Looks like an awesome bulletproof bag. Is there any way to Mount this to a sports/naked bike without a tail rack? Preferably horizontally in relation to the the bike. Lengthwise I think would be in the way. If not can this be integrated in the future? Can the tent pole bag come off, are there different sizes to interchange? Could there be an option in the later version for a shoulder strap. I use a backpack for work and would not be able to to use the backpack function. Adam
You can strap the Backcountry Duffle in either direction. It depends on whether your bike has a place to secure the mounting straps so you can secure the duffle in the preferred orientation. The tent pole bag doesn't come off, but you can use the row of MOLLE in front of the tent pole pocket to strap things down. We haven't considered adding a shoulder strap since there are backpack straps. There are metal D rings on three corners that you can use to attach a shoulder strap, too. The other corner has a clip for your helmet.
@@carloscegelski4914 Hey Carlos,I haven’t tried but I’m sure it wouldn’t be an issue. You might just have to run the straps diagonally. If I get a chance I’ll try it out and let you know.
Will you also make a video that shows the Scout 50 liter? I actually like the large top opening of the Scout but hardly can find any videos that show this size (preferably on my type of bike: 890 Adventure R). Also, will the Scout be updated anytime soon? I like the tent pole feature of the backcountry. Regards
Hey David, the new video for the Scout 30 & 50 duffles will be up sometime next week! Stay tuned. In the meantime here are the dimensions for the Scout 50L, which hopefully help visualize the size on your bike. Width: 13.75" / 35cm Length: 20" / 51cm Rolled Height: 15" / 39cm (with 3 rolls)
I have a first generation Backcountry 40 duffel, and love it. Can you tell me what the purpose is of the five holes in the beaver tail that have blue embroidering around them in the new version?
Hi Mosko. What's up with the big price increase on the panniers? $750 to $900? With 2 pockets they are now over $1000! ( oh, and your website says they're included)
Hey! There’s a ton of grainy detail on the when and why behind our recent price increase in the most recent Mosko blog entry. Check it out here: moskomoto.com/blogs/mosko-moto-blog/boats-planes-preorders?fbclid=IwAR3-rXkbke00xC3JLVva8X5h6P4Uk6iZsxcHspof91UpQF3uUEPCI8P3DKw
the only problem I see with the two open ends is that you can see what's in the middle, you're going to have to do a lot of digging to see what its the middle, vs a wolfman 40L bag. Not hating I already have the solf panniers
Defintiely have to be a bit methodical in your packing to take full advantage of the two-sided rolltop, keeping the things you want most accessible towards the ends of the duffle.
I don't see where it's a whole lot different. With the Wolfman, you're going to have to do a whole lot of digging to see what's at the bottom. Get the luggage that appeals to you, regardless of who makes it.
Because some times there will come a minor revision that doesn't affect the interchangeability with other systems (upgraded zippers, a heavy duty liner and so on). But when you are doing a major revision, you change the number and that can affect several factors. Shortly said, if you are buying a 2.0 or a 2.2, it should still fit and be compliant, but if you switch from 1.0 to 2.0, it may be several larger changes, even if it is in the same product line. This is called Change Management and Revision control in engineering.
My concern too. Preparing for a Central Asia trip next year. Just too apprehensive about the weight. Had to decide another brand. Bought the tankbag though.
I use this bag with my backcountry panniers. It is the most thought out kit on the market!
Thanks, Jeff!
I appreciate the updated features, especially the pole pocket being removable. 👍
I have to get one. I need to choose between 30 or 40 L. Well done.
Nice! It would be great if I could retrofit the side cinch straps to my v.1
Awesome
🙌 thank you!

I purchased the 30l extremely nice bag and the quality is incredible!
Thanks for choosing to be part of the Mosko fam 🙌

@@MoskoMoto Hello! Has the new video for the Scout duffles been delayed? I can't seem to find it on your RUclips channel.

I love my 40L - great product...glad I made the switch...

Awesome! Thanks for your support. :)
The beavertail on the BC duffle can now accommodate a 4L Aux Pox. The five blue holes are the attachment points.

Would the 30l work with the reckless 40 ?
That’s my question as well. That is the package👍
Tight fit! We'd recommend going with the Scout 30L Duffle to use in combination with the Reckless 40 :)
How does it fit on the CRFsOnly rear rack on Honda CRF300 rally?
Hey Sanjeeb, as long as there are 2 good attachment points on the rear rack you are all set 👍
Can the 30l be installed long ways? (with the bike)
Hey Carlos, as long as the duffle is secure, you can mount it whichever way works best for you. 👌
Will the 30 l fit into the top of the reckless 80?
Hey! Some customers have made it work, but we recommend using the Scout 30L over the Backcountry Duffle with the Reckless 80L. 🤘

Can't show the 30L because it's perpetually out of stock, amirite?
Expected to be available end of March.🤘
Why do people call new versions of things two point O, why not just version two, or three or four and so on …….

Nice design. But just way too heavy for lightweight adventure riders 👎
We're listening! What gear are you running for your lightweight adventures?
