Review GNAT Handlebar bag from Mosko Moto
I have put this handlebar bar from Mosko Moto to a real test, about 5000 kilometres while doing the Trans Euro Trail in August 2023.There is definitely a lot to be liked about this product but check out the video as in my opinion some details could still be improved.
If you have any questions just drop me a message.

Hi Gary and glad to hear you’ve enjoy the review!
The mountains in the back are in Tyrol, Austria. Beautiful place.
      Cheers

Thanks for your review, I bought GNAT one month ago and now I'm trying on Africa Twin, it fits perfect, and yes some waterproof or water resistance is recommended for new releases

Glad you enjoyed and good to know it fits your Africa twin!
Unfortunately I’ve had too many rainy days where the lack of waterproofness really affected me :/. Overall is a good design but I’m looking for an option where I don’t have to worry so much about the rain.

Mosko just got these in, and I picked it up, the Gnat in black. It's gorgeous and functional. I love the straps fitting system ...nice and secure no wiggly velcro® straps that could come undone. No, they are very secure straps! Beautiful! I can't wait to use it, for I need it on my bike. I waterproofed my Gnat with Waterproofing Spray ( H2O REPEL)...now 100% waterproof. Easy to do! Great video Thank you

      Nice!
      Does H2O Repel really work?
Would you feel comfortable to leave your passport inside it when raining?

Again, great review. Man, I think you are one of the best MC reviewers out there.. I liked the note about the fitment with the larger Acerbis tank. Regarding to your wishful solution for your phone, I believe if their phone pocket could somehow mount on top of it, but might be too heavy and bulky. That's why, I would probably go with some tank bag solution. Good luck

Thanks a lot, man!! Very motivating to read your comment!
You’re probably right about the phone pocket. It wouldn’t look great with it.

This channel is becoming better and better with every video! Looking forward to videos of rides too! Especially those rides in Montenegro. We all know how awesome this section at 0:22 is! ;)

Ohhh, so you know this section as well! My friend’s motorcycle stopped working right at that section! We got lucky and a jeep towed him up to the top. From there onwards I towed my friend until Podgorica! Fun day! 🤩

@@RoiaMotoThat section is jaws-dropping! So beautiful! Actually, when I saw other people videos, I immediately fell in love with that view...
Your friend should buy indestructible CRF300L ;) I hope there is video of towing :)

I choose the desert color one for my 300L.
Very useful to carry every day items.
A bit disappointment too because isn’t waterproof like the mosko pico tank bag.

The desert colour looks great! If when I bought mine the desert colour was available, I would also have chosen it.
Thanks for leaving your feedback about the waterproofness! I’m definitely going to suggest this to Mosko Moto directly!
      Cheers

Mosko had the same water leaking problem with the Wildcat backpack, but now they have a rain shell for it.

    • @RoiaMoto
      @RoiaMoto  9 месяцев назад

Yes, I’ve got the wildcat as well.
I would still prefer the Gnat being water resistant without the need of an additional shell.

The lack of water resistance is a real bummer! It ruins its usefulness for me. Thanks for a great review.

Thanks for the comment! I agree... actually just came back from a short trip with a lot of rain and it was a real pain to having to keep storing my stuff inside a plastic bag.
I'm working right now on my own handlebar bag which will be water resistant! If all goes as planned, in about 3 months I'll have them available.
if you want me to let you know once is ready just drop me an email. cheers mate

Fala mestre!

Great review. I want one for my 300L but they seem hard to come by in Canada. I can order straight from Mosko Moto but I'd have to lay shipping on an already pricey item. It still may be worth it.

      Thanks for comment, Dave!
I love the design but I must say that the lack of water resistance is annoying me 😂. Not only is not water resistant but it absorbs water! Just keep that in mind in case you go for it!

    • @davejoe2592
      @davejoe2592 4 месяца назад

@RoiaMoto yes, that is also a concern for sure. I try not to ride in rain but sometimes you are out and just end up in rain. I think I saw a comment where someone treated their bag with some sort of water repellant which would probably help a fair bit. I think I'd probably just keep a plastic bag inside it so I could just cover it up in the event of rain, but again, you'd think that Mosko Moto would have made it waterproof to begin with.
