    hi guys! wanted to let you guys know huion is gonna debut a 27 inch pro model (with many upgrades like touch screen) so I would say hold off buying a wacom until then!

    Awesome review and thanks for reminding me of the refurbished Macs!
    I’m waiting for my 24” 4K Kamvas - been using a 24” 2K XP-Pen and well… 2K is NOT nice when you’re used to hi-res screens! It’s doable… but painful.

    Great review!
    One thing about the chromatic aberration on the tablet is that it's also related to pixel density. So the higher the resolution, or smaller the display size, the higher the pixel density is, which means more sparkle / chromatic aberration. Which is why I recommend against buying a 4k 16 inch display. Those ones are rainbow vomit all over the screen.

    I had the fringe issue with my new 22 plus and almost sent it back after playing with the osd and software settings. I just reset the monitor and used a calibrite display pro to build a color profile and it looks great. Most lower end display panels get weird outside of their native operating tolerance. I calibrate to d50 and 100 luminance as personal preference for print work. This little 1080 display matches my calibrated imac really well. If predictable color is important, calibrate the monitor with a profile.

    Thank you...I have the 16 inch Huion and I really like it.
    I want the 24 inch because I do so much detail work that the larger size will be so helpful...
    I was wavering but watching your video...
    I am going to give it a try...I have nothing to lose.
    Thank you for the rgb settings..

      RVincents , The size difference is really noticeable when you sit down to use the 24 compared to the 16 . If you have any questions feel free to ask us , no worries. Glad we could help you out.

      @mosscharmly thank you so much.
      My biggest question and need is about color accuracy and ease of calibration. Does the 24 inch 4kb offer the ability to tweak my colors better than the 16 inch 2k?

    • @mosscharmly
      @mosscharmly  17 дней назад

      Hello again , Both of the tablets firmware/onboard ui for controls and customizing the RGB Profiles are are the same on both tablets. Calibrating the the tablets will be a very similar experience but the 24 has a much wider color range (to the eye) than the 16. The difference might be do to the finish of the etched glass because they are slightly different. The only way we can explain it is the 16 has a denser or more opaque finish then the 24. We hope this helps you out a little.

    well,... I just purchased the Kamvas 24 Plus. I'm not a pro, so I don't think I'll miss the 4K, but I did purchase for its larger size. I don't want to be struggling with small icons or having to zoom in. $788.99 folks, on sale from Huion. No tax and no shipping cost! Thanks for your videos, they helped me make a good decision. Also, the 24 Pro 4K is on sale untill monday.

    I have almost the same setup. Your earlier review was one of the reasons I got one for myself. The Huion has been great to me. Had a hiccup with firmware and it killed the digitizer, but Huion came through. I was wondering, do you have the same issue of the Huion turning on and off infinitely when the Mac tries to sleep? If so, how do I solve that?

    I bought a Wacom 22 Pro and returned it. It is nice, but it is not 3000k nice. I'd set the price point at 1500.00 for the 22. I now have a Huion RDS-220 and I really like it.

    I have the 16 Plus of this same device and I'm probably going to toss it and get a Wacom. I'm not sure which one yet. The blue on the Huion is really wrong, at least it is on my device. it basically looks like blue on every screen I can find, but on the Huion it is magically now purple because Huion has made a deal with the color genie and jinxed the whole thing.

    Hi Guys, I wanna ask about the parallax on this model.. I have the Kamvas 16 pro (model - GT156, which I think it's the first 16" model), and the parallax is a bit annoying especially when the cursor is about 2" from the sides. I wonder if there's a better improvement for the parallax, and maybe you guys got the opportunity to try the latest model?
    I'm planning to upgrade my graphic tablet to a bigger size, and 16" is already too small for my eyes

    I bet after messing those LEDs up, and putting the scratch in the glass, you were extra grateful not to have bought the Wacom pen displays! Could you imagine doing that to those!? I do wish you guys had commented on whether you had considered going with the Huion 24 Plus, and if so, why you opted for the 4K instead.

    My Cintiq just broke (it was ten years old) so now I'm looking at different replacement options. The thing that worries me with the non-Wacom models is how long they last and whether tech support is available..Like I said, my Cintiq was ten years old, which is a pretty good run.. I don't want to spend all that money, it breaks within five years, and the only solution is to throw it away. I know Wacom is.a reliable brand, I'm just not sure about Huion and XP-pen.

      Hello ashram12, The Huion's we have are going to be three in October of this year and they are still holding up with no problems so far. Tech support with Huion really has not bin any thing we have had to deal with but we have herd that they are receptive. If you are looking for other options for a replacement to you're Cintiq you might look at Xencelabs . The Xencelabs Pen Display 16 is a tablet we have bin considering. We hope we helped a little.

    This is my first 4k tablet, I think it's worth it, it's very pleasant to work, I don't regret that I bought it)
    After 16 inches, it's a fairy tale! 4k resolution is justified, since you are sitting very close to the tablet, drawing as on paper there is no difference.
    When drawing, the whole hand is involved, not just the brush, very convenient, no discomfort.
    I found out for myself that it was impossible for me to painfully draw on a small tablet, I spent much more energy going nowhere.
    There are 2k tablets on sale, and xp pen are much cheaper, I think they are also great, it's good that the Chinese have learned how to do good things!

      Hello matka5130 . If you so get it with out a monitor arm we recommend HUION ST100A Stand to give it a little more adjustability when drawing. it is also very big so make sure you have the desk space for it. One more thing the screen is 60 Hz it doesn't feen slow at all and we use ipads with procreat at 120Hz. It is all about the ram definitely 16gb min with room to grow. We hope this helps have a grate day.

    • @mosscharmly
      @mosscharmly  Месяц назад +1

      We definitely recommend the Huion Kamvas pro 24. We do not regret purchasing them to this day. In October of this year it will be our daily driver for 3 years. We have worked them hard. The Kamvas 24 is the only display we use. The tablets are connected to our mac pc's and our linux pc's.
      We have some recommendations if you choose the Kamvas Pro 24. You should purchase the Huion ST100A adjustable drawing tablet stand and a longer usbc4 cable at least 6ft. It comes with a usbc cable that is very very short.
      The tablet was a little too saturated so we had to calibrate it to get it right. We also keep the brightness below 80 because the chromatic aberration of the screen due to the etched glass became a little too distracting. The rainbow sparkle affect is normal for tablets with etched glass. It may be really weird at first but it eventually feels normal. It disappears when you are working.
      We also found that scaling the resolution from 3840x2160(4k) to 2560x1440(2k) made the Kamvas pro 24 better to use. All the ui was readable when set to 2k.
      It is a big tablet so make sure you have the desk space.
      If you were thinking of other products as an option Xencelabs Pen Display 16 Bundle may be a good choice if you want something portable . It is the next one we will buy. The Xppen artist 16 gen2 is also a nice option but you do have to buy their portable electronic device stand.
      One last thing, the Huion Kamvas 24 Plus 2.5k QHD is something to look at if you want the same functionality as the Kamvas pro 24 4k at a lower price. Like we mentioned before we have the resolution set to 1440(2k) it is a more pixel dense screen than the 24 Plus so a 4k screen set to 2k means we can’t see the pixels at 2k.
      We hope this helps and if we had to buy the kamvas pro 24 again it would be a definite yes.

    Untill these dogsht tablets have proper delay and not feel like 200 ping they wont ever be good or close to pleasure to draw on, for now the only good and actually worth and available option is ipad pro 2024 in procreate(best app for delay), adobe fresco, the closest thing other than that is samsung s9 but only in Notes aplication so its worthless. Idk how Mobile tech is better than PCs but it is and its kind of sad that nobody gives a f.k about it
