    Thank you for the review vid. I'm planning to buy this and contemplating between the original stand or vesa.

    Thanks for this very comprehensive review! I managed to find one for a good price recently, the screen is great, the feel of drawing on the surface is very comfortable. Not a fan of the new pen tho, prefer the pro pen 3d. The only gripe I have is the fan noise, my goodness it's loud, louder than my PC - I hope they release a software update to allow for a fan curve or a low setting when the room temp is low.

    I'm not impressed, its a big improvement over everything that wacom has to offer but not enough to justy a 5k euro upgrade for me and I think to anyone else who already has a decent drawing display lol.

      What drawing display tablet with an accurate color calibration would you recommend?

    • @jameselrick6698
      @jameselrick6698 Год назад

      @zkme Huion Tablets have been coming up recently, and have pretty damn close Adobe rgb color correction. I'd say either Huion or Wacom have good color accuracy imo, both cheap and mid tier tablets

    • @JansifyArt
      @JansifyArt Год назад

      @@jameselrick6698 What you're talking about is color range not calibration which most of the good brands (wacom, xp pen and huion basically) cover but good color accuracy is not just the range itself.
      You could calibrate it yourself though either with a colorimeter (much cheaper) or a spectrometer (much more expensive) and as far as im aware you will need to do this either way even on the wacom because CC changes over time with not much you can do about it.
      That said barely anyone needs this level of accuracy ever especially if you're only working digitally anyways, if you're working with it for printing purposes it might be worth it for that (also only if you already do it professionally though).

    Great Video Pablo, it is quite informative. Thanks for the review! I have decided to buy a 27”, and now that I have watched your video I really need the flex arm, but Wacom does not sale a Wacom Flex Arm for the 27” anymore. I was wondering if you know if the “Wacom Flex Arm for Cintiq Pro 24 & 32” will work for the 27”?

    •  8 месяцев назад +1

      Glad to hear this helped! Sure, I think you could use any 'monitor arm' as long as they have a VESA 100 and VESA 75 mount which I think both are compatible with the Cintiq 27" - This might be just in the EN-AU store but they still have it: estore.wacom.com/en-au/ergotron-lx-monitor-arm.html

    no comment about the faster 120 Hz refresh rate ? Is it not noticeable compared to the old 27"QHD ?

    hey Pablo! recently i decided to buy this cintiq! and it's really awesome, a big update from cintiq 24 pro! the touch on photoshop is almost flawless! Just one more question here, are u using direct connection with usb-c? I am noticing some random freezing ( the pen and touch stop working ) did this happened with u?

      it sounds like a driver's issue. I have it plugged using the Display port.

    I bought it and returned it. Its a nice pen display but it was giving me too many issues for its price. Updating the drivers gave me the blue screen of death and it would just loop until I disconnected it and re plugged it to get it to work again. Once I turned off a different monitor and I was having issues with the Wacom display and soon after blue screen of death again. Also, the colors are nicer but it doesn't matter much because it has an anti scratch matte screen over it. Its like putting an anti glare coat on an OLED TV. The OLED TV may have the best colors but putting an anti glare coat is going to affect it and that's the same thing with this newer version. If you want complete accurate colors use a different monitor. The best thing this newer Wacom Display has was its pen feel. It does feel really nice and with 120hz but that's mostly what your're paying for.

      Thanks for the honest comment review. I been looking at videos of this tablet and all seem like they were paid off by wacom. Even for a pro artist that gets income from their art I just can't justify a 3.5k investment if its not head and shoulders above the previous tablets.

    Hey Pablo, como se llama el aparato con la ruedita que tienes al lado de la tableta?...la recomiendas para ilustradores?...me refiero a que la Cintiq esa no tiene la ruedita como si la tenian los modelos anteriores, y yo la usaba mucho para hacer zoom , o rotar la pantalla

    •  8 месяцев назад

      humm no se si te refieres al 'EK remote' o 'Express Keys' the las cintiq viejas. Ese apartato es simplemente un add-on the bluetooth osea que igual sirve con la cintiq 27" (es cuetion de conectar el dongle y ya). La cintiq 27" tiene los Express keys atras y es mucho mas ergonomica.

    The Huion Kamvas 24 4K is a way better option than this. 1. Actually affordable, 2. Color accurate 3. Light weight 4. Great drawing feeling 5. No driver issues whatsoever. Wacom must be out of their mind asking 5000$ for a glorified Drawing Display. Theyre not as good as their prices would suggest. I remember the 32" 4K Display was a disaster.

    • @dpptd30
      @dpptd30 9 месяцев назад +1

      The Kamvas 24 doesn't have 4K, only 1440p, you're talking about the Kamvas Pro 24, which still doesn't have a touchscreen with 120hz refresh rate, and it doesn't cover both 99% ARGB and 98% P3, and the pen have way more parallax and are less accurate than the Cintiq. I know that because I own a Kamvas Pro 13 and the parallax and accuracy sucks so much that I just gone back to my iPad with an Apple pencil, which is way more accurate, and the touch gestures basically replaced 6 express keys at once: zoom in and out, undo and redo, and rotate left or right, plus one extra on the pen to pan around. They are not really comparable at all, and with the Cintiq and the same touch gestures on Windows, it just makes the drawing experience 3x better than without touch.
      I'm never buying cheap Chinese alternatives anymore after this, especially when they use deceptive advertisement of 140% sRGB which isn't even a valid measurement for gamut coverage and is only a valid measurement for color volume which says nothing about gamut coverage, it doesn't even show how much P3 and ARGB gamut it covers on their official website, neither does it show the delta E accuracy measurement. All Chinese tech brands are rip-offs of big brands like Wacom, Samsung, Sony, and Apple, just being cheaper because they don't have to spend the R&D in order to compete unfairly, that's all they've ever done to "innovate": rip off or steal someone else's tech so they can price theirs cheaper, and I'm saying this as a Chinese myself, we know how our brands operates, they always rip off from other foreign brands. I rather not support Chinese rip-offs and instead get the brand that actually invented EMR technology in the first place and which also still have the better tech behind their product.

    I complain almost always about the new design of the tablet. First, I don't agree. The tablet looks awfully cheap. When I saw it, I thought it was another nameless copy. Second - you say how everything is new and convenient, but you have never used it. No buttons behind, no keyboard on top. The keyboard on top is the most uncomfortable thing I've ever seen. Perhaps the insides of the tablet and primal for professionals. But the design on the outside will make your hands fall off after the first day of work.

    • @MikeFloresTattoo
      @MikeFloresTattoo Год назад +3

      I had the old 32 inch cintiq and I ended up selling to a friend later on because the touch was useable and the color was off and it was way too dim. I just didn’t like it. I much preferred using my iPad because it felt way more natural.
      I now have the new 27 pro and the changes to it I feel are way better from unusable to very usable. I first received it thinking it was also way to dim and my fear came true but the setting to change the brightness fixed that instantly. Touch is still far from perfect but definitely in the usable area instead of just turning touch off like I did on the 32 cintiq. And I have it paired right under a Apple pro xdr monitor and the colors are wayyyy more color accurate to where I don’t have to worry about my colors being off anymore.
      In my case I’m very happy with my upgrade so far and fixes a lot of issues with the cintiq line up. Price is still crazy high but I like investing in my work. ps. (A nice tax Deduction doesn’t hurt either 🫡) lol

      @@MikeFloresTattoo Wow awesome feedback, i keep hearing the fans are a bit louder on the new cintiq but again is a big monitor, what can you expect. I was going to sell my Wacom Cintiq Pro 32 4k UHD but i rather just keep it, plus I like draw over the edge that I don't see with this new one. Is really not much of an upgrade. I wish Apple had their own version of the Wacom Cintiq. I can agree drawing on an iPad feels seamless and beautiful to draw, if they can only adapt some of Wacom's pen pressure technology with macOS it will be wicked sick.

      @@Jaugarez it doesn't hurt to get another monitor that's meant for color accuracy like the BenQ PD3200U, but the Cintiq Pro 32 has 99% Adobe color accuracy so it should be more than good enough. @@MikeFloresTattoo I'm sorry but what??? Apple pro xdr colors was one of the main selling points for that crazy 5k. Plus that is a 10 bit display. You should get your monitor calibrated if you think the wacom is that much better. I would not be happy to spend 5k on a monitor that has that issue.
