I have had your 40 for over a year now it is one of my BEST investments for my adventures and I LOVE it. I can get my tent, cot, chair, sleeping bag, first aid kit, sleeping pad 10x10 tarp, pillow. Thanks for producing a quality well thought out duffel
What’s a cot? They are to put babies in over here in the UK, just curious as I really can’t imagine what it could be. I’m assuming a bed base/camp bed of some description most likely ?? I’ve just received my 40L - fantastic quality eh!
I learned to backpack in the '60's. Routinely backpacked with 50-60 lbs packs. Recently converted to ultralight backpacking. With the new equipment and revised ideas about what is really necessary, I just purchased the 30l and would recommend weight reduction as a key way to increase enjoyment and safety.
@@MoskoMoto My comment was not directed at the Mosko Moto gear, but rather the gear we put into them! Durability and safety come first and your stuff is top notch. I am however stuffing your bags with my ultralight backpacking gear!
@@djsomers100 Great remarks ! I’m’also a hiker for 30 Years and I apply the same principles (reducing the weight that you carry) with the stuff with a Motorbike !
I use this bag even when I'm traveling not only while I'm riding my bike. It can fit in the plane cabinet with no problem. it's perfect with all aspects.
Just the best luggage system knees down (in my opinion)! Been using this kit for over 4 years! 35L Panniers + 25L Scout Duffle! Just very versatile quality kit! The company is always making mods and updating! Which you can do with your own kit! Thanks guys! Keep up the good work! Keep exploring!
Great stuff! Used it on a nearly 12k trip to Alaska and glad I used your gear. The tank bag is especially brilliant, used it on a 10 mile hike to the Kennecott mine and then strapped it back on the tank! Nice bike by the way
I've got a 30 litre V2.0 and it's definitely an improvement on V1.0. It is unbelievably well designed and made. It's on the back of a DR650 (but can also go on GS) so I wanted the smaller version to keep packing size down. Its works brilliantly. Probably the best luggage in the world :)
I saw one of these at the Vancouver bike show this winter. Defiantly going to add this to the bike. Along with the fat tool tool. My tool roll is outta room. Cool bag guys.
I have the backcountry Paniers. They’re way over engineered in a good way. They’ll survive the zombie apocalypse. I’ve dropped my bike on them off road a lot and they still look new somehow! And they’re really well thought out and they’ll even surprise you with features you hadn’t even thought of and out in the middle of nowhere you realize you need it and have it!!
Holy shit, that is *a lot* of bag for the money. I think my search for bike luggage is over... at least as far as brand is concerned. Wish I had seen the Nomad tank bag before buying the SW Evo, but at least I didn't spend $900 on the stock luggage. I found you guys because I was specifically looking for "motorcycle molle luggage". I hate the idea of running out of space, so I wanted to use some molle for expandability.
If you used quick release buckles you wouldn't need straps that have to be undone to get into the roll top. Do like how robust the bottom is. A lot of bags biff it on this.
Dudes, nice stuff off course, but most of improvements are obsolete. Especially when you consider the price. If money doesn't matter, sure, buy one and test. I had a four week test on them including the 35l side bags, but for me too much options, packing compartments, and packing & strapping work. The loading of the duffle from the sides is also not my thing, some stuff is difficult to get in&out. Thumbs up for design, options and ideas, but for me kind of over performed. Keep it simple and price worthy.
¿Can the backcountry duffle 40L version works in combination with the rackless 80? I believe is enough space for me and also there is no pannier rack that works with a BackCountry for my F900GS
The Backcountry 40L can work with the Reckless 80L but we advise using separate straps to secure it. The Backcountry 40L duffle will overhang the leg bags making it difficult to get into them.
Great Design Definitely one of the best options out there However, what's keeping from buying it is the grey color, how stupid that it may sound, I'd love to have an all black version as the grey Just doesn't suit any bike out there. Now I would understand if it's grey because it's reflective. But I didn't hear you address that, does it reflect light? And have you ever thought of how one could lock it? I'm aware you cash get lockable straps but that would mean anything thing here if you can access it from both sides. And, last but not least, what about a hip strap? The reason is is that I enjoy hiking during the off days of my adv trips and the hips strap really helps with the heavy weight, I would tuck them away just like the shoulder straps. This is what normally just strap a mountaineering pack with molly webbing on top of the bike. Anyway, nothing personal, just some food for thought. I think you guys almost have the perfect setup. Keep it up 🤙 Thanks
I’m using the 40lits one in Patagonia. Love the quality but not the design. After the experience, I prefer a top opening desing. At the hotel or tent you need to un do all find something! Can’t understand how can you sell a bag to be attached to a bike with out the straps! In fact, staps are way more important than the Backpack solution in the bag! Love the materials but not the desing.
Appreciate the feedback, Danny! Sounds like our top-opening Scout duffle is more your speed. :) The logos on our bags are reflective and rear-facing, but you're right, we use less reflection than other brands as our gear is designed with off-road travel in mind. You can always add more reflective pieces if need be.
@@Ahduciekwndnbbbsvvvghhhyyyyy We don't recommend the BC 40L Duffle to be used in conjunction with the Reckless 80. You don't need cinch straps, as you would run the R80 beavertail straps through the duffle, but having a pair of cinch straps is always a good idea. :) Yes, the duffle would replace the Stinger 22L the Reckless 80 comes with.
What are the thoughts from Mosko Moto regarding how the 40L duffle *MIGHT* not play well with the 35L panniers? Meaning: the duffle is wide enough to extend over the top of the panniers, preventing access to their roll tops. That in order to access the panniers, you'd have to dismount the duffle. I realize the panniers an be adjusted a couple inches up/down & fore/aft. But i'd like to get some more information on how these 2 systems would work together (think: suggestions & options from MM) before i pull the triggers on the order. I'm running a Gen2 KLR 650 and by my spitball measurements, i really think the duffle would sit on top and maybe contact with the tops of the 35L panniers' roll tops.
My 40L bag arrived yesterday. I was very surprised to find no included fastening straps whatsoever, particularly as your luggage is more expensive than anyone else’s but I can see how good quality the gear is so this week I have received 4 deliveries to the UK with all sorts of luggage. Very impressed with all the features, material etc etc. Can you please tell me what the metal attachment points are primarily used for - they are at each end on the top of the 40L backcountry bag. You didn’t mention them in this video (unless I missed it). Thanks. Oh and finally why do you not sell womens clothing???????????????? I bought a medium top and it’s sooooooo long and so are the sleeves and I’m 5ft 11 inches tall so I’m not short at all. I would so love to buy more clothing, jackets etc from you but there is no point for this reason ☹️
Hey Moira, appreciate your support! Happy to help answer your questions-- The metal loops on the duffle are extra attachment points. Great place for a carabiner. We have intentions of expanding our size range in all directions, but no immediate plan for a women's specific line.

Can you get a full face Shoei in the 30L or the 40L. I’d prefer the 30L.
It depends on the particular helmet and if it has a visor or not. We'd also recommend looking into the Scout Duffles as well.
Any plans for a Reckless 60?
Not currently, but you can make the R40 a 60 by replacing the rear duffle w/ a Stinger 22L and adding MOLLE pouches.
Hi,
Amazing bag. Can it be used with the revolver 80 ? I just purchased this.
Can you fix the BC Duffle 30 onto the BC Duffle 40? Do you then use the beavertail or extra cinchstraps? What is your recommendation?
Have a question: If i have both the 30+40duffle, how can I mount one top of other? or one on rear seat and the other on rack?
I’m wondering the same thing.
