The Reckless 10 is an awesome addition to my bike. It is a permanent fixture, except when camping and then it is the Reckless 80L. I also run the Nomax tank bag, it carries the water bladder. I can't say enough good things about Moskomoto ' s gear, it is exceptional and intuitively designed.
Good for you my friend, this is a sweet set and to be honest, you are the first person I have ever heard of who was given anything from them. I love my Mosko Gear, and Really went all out with it when they was still a new company. I am glad you got your set for free, that is awesome I can see me using this same set up on my 450RL or whatever my next dual sport will be. Keep up the great videos and have a blessed weekend. Dale
Nice setup I will curious to see how it holds up. I’m looking for a good light setup myself I’m getting a bit long in the tooth to be picking up big motorcycle’s on dirt roads
Is the bike still flickable in the single tracks? Would love to lose the backpack but I tried a rack with a small kit on my xr400 and it was not fun. Wondering if the side pouches keep the weight low enough maneuver? Digging the 2 smoke! Thinking the same actually since I have an Africa Twin for adventure rides now not really needing my 450RL. Or..add to the stable🤔
Is that a ktm with "six days" plastics and options? Awesome. The ktm, having the subframe that they do, is really important to get the right bags for it For some reason i thought you were a Honda guy only, which would be awesome too.
Nope. I love Honda, for sure, but I love motorcycles first. The KTM 300 XCW is a fantastic trail bike that will carry you so much further than you thought you could (or should) go it's scary.
figured id just post it here, wondering what vortex settings you have kept the 450rl on and had most efficiency trying to dial in, not sure what settings to use the maps feel pretty simalar
Can you use the base layer (what’s attached directly to the bike) and just switch the bags between the reckless 10,40 and 80 bags? I know when you buy each set separately they come all together with everything you need but just curious if the bags are interchangeable?..
Well the smaller bag can always fit in the bigger holder, but the bag and base system are matched in size. If you put 40L of stuff in the 80L system it will still work fine.
It would fit great. It's pretty small. You might be able to use the bolts underneath the rear fender to attach it without haveing to drill. Me, I'd drill. Plastics are cheap.
Well, now that the CRF has put on some pounds and is getting a little older, well, you know how it is. Honestly, I've had this bike for two years now. Even did a video on it!
@@darksidemoto3693 That's so good to hear. Every time the KTM shows up I get a ton of backlash. The Honda is patiently waiting on some parts from Italy to fix its fairing. It is also a bit heavy to get to where I wanted to go for some photos. Or rather, I am not a good enough rider to maneuver it up there.

Totally agree!
I got a set from them at an off road event. I added them to my Honda 450 RL for tools, pump, tube . etc.. very nice!!
That’s what I do too. I just switch the reckless between the two bikes.
Oh I finally beat you at something! I have had mine for 2 years. Surprised you didn’t have it before!
Well then why didn't you tell me about this thing earlier, Davinder?!?
@@JohnTYoung i dont know? I am a bit of a sucker for Mosko stuff! Have the 10, 40 and the 80. A Reckless for all occasions!

It's as well built as the R80 I use for my big adventures. I see it lasting a very long time. Thanks for the visit Opie.
Great video and review, would love to see a video on your van setup as it looks sweet!
Van?
@@JohnTYoung sorry meant to post this on Pete and Ashely’s Mosko video. Love your videos BTW.
Thanks again JTY.. Looks like I have to buy this now LOL. Will put this on for our 2023 trip. make it happen. Booyah. E

Ya, it still maneuvers great. I haven’t noticed the weight, but I don’t carry the kitchen sink with me either.
Did you get another bike John? Nice bag sir!
Ya! There's a video about it on here somewhere.... Love the Reckless 10s!

You’re missing a Honda!!
I know. It ought to be a Honda 300 two-stroke that weighs 230 lbs.
or beer....hahaha
Yes!
How would it fit in the Honda CRF450RL? Do you have to drill the holes in the rear fender?

Okay...what happen to the crf??? Need answers now....throw that ktm off the mountain and walk back! Please and thankyou😂😂😂
