Also your eyes need sunlight and so does your skin/body. There are rays that can also penetrate clothing that are beneficial for good health

Just to share my own story for those worried or wanting other advice. I had DVT at 26, doctors gave no cause, they said it wasn't my gaming habits because I work a full time job. Drink water, do a a 10 minute walk every two hours, stretch your legs a little. Ive got a permanently swollen right leg which I wear a very strong compression sock for and i also take abixapan blood thinning tablets ( By choice) just to be extra safe. I nearly died my DVT was that bed, save yourselves the trouble and just do a little walking every few hours. Please.
Have you been tested for May-Thurner syndrome? I’m 45 now and since 18, I’ve had tons of DVT’s, one pulmonary embolism and hospital visit’s trying to figure it out. 2 years ago while experiencing my PE, a doctor came in and told me about May-Thurner, I was checked for it and sure enough, that was it! I am all about telling others to ask their doctors to check for it.❤
So impressive! I better get off my butt, walk more and do more strength exercises! I took the liberty of using one of your links to write another positive review. Very well deserved!
I always wear compression socks when I travel. Makes a world of difference. I also bring along a rubber stretchy strap - you can do leg exercises and stretches while seated (then every chance you get, walk around). Thanks for this, Doc!
Watch your electrolytes I had almost a deadly bought of low blood Sodium It caused all kinds of fluid retention and high blood pressure. I was overhydrating - drinking tons of plain water very nearly killed me. Those of us with access to Clean water take for granted how much we can drink. And before we know if we are at the hospital for 3 days and at risk for major brain bleed. Please have your electrolytes checked
I had my first blood clot at age 40. I was temporarily off work for a medical issue so set on the couch 🛋️ all day. The Dr. Theory is since my feet dangled instead of touching the floor he believes it cutoff circulation to my leg. I allowed it to be swollen 2 or 3 days before I went to the ER. When I got to the ER I said I'm not sure what the issue is but my leg is swollen and won't go down. It did not hurt at all so keep that in mind they don't always hurt. Anyway they freaked out nurses come running from everywhere. They are all this is very critical you lucky to be alive! After an ultrasound of my legs they said I had a foot long blood clot in my upper thigh. They gave me lovenox shots for a few weeks and that was it. Haven't had another one since However I do walk at least 30 minutes a day most days and I also take a low dose aspirin to help prevent blood clots and heart attack since I have been diagnosed with coronary artery disease. Heart disease is common in my family unfortunately. So anytime your on a plane or sitting still a long time try to get up move around or even exercises while sitting such as stretching the legs can prevent blood clots. Protip anytime you suspect you have a clot or a heart attack you should immediately take an aspirin as you head to the hospital. I have seen this actually save peoples lives as it helps thin the blood while you wait.
Look into the Magnesiums I'm the same as you minus bc so far fingers xd but I'm told I shld be dead.dr Berg is amazing for videos but go the Magnesium ones
was this after covid shots? because those huge foot long clots really started to appear in young age CADAVERS in the morgues. The embalmers came out and told about it. Epidemic of that.

Thank-you. I was diagnosed with idiopathic edema a at 17. I am 68 now and it has just gotten worse, especially when it is hot outside. I exercise, eat well, wear compression socks(now diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency). However, you had many very helpful tips and I am so grateful to have found this website.

I have been using otc pressure socks with 10~15mmhg. It helps me a lot since I have diagnosed diabetic with high cholesterol. And I do some of exercises as on this video. It works good for me..I raise my legs when I sleep.

I am now 76 and about 15-20 overweight and I swim and do Tai Chi ... I started crawling during lockdown and found that it helped fix my right knee ... I was then able to get down from the floor with ease (that took a year) ... And a couple of months ago I was carrying a box and tripped over one of those concrete blocks in the parking lot ... and I just rolled back up onto my feet. I was shocked and did not know what happened, but I was standing and no damage anywhere on my body AND WAS STILL HOLDING THE BOX! That still gives me chills thinking about it. And I don't know if that was a miracle or an automatic movement that I have programmed into my body through exercise. Anyway, I highly recommend crawling. I found it is a thing called Primal Movement on RUclips.

I remember the old folks who after their evening lite meal...usually left overs from heavy mid day meal...they would sit on the porch in their rocking chairs, rocking while the man swatted flies and the woman shelled peas or popped beans and the kids shelled corn for the chickens.
This video is a game-changer! I had no idea that simple actions like wearing compression socks and staying active could make such a big difference for blood flow. Definitely going to try these tips out, especially the leg pumps during long sitting sessions

Calves are your second heart. Heard that once. Love that. Walking is so important. Even if you just walked for 10 minutes every day or every other day that would be better than nothing.
A few years ago I was having significant pain in my left foot. Felt like the source was the top side of the foot on the bone. I also had chronic knee pain and thought arthritis was settling in. Went to the foot doctor, got diagnosed with… tight calves. Seriously. I started what I now only semi-jokingly call the “miracle stretch” - the one where you keep your heels on the floor and lean forward against a wall. Per doctor’s orders I did it for about a minute 10 times a day. After doing that for about a week the pain in my knee and foot was gone, and as long as I do the stretching a few times a day now the pain stays gone. Intellectually I understand that there’s a bunch of stuff connected together, but it’s still a bit mind boggling that simple calf stretches fix knee and foot pain that sure felt bone oriented.

Great advice, wish i had this sort of info 40 years ago when i started withback pain that has plagued me all my life. I kept it at bay with exercise but never got any of this sort of advice from my doctor the times i actually managed to get to see one, usually just prescribe pain killers. I am doing all this stuff now and it helps but the damage is done and though i can manage to keep things better i cannot reverse 40 years of wear and tear thats happened due to not getting it sorted sooner.

My husband and I started taking nattokinase just because I learned of the benefits and it literally cured his ED that he had had for 5 years and both of us saw a serious difference in our veins plumping up as they weren't before. We are in our mid 50s.
I have May-Thurner syndrome.. after having stent surgery it doesn’t seem like the flow to my left leg is any better.. still swells and hurts sometimes, so thank you for this! I’ll certainly try these! I can’t stand compression socks(because they hurt) but the good thing I haven’t had another DVT or PE since my surgery.😊

1. Compression Therapy (compression socks, sleeves) OTC 5-20mm
2. Regular Exercise (walking, cycling, swimming, walk 1 minute/hour, calf raises, leg raises, ankle pumps, bicycle kicks)
3. Strength Training (most important)
4.
5. Leg Elevation
6. Massage Therapy
7. Warm Water Soak
8. Missing Nutrients
9. Horse Chestnut
10. Hydration (8 glasses water/day)
11. Health Issues (stop smoking, lose weight)

I am all about telling others to ask their doctors to check for it.❤
I've found the big 6 is the best! Perry N showed up on my YT feed & I've been blessed ever since! Zero need for compression hose now!!
Very similar to me except i was 20 when i got it.. they blame it on the gaming seating

So impressive! I better get off my butt, walk more and do more strength exercises! I took the liberty of using one of your links to write another positive review. Very well deserved!
Wow you are beyond amazing thank you so o much, I really appreciate you! 😊🙏❤️
I always wear compression socks when I travel. Makes a world of difference. I also bring along a rubber stretchy strap - you can do leg exercises and stretches while seated (then every chance you get, walk around).
Thanks for this, Doc!
Wow amazing, what compression strength do you prefer?

It turns out that schools and offices are literally murdering people. And it's perfectly legal🪓
Cayenne pepper!! Not aspirin.
Thx for sharing❤❤❤
was this after covid shots? because those huge foot long clots really started to appear in young age CADAVERS in the morgues.

Completely cut out carbs and sugar (carnivore diet) 96 hour fasts and walking.. You will reverse your diagnosis.
I survived stage 4T cancer it put me in a wheelchair for a while. If you seen me now you'd never know. I'm one of the more muscular guys in the gym now, but it took time and slight consistency

Very glad I found your channel. Great info, graphics, animations and data! Keep up the great work!
