    I don’t know I still love the previous big bezels on each side of the 24 and 32 Cintiqs. With the stand it feels like an actual art table or easel, and if you have large table space it shouldn’t be an issue. I feel like this new model the plastic looks a bit cheap and not sturdy enough compared to the previous models or maybe is just me? And why do people have issues with express remote? Is a small learning curve at first but after is a walk in the park. And 120 hz compared to the 60hz also depends how fast your computer runs. The 60hz with a fast device still works awesome. I do like the the new pen 🖊 but it feels like there’s too much gadgets attachments on each side and not enough elbow room.

      I used it with the stand. The stand is wobbly / springy, which makes it impossible to use - at least for me. Oh and guess what - you can't put the tablet perfectly flat or even close to perfectly flat - there is no way to set it up while the screen is flat to make it touch the table with the bottom edge - it will stay up in the air and wobble / shake with each touch...

    I have the 32" So I may skip out on this one. Do you think its worth getting it and selling the 32" though? I don't know if I like it being 5" smaller though. The 120hz is very making it very tempting so thats leading me to ask your opinion. I'm not a big fan of the eraser missing. Like I get it you have a extra button to toggle between the eraser and pen however I just like how natural it is to flip the pen backwards and erase like a real pencil. That was my biggest gripes about Huion and Apple Pens..

      I have to admit, I am very conflicted about this model. I attended the Wacom live demo and thought they did a terrible job. They really didnt show the device. I am also not sure I agree with many of the design choices. I have the Pro 24, so the little brother to yours. I have 2 videos scripted. One is on where I think the future roadmap is going (I am being asked a lot whats next). The second is a response to the changes to they have made. I would say, if you are the kind of person that needs the latest and greatest then its an easy decision. I hesitate though because the pressure is the same. the 120hz is nice but it just makes things smoother. Maybe it reduces cursor lag but its not like that is a huge problem on our models. That price is nuts too.

    • @Perforu
      @Perforu Год назад

      @@CreateNowSleepLater I had an opportunity to work on it for an hour. The stand is like Wacom shitting on it's own legacy (it's terrible and seems like a product designed by someone who never worked on a display tablet) and if you want that thing to work in 120 Hz you need somthgin with Displayport 1.4 DSC 1.2b capability - so basically you need a PC that's about 2 years old or newer or a M1 /M2 Mac. I think I'd sit out and wait for an updated 24 but who knows how long will it take them, current 24 is 3 years old and that's a very young product in the context of Wacom. They need to milk it a bit longer to cover for R&D costs of these units, if I was to guess I'd say 2-3 more years before they update the 24" (if they do it at all).

    • @CreateNowSleepLater
      @CreateNowSleepLater  Год назад +1

      It’s a safe bet that the next update has slightly better specs. For example maybe a true 600 nits display. I’m not sure why gaming displays can get there but a $3500 unit can’t.

    • @Perforu
      @Perforu Год назад

      @@CreateNowSleepLater I may be mistaken but true HDR needs more than 600 nits, more like 1000 for true HDR experience? Anyway, why are they so dim anyway.. if the room has a little bit of sunshine inside, you can no longer work normally, the screen is too dim. It's been like that since the beginning..all of this is due to lack of competition. if Apple made a 24" ipad I'd just switch to it

    • @CreateNowSleepLater
      @CreateNowSleepLater  Год назад

      I think 600 is the minimum spec to be called HDR compliant. I agree with the rest that you said. Makes no sense.

    Finally they're doing 120 hz and better color accuracy. Can't get over how utterly humiliated my Cintiq Pro 16 feels next to my $300 and 500 gaming displays in every spec except pixel density. 120 hz and 98% DCI-P3, 10 bit color should finally bring the flagship Wacom back ahead of your average gaming display and make it feel like less of a ridiculous compromise.
    I'm honestly not sold on the grip buttons, just 4 buttons and no sliders or dials of any sort? Realistically, I don't use much more than about 8 keys on my Expresskey remote, but that leaves those buttons far short of what I need if they don't come with some major software tricks. Although, you don't technically have to use the grips (as a peasant Pro 16 user, there's no space on my bezel for the Expresskey remote either), but it's a missed opportunity that they didn't add more buttons to the side. Would have made sense to expand the bezels on the sides more - or even design the display to come with smaller bezels and have those side grips as a plug-in, screw-on addition. Then you can have variable bezels based on how wide you want them, and whether you want added controls. Perfect chance to add a spot that holds onto the Expresskey remote, too.

    • @CreateNowSleepLater
      @CreateNowSleepLater  Год назад

      I think I agree on all points. The thing is, if you use an arm like I do, Im not sure I can get to those buttons. I also use 2 expresskey remotes atm since I've been streaming (I am currently moving my stream from Twitch to YT). I like the bezels too. I've reviewed plenty of devices so I know its not hard to work around but I felt like maybe they could have kep it just thick enough for the express key remote. Now, of course you have the side panel option and you can likely just use some velcro. Its not like the expresskey remote wont work, you just need the driver.

    • @MaskedMammal
      @MaskedMammal Год назад

      @@CreateNowSleepLater I kind of thought that an arm would be the best/only way to actually get a good angle gripping those buttons, actually. I'm not really sure what mounting a Cintiq on an arm feels like because the 16 Pro was left out of all the cool features. Mine just awkwardly hangs off the front of my desk with the legs keeping it up and the butt resting on my keyboard tray.

    The touch toggle is next to the power button? That's dumb.
    Big bezels are important. Small bezels are dumb. What the hell, Wacom? My (silent) Dell Canvas 27 is still superior. Even at QHD.
    That pro pen 3 is cool, however. About time they produced a not-stupid pen.

    • @CreateNowSleepLater
      @CreateNowSleepLater  Год назад +2

      No, its goes power > display toggle > touch toggle. I couldnt fit the labels in a row. I think I'm with you on the bezels. I have chronic pain so I have to rest my 24 on my chair arms. Now for devices I reviewed, I did have them all on an arm and it was fine but I lose room to my arm. So if I bought this, I'm sure it would be fine but I would waste the three extra inches anyway. You know they will refresh the other models at some point too. I don't know. That price tag is steep.

    • @MarkOakleyComics
      @MarkOakleyComics Год назад +1

      @@CreateNowSleepLater Dell put the touch toggle on the Left side, and the power button way over on the Right.
      Being a bit of a ham handed idiot, I appreciate that. When I do accidentally turn off my drawing board monitor, Windows has a small panic sorting out which monitors do what, and Clip Studio loses track of how cursor input is supposed to work to the point where I need to do a full system re-start. I basically never turn off any screens, but I use that touch toggle feature dozens of times per session. Touch is awesome on the Dell, but it does get in the way when I'm typing or using a physical ruler.)
