    Great product!
This is on my to buy list for sure. At the moment I have a huion 22 pro and it gets the job done, but I gotta say that I'm not very happy with it. The thing I hate the most about it is the screeching sound it makes when I draw on it, it give me goose bumps. The way I go around that is to blast my earphones way up when listening to music and drawing. I guess it was supposed to mimic the feel and the sound of a real pencil on paper, that's not even close.
I have to mention that I've tried all the wacom products including all the cintiqs and to be honest they weren't too far from that screeching sound either.(in South Korea they have a wacom store where you can try all of them before you buy). From what I've heard, you are supposed to use the pen for a while to kind of smooth out the screen.
I'm hoping this time drawing on the cintiq 27' screen won't give me goose bumps from the screeching, If it does then I'm not buying it.
Also what that lady said about the iPad is not true. I own a 12.9 5th generation and it's actually pretty smooth, no scratchy feeling from it.

@@Janos.Artzone I went to the store the test it out and I was very pleasantly surprised.
The squeaking sound I was talking about is completely gone, I even put my ear next to the pen while drawing and Ididn't hear a thing, it's as smooth as butter.
Zooming and rotating are still very laggy, coming from an iPad pro where everything is seamless I expect a product that costs this much to be on point with the gestures built-in.
I'm pretty sure the engineers who worked on this have seen and touched an ipad or any tablet for that matter and they should know how seamlessly everything works when you rotate and zoom in and out .
They shouldn't charge so much for something that is so laggy ( hand gestures only speaking )knowing that the gestures are not quite there yet.
It looks premium no doubt about that, but the gestures are not there yet and therefore it doesn't feel premium. You might say I'm so pretentious but when you consider the price on this tablet you want to get the best of everything, no compromises.
I'd rather pay this amount of money for a complete product that matches other iPads or Samsungs out there than pay for something that kind of works.

@@saint272009 thanks for sharing. Sure the lag came from the device, sounds a bit more of a PC problem

Hi, Chris, I didn't find your comment above at ALL pretentious. In fact that has helped me out ENORMOUSLY as I've been trying to decide whether or not to buy this or not, and it is a LOT of money. I have seen reviews that said the touch on it is better than last gen touch screen Cintiq Pros, which is what I want. So I was thinking it would be on a par with, or near to, the touch experience I have on my iPad 12.9 2020 pro.
Now I know otherwise I won't be shortlisting this, and will instead wait for the reviews on the upcoming Huion Kamvas Studio 24 and Studio 16 which both have touchscreen.
A big thumbs up to you, Chris, you've just saved me from potentially making a purchase I would have really regretted. Cheers!

@Bob James Hey James! I'm glad I could help.
I've seen the new Huion tablets demoed on their instagram page. The touch functionality on the 16-inch seemed ok to me, but the 24-inch one didn't look too good.

What I'd really love is a 22 inch Cintiq Pro. I don't need 27" of screen space, and since the prices are sky high, I only want to pay for what's necessary
Right now the first Cintiq Pro below 24" is the 16. And that really sucks

It looks nice. I like the new features, but as usual Wacom is expensive. It's not time for a Wacom for me yet. Maybe some day.

I tried their topline screen out at pax and it felt pretty great to use but I wouldn't say it's a game changer. I have a Huion pro 24(?) 4k and the difference between this and that was the lack of buttons and back paddles first of all, and the screen felt softer against the pen on the Wacom.
It's definitely good but if you want to save a few g's I don't know about spending all that for a slight margin of comfort

i hope they make another intuos pro with the pro pen 3 since its hard for me to draw on a screen , an oversized fat pen grip replacement (like the tombow egg fountain pen/mooman q1 type of grip) for people that have arm injuries like me.

  • @mentalbreak

that pen looks pretty cool but i wonder if they're ever make their own version of the apple pencil, something with a wide nib so you can go on the side of your pencil.

*This isn't a game changer. Sorry. Want to draw better but do digital? Do traditional drawing* . No need to get fancy or expensive. Use printer paper. Finishing, a ream of 500 sheets will improve your mind-eye-hand-coordination. You don't even need fancy pencils. Even the cheapest mechanical or regular HB pencils are more than sufficient. Just draw on those 500 sheets. Use a cheap clipboard and you can easily put 50 sheets of printer paper. Just draw. I can guarantee that your digital art will improve as well as art is a complex skill mixing your brain and motor skills.

This is just a tool though, it's for professionals who need this product. If people are new to this, i think they're more likely to know already not to buy expensive stuffs first.
Also some things about drawing traditionally and digitally feels different, and it's a whole different skills too

It just a tool. People bought this because they want to start fresh as a new digital artist (i one of them).
Me too drawing traditionally until my parent mistook my artworks bundle as paper scrap, then trash them away. 40+ pieces worth of my (selected) drawing sketches, all in trash LOL
