I have osteoarthritis in my hip joint and my knee. It is painful. Things like IBUPROFEN VOLLTAREN A535 help to reduce the pain. On a whim I applied some natural honey on and around my knee. The pain is gone and I have increased mobility. I also put honey on my hip and the pain is gone. Putting honey on the joint seems to be working. Some time ago I had put a gob of honey on a nasty gash on my arm. Without doing anything else it healed perfectly. Now I hope that applying natural honey will help me heal. Everything always goes better with honey!!!
Strength training is key, though I'm not sure your skeleton/knees will actually straighten up. I think the stronger muscles just stop the joint 'wobbling around' as you walk, thus reducing the random-angle impacts on the cartilage. I suggest if joints are very painful AND if it is safe for you personally- , to take a bit of aspirin or other NSAID BEFORE exercising, to head off the inflammatory response. I also100% agree- we need to get off the computer/phone and go for a walk! Have a great day, I'm going to follow my own advice lol!

I refuse that cliff lol. I'm at level 50, a few aches now and then....but no chronic conditions and the only thing I take regularly are a few supplements. So far so good.
haha, well that is my conclusion at the end but I do try to go over all the different attempts and what they are doing exactly. Regrowing cartilage is sort of like trying to reverse aging. There might never be a perfect solution ❤😊🙏
Years ago, before I ever knew about EPA, DHA, and based on Triglycerides or ethyl esters, or from cold water fish, or smaller fish, I just bought fish oil pills from Walmart. I don't know what brand. I had heard they were good for tendons, etc. I took one or two at a time, didn't notice anything. One time, after months if not a year with a nagging back ache - one that would get better but not go away, and worsen, and then get better again, one night after a big spaghetti dinner, I spontaneously decided to test it and take six or seven (frozen) fish oil pills. That morning, the backache was gone, and it stayed gone. I take six to ten fish oil pills a day now, try to get the good kind, and if I do overdo it with my back, I don't suffer as badly, and it doesn't bother me long. It doesn't seem to help or prevent tendonitis in my elbow, though, or maybe less profoundly.
Diet is important, exercise is more important for regeneration , but the right kind of exercise, yoga, stretching, callisthenics anything that allows full range of motion of joints, every joint in the body. Circulation, blood flow and time = regeneration, it becomes a lifetime commitment. Who is prepared to spend 2 hours or more day on this for the rest of their lives? Very few people, most people want a quick fix because they are naturally lazy and become sedentary with age, that is why people think it can just be done through diet and pills, the little effort and easy option.
I'm trying to regrow my cartilage now. Osteoarthritis of my hip. As soon as I found out it was arthritis, the next day, I switched my diet to the ketogenic diet. 3 week I was off pain killers. Keto kills inflammation in the body. Almost 100%! I did exercises to get the stability back. Just still don't have the mobility. I'll keep you posted on the cartilage regeneration journey

Both of my hips have been replaced due to osteoarthritis and I hate to be the barer of bad news, but your hips will only get worse no matter what you do. I been Keto for a long time, don't eat junk food or drink sodas (never have), I am not overweight, been active my entire life and exercised in the gym 5 days a week besides walking 3 to 5 miles every single day. I waited way to long to have my left hip replaced because I to thought that I could avoid surgery by taking all the right supplements and eating the right foods which was really dumb of me and boy did I ever pay the price for that! I developed cysts in my hip joint and my cartilage was gone, I was bone on bone with my hip joint looking like the rats had chewed on it, being in excruciating pain, pain I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy! I no longer could get out of the car without hanging on the car door for at least 5 minutes, unable to straighten my leg or putting any weight on it. I had to carry crutches and a walker in the car with me and I also couldn’t sit in a normal position in the car seat, I no longer could sit at the dinner table to eat because I couldn't stand up from a sitting position afterwards and had to hang on the table, bearing all my weight on my hands and arms, standing on only my good leg that already had the hip replaced. I ended up walking on a walker most of the day because I waited to long to have that hip replaced, crying in pain every day and waiting for my surgery day to approach which couldn't come soon enough! I had anterior joint replacement which is the easiest hip surgery with a very fast recovery, I went home the same day and walked again after 4 weeks without any aid, just like the other hip I had done before. I am now pain free in my hips, my legs are completely even in leg length, I walk normal again and wished I would not have listened to people telling us that you can regrow cartilage because you can't! Please don't believe this garbage, I did and suffered for being so gullible believing I could reverse what osteoporosis did to my joints. I tried it all, eating the Mediterranean diet, I went Vegetarian and then Vegan, the Blood Type Diet and last the Keto diet, all with the hope that I could knock out inflammation in my body. I spend tons of money on all sorts of supplements, you name it, I bought it and took it but NOTHING will reverse the damage osteoarthritis causes, don’t care what anyone says! I still eat very low carb, I exercise again because I now can and I still take some supplements, but my osteoarthritis won't go away, now my hands are hurting me and my knee joints have barely any cartilage left in both of them, but I keep on moving because if I don’t I will be worse off. @gj9736 sorry to hear that. My brain doesn't work that way. I know I need surgery. There's a spur that's preventing my mobility. I'll get that shaved off & see if I can put off or prevent replacement. I still squat (sometimes too heavy) & do regular strength training. So I don't want a replacement if I can't do the things I like to do, because I'm still doing them with a bad hip. My mind tells me it's not fully wear/tear/old age that causes it. My mind tells me it is diet related/autoimmune issues, perhaps. I intend to battle this head on. My pain is non-existent right now. It was quite high. Even with pain medication. Technically, I only tool Aleve. I do not want medication. I do exercises now to induce synovial fluid to aid in the "hopeful repair". I just don't accept what everyone else says. I need to see if there's anything I can actually do before I accept. Just the way I'm wired. If I can't figure it out, then I'll have surgery. But I need to see if I can beat it first

I've got diagnosed with hip osteoarthritis 8 years ago. When just diagnosed I had a lot of pain, was unable to walk sometimes and took a fair amount of ibuprofen. Then I started doing the research. Now, 8 years on, I no longer take any pills, and am mostly pain free. I changed my lifestyle and diet a bit. No. 1 treatment: I travel to the Austrian Gastein Heilstollen for Radon Therapy once every year (8 sessions, a true miracle). I control my weight, do tai chi (for arthritis, Dr. Paul Lam) and leg strength exercises, almost every day. I also go for 30-40 min walk (almost) every day . In my diet there's less sugar, less dairy and plenty fruit n veg. I was never a big meat eater but I am not vegetarian. I drink spice (yogi) tea regularly. I am 69 years of age, love gardening and want to avoid hip replacement, if at all possible. So far so good.

This is interesting for to watch, I am in ny early 80' s, 82 to be exact I can proudly say that it is only about a year ago, that all of a sudden , begin to feel the pain around my pelvic area and I began to to lost my balance of walking, thought it was the Sciatic nerve pain ..4 months later it is now on my knee. I have been very strong even in my 70's I been traveling around the world alone now I am afraid to give it try , but watching your video gave me some insentive to do and try the excersise. @@renumadan9277 Not a doctor, but I'd say, don't do it! Pain can sensitize you to feel more pain, and it's a sign that something in your body is not comfortable. For me, avoiding pain is a good goal.
@@catharinemacdonald3783 LOTS of other people on other knee videos are saying that technique (slight weights on ankles while sitting and moving them around) helped them SIGNIFICANTLY; it's NOT about getting used to the pain -- it's more like the same way that building-muscles works: we build muscles due to small TEARS in the muscles (which does cause some pain, fair); this is doing the same thing it causes small tears which brings blood to the area, which then send the "heal me!" signal to the area (bad way of summarizing it, but you get the rough idea).
get rid of sugars / inflammation eat a balanced diet add bone broth lots of vegetables & your body will do the rest & regrow cartilage . we are fearfully & wonderfully created by God . if our skin & bones heal on their own then so can anything else in our bodies we just need to give it the right nutrients
Yeess that is correct and my battle to get that point across is next to impossible for over a decade now...but also the phemoral head in the hip joint i beleive does get supply because i beleive there is a atery that goes and through to the bone marrow..now i also beleive that cartilage grows and repairs from the bottom up..meaning the phemoral surfaces is loaded with pores..like some creatures you see more that others on the thigh section...through those pores comes the combination fried rice of various substances with calcium.. collagen another fibrous type proteins i think that creates a cool little layer and uses and blood plasma and any orther magical coagulating is prived from the marrow....

The reason why its soo not easy to believe hips and knees can repair themselves without surgery is because of the amount of this combination of proteins being dispersed is a slow and miniscule process..and movent is a thousand times more constant on day to day. So it is next to impossible to see or experience meaningful repair of the joint because the rate of production and mix to cure is waaay slower than movement and friction being created. I forgot to say that I also did intermittent and prolonged fasting to stimulate autophagy… to activate the release/production of stem cells. I think this is why my progress was rapid (I did a 7 day water, salt, potassium, magnesium fast). My husband has to do a 36 hour fast soon and this should speed up his cartilage regrowth!!😊

@@BS89. I ate nothing during my prolonged 7 day water fast only salt and potassium and magnesium. During my normal intermittent fasting of 16:8 I usually eat 2 meals, maybe 3, and I eat a lot of arugala (rocket) leaves, eggs, bacon (cooked in butter), brocolli, cheese, and Brussels sprouts. If I have 3 meals one is always a small bowl of nuts and a square of 85% dark Choclate. The second meal of the three is 6 boiled eggs or a bowl of fried beef mince, usually in a chilli sauce fried with Smokey bacon, 🥓, passata, chopped carrots and celery, onions, garlic 🧄 ginger, chilli powder, turmeric, herbs, mushrooms.
Your body makes collagen. The fat, fruit, and veggies are key. Hydrogenated fats and sugars are terrible. They can cause inflammation and cancer. Grain stuff like pasta is horrible. Bread is 100% on the glycemic index. White sugar is only 85%! Maltodextrine is 110% or more. It isn't even declared as a sugar by the FDA! Check labels and avoid it if possible. It's in many things. I’m 63 with recently Dx inflammatory osteoarthritis of my finger joints. I have already been on a keto-carnivore diet for a few years and the inflammation still continued. Recently I have tried castor oil on my fingers twice daily for 60 days, but little to no changes. Last week I tried a five day home made organic beef bone broth fast (with the fat) and I went into deep autophagy (ketones went up to 5.3 by day 5). I did see a reduction in the size of this cyst like bump on my right wrist. It’s almost gone now, but my inflamed finger joints haven’t yet improved. I plan the do a 3 to 5 day fast each month now. For the pain and stiffness, I find great relief using a paraffin bath about twice daily when it hurts after heavy gardening. This relieves the pain very well and it smells and feels great on the fingers. I have also tried red and infrared light therapy. That has worked great for my lower back pain and muscle cramps (and last fall I healed my carpal tunnel syndrome in both wrists using the inflammation protocol on the panel for 10 weeks three times per week, yahoo no surgery needed!), but I haven’t seen any impact yet on my finger joints. I also use the Bioflex Zone XL panel (longevity protocol to boost my immune system) on my sternum to try to stimulate my adult stem cells (you can use the discount code: RENITA5). There’s some recent research around this, but I have to try this longer and more consistently this fall to see if I see progress combined with the fasting and diet. I’ve cut out sugar, carbs, seed oils, nuts, wine (only 1x per week), no coffee nor tea, and I’ve cut out high oxalate fruits and veggies and no chocolate.
Try putting natural honey on your finger joints. Smearing natural honey around my knee cap has been helping me - almost no pain.
I’m 75. In the past couple years I have experienced knee pain. I had X-rays that showed bone spurs. So, I am in the process of taking better care of myself. I have used lots of joint supplements and currently, I don’t have any pain. I might add that apple cider vinegar has been shown to dissolve those bone spurs. I take one to two tablespoons in a glass of water daily.
Thank you for truthful research. I tried the hyaluronic treatments and got some relief for a short period of time but didn’t do it again because not worth it for the cost and those shots really hurt. Decided to continue working on dropping the extra weight and building up my muscles in hips and thigh area and I bought some really nice knee braces that help take the stress off as I walk and help with my balance. I saw a multi year study on glucosamine. First nobody got better but. That said, the control group deteriorated at a faster rate.
Some things to add:
1) stretching can help the joint tightness and therefore reduce breaking if cartilage
2) prolonged fasts (48+ hrs) has proved to increase stem cell count in the blood stream. You said bliod doesn't reach the cartilage but stem cells may be positive nonetheless.

11:34: Yes, exercise is the best way to keep cartilage healthy and eliminate pain. That's the message. Little movement, prolonged sitting, or other one-sided stress inhibits synovial fluid production and cartilage nutrition. Too little exercise, weak and tense muscles, shortened tendons and fascia lead to incorrect strain and pain. Now you avoid movement. Eventually, the cartilage is damaged, inflammation arises and destroys the cartilage further. It's a vicious circle that needs to be broken.

Thank you for your video. As in a previous comment, I'm trying to regrow my cartilage too. I have Osteoarthritis of the hip. I also switched my diet to an ant-iinflamatory and anti-oxidant diet combined with intermittent fasting. (I am down 10 Kg). I do Chi Kung every morning to recover stability and flexibility back. Still have pain (some days more than others), but I am able to walk again (last year I couldn't walk more than 50m due to the huge pain). I'll keep you and your community posted on my evolution in order to share experience. My conclusion for now: keep your mind healthy and don't stop to move (Exercise! Exercise! Exercise!).

I've been dealing with hip discomfort diagnosed as arthritis. For the past two months, I've been treating it with an anti-inflammatory diet, supplements, exercise, acupuncture, and a gait analysis to realign my posture. However, what has really helped to reduce the inflammation immediately and progressively is applying green clay in compresses that I leave on overnight.
Green clay is a very affordable and simple remedy to use. If I stop it starts up again in a week! Has not helped pain in hip & knees while walking. Also invaluable was a video on knee meniscus impingement on the inside, demonstrating a quick and easy method to sit, just grab your kneecap, fingertips pressing up under the painful kneecap to separate the joints, then pointing toes up & turn the ankle ONLY inward, pushing down thru your heel hard & count to ten. sometimes one time is all I need to get the joints aligned & moving freely without pain.

@nataliewebster1 I feel amazing. Day 19. I can do things with my hip range of motivation that I haven't been able to do since 2019. It's still not 100%, but my goal was 3 months. I feel amazing all over. Night & day type difference. I can't say I'll stop doing carnivore. I'll see my blood work in a few months & see how it reads. I wake up in the morning feeling great. No trouble getting up & out of bed. Like not still tired. If you can try it, I really recommend it. I started noticing differences in 3 days. Try it for 2 weeks or a month. But 3 months would be a better test run

Remember also that they took radiographic images of healthy people with no physical pain whatsoever and found that over 40% of them had arthritis such that if it was seen in a pain clinic would have been the determining factor. It's important to remember that there are multiple factors as to why mobility and pain occur in the body, both physiologically as well as emotionally. Alan Gordon's book "A Way Out" is a definite must if you are dealing with pain of any origin.

I ran for almost 15 years in order to maintain my weight but in 2022, doctor identified early patellofemoral arthritis in my right knee at the age of 31 years. I had no pain just mild discomfort in my knee cap. After about an year, I went to a physio therapist and the therapist identified I had vmo weakness owing to which my patella shifted laterally as well as foot pronation, he gave me knee extension, wall squats, and soleus exercises. The problem didn't solve but overall I had 60 to 70 percent improvement which I feel is good. Other than that I was also researching on MACI/ACI but these surgeries are way to expensive and plus will put my exercises to halt for several months.. but hopefully in coming 5 years we are going to have some better treatments for cartilage regeneration..
LAT PULLDOWNS, rowing, dumbbell presses all help my back pain…also, workout long enough to get some endorphins to feel some euphoria…..loose a few pounds makes a big difference on the knees.

20 years old with OsteoArthritis in my right him from two hip surgeries in my teens. Doc said I'd for certain need a hip replacement soon because I am so young. I hope to avoid it somehow. Just started Keto, will see how that helps.
The problem I have with research studies is how they are done. Nobody knows the control variables that are in these studies so to suggest one or a group fits all well you have to get a constant result. The fact that results varies tells us that some situations can’t be measured by what we already know.. but we can use them as suggestive measures
He forgot to mention knee braces that shift load from the affected knee partition (usually medial) to the healthy latter (or vice versa). Healthy weight and frequent exercise can make a huge difference in symptoms.
I’m 31… got an MRI I have
1. Tendinosis and flattening of the peroneus longus and brevis tendons at the distal fibula without tear. 2. Findings suggesting prior injury of the anterior and posterior distal tibiofibular ligaments. 3. Small accessory anterolateral talar facet with findings of mild subtalar impingement suggested. 4. Moderate-sized tibiotalar joint effusion. 5. Mild talonavicular joint osteoarthritis and other findings, as above.
I have been walking 8 miles 4 x a week for the last two years and I’ve been working out in the gym for 10 years, I eat good, don’t drink alcohol at all or drugs. This is terrifying. I’ve already had surgery on my right ankle repairing a torn peroneal tendon. The last thing I can do is go totally carnivore. I am at a loss

I am 41 and have been told I have early onset osteoarthritis in my left shoulder glenhumeral joint. I have been told there isn't much to be done, that I have to live with the pain, take pain killers and exercising through the pain won't make the osteoarthritis worse, just the symptoms will worsen. I have been told physio won't help but I can try steroid injection which may or may not help but I will forever have reduced range of motion until my joint is bad enough for me to have a total replacement in about 20yrs time. As someone who eats really healthy and does strength training and other exercise (I'd like to get back to martial arts) and having been active all my life so far, its hard to believe there is a bleak outcome and no real treatment. If it's early onset and I've seen on the scan it looks a very small area affected, its a shame there are no preventitive menthods and I'm having to wait 20yrs to have my full range of motion back. Im lucky as it's not often I'm in pain day to day with it, it's certain positions when I go to exercise and surpass my limited range of motion. Just miss my full range of motion and ability to do activities I love.

Appreciate the honesty that there is no one answer, and probably multiple factors will help. I have knee OA and do a lot of those things, and am focusing more of my exercise on supporting my body to handleetknee valgus. I think the valgus plus decades of being very active have caused/contributed to the pain, and maybe some development of the OA. Biomechanics approaches to the body are out of style, but it makes the most sense to me. And, there is nothing bad about having strong glutes.Would love a video on biomechanics approaches to exercise.
I have cartilage damage of the knee too and found building the glute&hip muscles takes some of the weight and pain off the knee.

Microfracture helped me rebuild cartilage for my bone-on-bone knee - it lasted 10 years or so. Yet indeed, no chondrocytes in it, so it slowly deteriorated. Now I am looking into MACI cartilage transplant: Matrix-associated autologous chondrocytes implantation. In the meantime,hyalurionic acid, stem cells etc. help keep the knee in good order overall (still, does not glide so well where the cartilage is gone).

I am 35 and have severe cartilage damage.....its really sad because this usually happens when you are alot older, my doc thinks its due to my past knee trauma from having my ACL surgery on the same knee. Most people are too LaZY and dont want to do the work but we CAN regrow cartilage and other connective tissues. You have to be systematic about it as well as TELL your body what to do. Im 65 with hemophilia. After years of injury because of repeated bleeds into my joints I have severe arthritis. 30 years ago I was told I had the joints of a 90 year old. I have arthritis in my back, neck, fingers and ankle. I found that working out at the gym doing a five day a week training split (split the body in parts to train) really helps plus doing recumbent bike (I have a bad back - don't come for me) keeps things moving well plus gives me that natural high that beats street drugs any day. I take 4800 mg of omega three and also eat salmon from time to time. I take the the joint relief supplements with glucosamine, condtrointan, tumeric and MsM, vitamin C, Vitamin B complex and magnesium. I used to take that powdered collagen crap, but it did nothing. As a matter of fact when I stopped taking the collagen, I lost weight. I did the hylauronic acid injections in the ankle and I my pain has been reduced for two years now. I find that doing ankle and calf exercises really help the ankle. I do go on my tip toes a lot as I am only 5 feet tall and have two sets of stairs in my house. I eat a bodybuilder diet which has a good combination of protein, fats and carbohydrates. Carbs are not the enemy - they are necessary for brain function and keep one happy plus they give you all that energy to kill it in the gym.. I love veggies and fruit and eat those as well. Yes, I do have some treats. I eat a cookie or a piece of cake once in a while and enjoy foods with artificial sugar as life is just boring without a little sweet. I also have a glass of champagne once in while as bubbles are always fun. I am only 60 years old, so my arthritis isn't that bad yet. I figure all this 'healthy-ass" lifestyle will help a bit with pain for now, but am well aware that my cartilage will keep going away. I won't let things get back and will not wait forever to do surgery if need be. I plan to keep up my weight lifting and cardio as long as I can and even if I do have to get the surgery.

Hello sir, have you looked into pentosan polysulfate? It’s being looked at to help osteoarthritis, it has been used in veterinary medicine for quite some time. It’s also used in oral form to help a couple things, but has some macular side effects. A short course of injectable for six weeks has shown promise. Like to know what you think?
After a kneecap accident, my cartilage seems be to be weakend and damaged, my doctor says this is permanent but honestly I don't want to just give up and live my life with this pain, do you think micro fracturing to regrow new cartilage is a good idea?

So this is going to sound crazy, but my goats helped my weight, blood pressure, my diabetes, and my arthritis. The only recent change we had in diet in the past year was that all our dairy came from our goats. I did not make any other change to my diet, but in the milking season I was not able to get the prescriptions for my cholesterol, blood pressure, or the Metformin for my Type 2. I final was able to see a new practitioner last August. I was shocked to learn that I was lower in weight than I had been in more than 20 years. She ran the tests and told me that I was no longer diabetic. My blood pressure was normal and My cholesterol was lower too. My hips and most of my other joints felt better, but my right knee has a Bakers cyst, when we dried off the goats my aches came back. A few years ago I tried a product called chocolate tourmaries and found they were amazing for relieving my achiness. It was interrupting my sleep at the time and those little chocolate squares really delivered. I can’t afford them at the moment, but as soon as I can, I will be taking them again. I don’t expect miracles. I just want to be able to hike, garden , do farm chores and get good sleep.
All chocolate is high in oxalic acid. Oxalate crystals deposit in synovial fluids (joints, eyes).
Prof. Dr. J. Bellemans, who is on RUclips, has a video where he claims that cartilage can be grown (strengthened) via the condrocytes. He also provides suggested physical motions (activities) to activate the process.
The best way to regrow hyaline cartilage, is umbilical cord stem cell injections. They won't cure late stage full blown arthritis, but if you have relatively healthy knee cartilage, and had a recent injury, like a recent lesion, they can do wonders. ESPECIALLY if its an impaction fracture (which means the cartilage is still present), because the bone bruising beneath the cartilage can temporarily provide some additional nutrients. There are reputable, and unreputable sources for this procedure. Without naming names, several of the most reputable ones are in Central America. Immediately after a cartilage injury, cycle roughly 15 minutes a day, twice a day, moderate resistance, no need to go real fast. Do this for a 4 or 5 months daily. And (contrary to popular belief), don't walk a lot during this period of time. Strengthen your legs using the cycling, glute bridges, leg presses, etc. Try to keep your legs strong, and your joints in constant smooth motion, while keeping joint impacts to a minimum. This creates the ideal non-inflammatory environment for chondrogenesis. Then starting in month 4 or 5, get back into walking slowly. Gradually. On level land. Starting small, and slowly increasing. The art of healing hyaline cartilage is #1- load the synovial fluid with extreme growth factors (like umbiblical stem cell) while simultaneously being of minimal inflammatory properties (which umbiblical stem cells are compared to most stem cells), #2- do this simultaneous to maximal nutrition for joint health and bone health, #3- keep leg muscles strong but without bearing much weight, #4- lose some weight so your body has less weight to carry when you start walking more, and #5- start walking in amounts beyond what is truly necessary for your life more like 4 to 6 months after this period of ideal joint environment, ideal nutrition for cartilage, and strengthening and exercise through means that don't involve load bearing or joint impacts. I understand the protocol I just listed isn't financially doable or situationally feasible for most people, but it does work.
Is it possible to repair floating miniscus by placing that piece at its original position, and stitch it, and by giving stem cell treatment?
The only thing that helps me with pain and stiffness is movement. Get out of bed, off the sofa and move.
What about MACI ? Its an expensive procedure but it shows promising results ( according to clinics )

I never overloaded nor knowingly abused my body. Having been a biker and a runner in my youth, my legs and pelvic area gained much strength. In my working years I chose to transport the work and tools in sections rather than carrying the max weight I could lift, only to totter on my legs, putting stress on ankles and knees.

I thought cartilage is typically repaired with Allografts. Grafts from donor tissue. RTI Surgical, MTF Biologics, and a bunch of other companies make these surgical solutions. Although personally, I believe and hope that stem cell therapy will replace cartilage plugs, it's less barbaric. I'm shocked that donor grafts weren't first or even on your list. I’m curious about softwave therapy. I’m not bone on bone but some arthritis. I’m athletic and i’m 74. I play racquetball 2x a week against much younger players, 40-60 mostly. I do take osteo supplements daily, it made a big difference for me since my 50’s. I eat balance, sleep 6-7 hours. My nephew did a softwave treatment it worked for him, only one session. And i haven’t heard any long term satisfaction yet, and i read it takes several treatments. So i’m curious.

I had pain in my knee and using whole food, veg and fish reduced it to a residual pain, then I tried carnivore and found pork and chicken were no good, but after 3 months on a fatty red meat diet the pain had gone. It comes back if I have ultra processed food.
I am growing my hip/hip bone cartilage back (had been approved for hip replacement). It is too cheap to attract funding for "proof". Very complex protocol. Note: 45 years as a bio-medical engineer ... retired.

I was told that I was not a candidate for stem cells because my knee is Stage 4
I had stem cell prolotherapy in 2011 and 2013 Best decision I ever made! In 2011 I did basic prolotherapy and PRP. My doctor just told me that I have osteoarthritis in my hip joint and my knee. It is painful. Things like IBUPROFEN VOLLTAREN A535 help to reduce the pain. On a whim I applied some natural honey on and around my knee. The pain is gone and I have increased mobility. I also put honey on my hip and the pain is gone. Putting honey on the joint seems to be working. Some time ago I had put a gob of honey on a nasty gash on my arm. Without doing anything else it healed perfectly. Now I hope that applying natural honey will help me heal. Everything always goes better with honey!!!
Strength training is key, though I'm not sure your skeleton/knees will actually straighten up. I think the stronger muscles just stop the joint 'wobbling around' as you walk, thus reducing the random-angle impacts on the cartilage. I suggest if joints are very painful AND if it is safe for you personally- , to take a bit of aspirin or other NSAID BEFORE exercising, to head off the inflammatory response. I also100% agree- we need to get off the computer/phone and go for a walk! Have a great day, I'm going to follow my own advice lol!
Wish I could exercise , the osteoarthritis in my sacrum is intense, along with gluteus minimus tendinopathy and hamstring tendinopathy and bilateral hip bursitis!!! What a mess😢

I refuse that cliff lol. I'm at level 50, a few aches now and then....but no chronic conditions and the only thing I take regularly are a few supplements. So far so good.

haha, well that is my conclusion at the end but I do try to go over all the different attempts and what they are doing exactly. Regrowing cartilage is sort of like trying to reverse aging. There might never be a perfect solution ❤😊🙏

Years ago, before I ever knew about EPA, DHA, and based on Triglycerides or ethyl esters, or from cold water fish, or smaller fish, I just bought fish oil pills from Walmart. I don't know what brand. I had heard they were good for tendons, etc. I took one or two at a time, didn't notice anything. One time, after months if not a year with a nagging back ache - one that would get better but not go away, and worsen, and then get better again, one night after a big spaghetti dinner, I spontaneously decided to test it and take six or seven (frozen) fish oil pills. That morning, the backache was gone, and it stayed gone. I take six to ten fish oil pills a day now, try to get the good kind, and if I do overdo it with my back, I don't suffer as badly, and it doesn't bother me long. It doesn't seem to help or prevent tendonitis in my elbow, though, or maybe less profoundly.
My hips hurt so much, that I can not walk long distances. I always practiced sports. Now I can do nothing.
Diet is important, exercise is more important for regeneration , but the right kind of exercise, yoga, stretching, callisthenics anything that allows full range of motion of joints, every joint in the body. Circulation, blood flow and time = regeneration, it becomes a lifetime commitment. Who is prepared to spend 2 hours or more day on this for the rest of their lives? Very few people, most people want a quick fix because they are naturally lazy and become sedentary with age, that is why people think it can just be done through diet and pills, the little effort and easy option.
