Saw this video a while back, and I got tricked into bying it. Well, it arrived just now - and it really looks swell. Thos securing handles are duplicated on both short and long ends of the bag, so I'll be able to lock it down alongside or normal to the seat. Season is packing up here, but I really look forward to the backrest and convenient access on future trips! Mostly my side panniers can relax in my garage now. Thanks.
I've been running with a 45 litre SW Motech bag for a while with my sleeping kit and tent, but just ordered the Scout 50 litre for that little extra wiggle room; great review, thanks for sharing.
Keeping that bag on pillion seat is best , center of gravity for entire bike and rider will be real good ...no wobbling while riding. Thank you sir 🇮🇳🙏
@@ManCaveMayhem I spoke extensively with Mosko and they agreed i could return the bag if things did not workout...but I'll figure it out. I also have a channel I'll post a video review also not many for this product.
@@ManCaveMayhem I hear ya, just priced their full kit and about fell over. I’m kicking around doing the 40&30L tail bag stacked with the duffel on the back. Skipping the side bags.
Beautiful bag / Ingenious bag! I'm getting one! With the Nelson-Rigg Hurricane Dry bag, 40L, and this bag, that's 90L of storage. A Beautiful set-up you have, and LOVE your bike. Just an Insanely great video.
Thanks Larry for the good info on this bag. I looking for another option also that would fit both my GS and 890r with and without my mosko Moto reckless 80s. I will certainly take a look at the dimensions of the Scout 50 to see if will work. On another note we have a small group heading to Baja on 4/16 gonna do about a week riding in Baja about 50/50 dirt / asphalt. Gonna pack light and stay in lodging (no camping) to save space and keep it light. Let me know if you and your son are interested. My son is around your son's age and he is coming on this ride.
@@ManCaveMayhem yep I get it. Haha. Well let me know even last minute if you want or part of our ride whatever. Not sure if routes yet but I think first day is gonna be crossing at Tecate and riding Compadre trail south with eventually ending up for the first night at Coyote Cals.
Larry can’t remember if I sent you video of my son and I do you can at least get an idea of who we are. This is 1 of 4 episodes from our trip last year ruclips.net/video/5_OCL-H4eIw/видео.html

What camp shoes are those? I'm using the Mosko Moto 40L Duffle...and then my Givi top case too, also can use just the duffle and my medium Nelson Riggs tail bag. You'rs is the large right? I'm loving my new Tiger Rally Pro too!
They are called Merrill hot mocks. Yes, my Nelson Rigg bag is a large I really do enjoy that Rally Pro. I think you’ll find it to be a fantastic bike ride safe my friend. Thanks for watching.🇺🇸👍🏻
Do you know if that bag can be used as the tailbag for the Reckless 80? That would give extra space, whilst keeping the weight all close to the center.
I really wanted to like the Bat Country duffel, but the scout 50 just was lighter and a little more versatile for me and my applications. The Bat Country wasn’t big enough to fit all my camping stuff.
@@ManCaveMayhem I see. So I need a bag for 2 up trips with my wife. I already have a Reckless system but it doesn't work with her on the back (sits too far forward). I think we should be just fine with a single 40-50 liter bag (only doing hotel trips for now). Do you think the Scout is better than the Backcountry (for my intended use)? I suppose the Scout looks like it sits higher, which might not be a bad thing as it could act as a back rest. This is on a 2017 KTM 1090
@@NickRas625 I think the 50 would probably work out pretty good for you as it has a little more room than the 40 and as you said, would probably make a good backrest
@@ManCaveMayhem true. that 50L is a behemoth. It swallows everything. i haven't found a reason to get the panniers. i have 50L scout and top box and im loaded

Great bit of kit keepin all the weight an bulk to the Center keep all the gravity needs sorted, an as you say, a back rest.
Nice!😂❤❤❤❤🙏🙏👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🏍️🏍️
Thanks my friend 👍🏻 Hope the video helped.
No need to apologize for a dirty bike. Good info on the duffle.

I just bought it, and I'm excited watching ur video and feelings.

Can you lock the duffle to your bike with Mosko Locks? Thank you for sharing excellent video.
I’m sure you would be able to. I don’t know for sure on that when I stop anywhere I’m usually pulling my gear off anyhow on long trips.

Just curious why not run that bag with their 40L tail bags as well?
Just cost💰

Good review. Wondering how it would fit longs ways across the pillion and rack?
It would probably fit pretty well and not stick out on the sides especially if you’re not running a tail bag.
@@ManCaveMayhem Exactly what I had in mind. Thank you.
@@pauls2182 keep in mind that is designed the strap down the way. It is on the bike. But I’m sure you can turn it.

What size is the tail bag Nelson Rigg please , looking around for a tailbag solution too:) thanks
I believe they call it the adventure bag it’s not the smallest. I think it’s kind of a medium size bag.
The bag looks like a perfect fit for the Tiger.... Man who turned off the California heat today LOL.
Be well and stay warm Larry.
Thanks my friend 👍🏻
Can you tell me what windscreen you have on the bike? Is it a Givi or OEM?
That’s a factory windscreen.

I believe you are asking if a Pear Ventura boots fit in this and I would have to say possibly?
