It's been a long time since I was in the UK & like yer Man,most of family were born in West London ( 6 members) where as me & my youngest Sister were born in E.London! 😂..But it's great to see u have many an decent Eating Establishment providing well cooked traditional fayre!( and that was a interesting & impressive Brekkie served up in the skillet)
The only thing greater than the food- is the owner. One of the kindest, most hard- working , funniest, supportive, giving and absolute smartest man I have ever been blessed to call a friend. So deserved, so so deserved . Bravo Paul!!!
I too, travelled from East London to this excellent and very popular café. I visited on two consecutive Saturdays. I had the exact same breakfast (The Vegetarian English) on both occasions, as it was so good. They also serve ’KIMBO’ coffee, which is superbly smooth (I use it at home and in my business). For what it’s worth, I travelled by tube to ‘Shepherds Bush Market’ station, then crossed the road, to take a 207 bus, westbound, to The Vale (Third Avenue bus stop). This bus stop is directly opposite Paolo’s Café. I cannot overemphasise what a pleasure it is to eat here.
THAT is the best fry up I have ever seen. I loved that it was served up in a hot frying pan. You can see why he has been there for 28 years and with food of that kind of quality and service? He is easily going to be there for yet another 28, or longer. Great review of a great cafe 👍👍.
What an original way of serving your breakfast, love the poached eggs perfectly cooked, it looks absolutely amazing. Kept hot till the last mouthful. Best breakfast yet!!
@@We.are.determined I would imagine that they wouldn't use it to cook the breakfast, just use it as a serving skillet and as it wasn't a particularly large cafe with many covers they bought enough....
I've seen this place in other videos. It looks like the best English breakfast ever. Those mushrooms looked beautifully cooked. I'd also get the tomato and the black pudding.
Only just watched this video, never knew you were born in Ealing! I grew up in Hanwell, still pop back to visit family/friends when I can 👍 it’s still a nice area tbh.😊

Ok that definitely has to be the best breakfast you've ever shown us. Wow!! Completely OTC!! Love the presentation in the hot pan as well keeping it all warm to the last bite. Love his ethos too, that its the customers breakfast and he just wants to please everyone. As you said definitely worth the 45min journey and worth going back again. Loved the little ride at the end through Picadilly Circus etc. London is absolutely gorgeous! Thanks for sharing with us. 🏍😎👍🏼

Well I lived in London a few times. I live in Wales sadly. Went Ace Cafe on Sunday just gone and the £3 coffee was not great cappuccino. Standard coffee next time.. Great Video

have to say a great fry up is fantastic, I always try to do a fry up for our guests when we have friends stay over. this is what I try to get on the table for them bit of everything.
if you ever visit Malvern in Worcestershire, try out big Dave's café in Malvern link, its called the filling station its on spring lane industrial estate. you wont be disappointed. you can look it up on internet

A trip down to Southend on Sea would make a good video. Still the first choice for all of us from East London who fancy a quick day trip to the seaside. Good fun with plenty of places to eat. Let's also not forget, it has the longest pleasure pier in the whole world, with it's own train. What's not to love about Southend.

I am familiar with the location of Cafe Paolo as I’ve walked past it dozens of times over the years, I’ll certainly stop there next time.
