Man that's such a worth investment, just the fact that you can now declutter your table when you want and also use the keyboard under it, it's awesome. Right now I'm using the nintendo switch Joy-con for shortcuts but it's not as optimal as a keyboard.
WARNING, WARNING! Take great care with that little lever at the bottom centre of the stand that allows you to adjust the position of the monitor. Its actually connected inside by the tiniest amount of plastic that can snap off really easily and give you a £450 (UK) headache because you'll be left with either a really nasty sharp piece of metal protruding from the base or a replacement base. I found it best to take the weight of the monitor when adjusting the angle ...... Just before using the side wing adjusters push the monitor itself beck slightly to take the weight off the black lever before pushing it to release, make sure you are taking the weight of the monitor with one hand before using the side adjusters.
Dude, this is super helpful. I was literally having the same reservations you were having with the two options. You solidified your decision on the Ergo Stand. Great video and much appreciated!
Haha yeah I'm sorry to keep you all waiting. To make a character and a video at the same time takes a lot of work. Doing my best to get it out :) Thank you for your support.
I stumbled upon this video after going down the rabbit hole of recommendations after researching the Intuos Pro. Just wanted to chime in and say that if anyone else encounters this situation and is worried about the desk, just remember that so long as the clamp opens wide enough, you can easily reinforce your desk by placing an extra piece of wood below it (or ideally above if you can get some with a decent finish on it). This is the go-to method for reinforcing desks when mounting multi-monitor stands that might have 3+ 27" monitors on them, and should save you a fairly huge amount of space.
Fantastic tip, thanks so much. That is really useful to know! Yeah I would have had to put it above because I have some wire tamer trays below. Nice to know there is a solution though.
I have the 24, and I’m sending the ergo back. The stand is everything you say it is, but for me, it simply took up too much space. When in the lap position, it covers my drawer (can’t open it). When it’s lowered on the desktop, it sits too high - you must be 6-4 or taller if you can comfortably able to draw on this in that position. If I were only drawing on my tablet, and not using my computer for many other things, then yes, this is a great product and worth every penny. But that not being the case, it’s too obtrusive for my needs.
Hey, would you kindly put the dimensions for the base here? I am trying to find it so I can design a custom desk for it, but there's no info whatsoever about it!
Hey brother, sorry for the late reply but here is the footprint on the desk in terms of actual contact with a table. A touch over 18.5 x 16 inches. Hope that helps!
Thank you! Ironically can't find the Ergo Stand on Wacom store anymore. That's sad, I have my 32 here sitting just waiting until I get the proper stand!
Hey bro it's been a while how big is your table? I'm also getting a Jarvis stand from Fully, but buying a countertop to go on top of it instead of the tops they supply. I'm only asking because since we last spoke I too have a Cintiq pro 32 now. I was looking ot get a 82" wide and looking at your vid I can't tell what size it is
Hey bud, I got the 72x30 inch. Not a bad idea, 82" would be great. The cintiq eats SO MUCH of my desk space lol. More details in my other video here, ruclips.net/video/FbhEteKFc5I/видео.html
@@MANIAKRA thanks bro been a while just told my girl you always responded with the quickness and here we are nearly a year later after we spoke point proven. Thanks again gonna watch now
Thanks so much for this. I've been in very much the same situation as you with the same doubts. I'm about to buy a cintiq and I've been unsure what to get, but as a tall person (6'4'') as well who likes to stand sometimes I'm certain the arm wouldn't reach high enough for me. This just looked right, despite the price, but the reviews I'd seen were putting me off. But yours confirms all of my hopes with it. I've currently got an ipad pro on a wooden easel on top of 6 thick books, and have my keyboard perched awkwardly at the side. People have been saying you can only have two angles, and I assumed they meant to tilt it (which sounds terrible), but now I realise you can tilt it to any angle, but what they mean is there are two locking positions (forwards or upright). Anyway thanks. Happy art making
Thank you for watching! To be clear: its true, the arms can only "lock" to 2 positions, but once locked, you can still tilt the Cintiq around the little arm handle axis. I was most worried about this restrictive positioning, but it has been MUCH better than I expected, and I think most people will be able to find a comfortable position with this. Good luck!
I can relate to the keyboard issue, I use all those shortcuts. Another option would have been to attach one of those keyboard sliding shelves underneath the table.
I'm right there where you were on being undecided - the Wacom arm or this stand? I think you've helped me decide the "bounce" of the arm would be just too annoying and also as you said, who really draws at so many angles and positions? That would be a cool added option if there was no bounce, but there is. Just out of curiosity, you’ve now had this for 6 months. Any regrets? I’d also ask the same of the 32” pro versus the 24”. I’ve seen comments about the surface texture being better on the 24”. That, and it only gets 3 starts on Amazon?
Hi David, glad I could help you come to a decision! I have no regrets with this stand. It took me a while, but I can safely say I am now fully operational and fluent with the 32 Cintiq Pro + Ergo Stand. I love it. The cintiq is still MASSIVE, and in SOME WAYS I think 32 inches might be too big. I suspect I may have more maneuverability on the 24, and be able to reach the upper half region of the screen more comfortably. With that said, I still love this thing. As you can see in this video my BenQ monitor was my Primary Display and my Cintiq was secondary - I have since changed this setup so that the Cintiq is my PRIMARY display. This makes it much more convenient to use, and something I would recommend if you have more than one monitor. I can't speak to the surface of the 24", but I highly doubt the surface is made out of a different material - I highly highly doubt that. As for the 3 Stars on Amazon, maybe people are disappointed their art hasn't improved. Beware: the Cintiq does NOT innately make you a better artist. It's just a tool that allows for more convenience. So don't fall into that trap. Hit me up if you want to know more. Thanks for watching.
Hello, after the unbox, is it possible to and fold it to make it easier to transport? I am considering buying it in the US, but I want to bring it to Brazil, so this huge box is a big problem... THanks
Good question, no I don't think you can fold it like a lawn chair to make it easier to travel, BUT you can just dis-assemble it into smaller pieces in your suit case. It might be easier to keep in the box :( Depends if you are driving or flying by plane.
MANIAKRA thank you for your input! I’ll take it by plane, will try to fold or disassemble the best way, try to get rid of the styrofoam and place between my cloths on the luggage. If I find it hard I’ll keep the box and board as extra luggage. Thanks!
Excellent! Now that you have a lot of time using it. It's too big the 32? or if better 24 or 27? What is your experience on the perfect size to work in the most efficient way? I have to buy someone, so your help and experience can help me! Thanks in advance!
Daniel Kopalek Hey there, for almost anyone I would recommend the 24 Cintiq (there is no 27 of the new model). The 32 is too big for most people and especially if you are using it with another monitor too. 24 is comfortable! Good luck
1:20 holy shit that punchline rap contenders here we go I love your reviews cause you always address what we most wonder about and the doubts we have, i just wish we could actually see you use it (with the stand-up desk as well) to have a better visual idea of how it's like. Also good ASMR moment opening that cardboard.
Welp, that settles it. I've been looking for this exact video, jarvis desk legs and Cintiq pro. It's like this video was meant for me to watch. I currently own the Mobilestudio pro 16 and was considering buying the 32pro, I was concerned that it might too big of a jump form 16 to 32", so decided to go with the 24 pro touch. Whichever one I go with, I know it is a device which will last for years long long after the Mobilestudio pro's hardware is outdated, I will be happy with it. Thanks!

@@MANIAKRA right on, thanks for replying! I might have asked this before but I'm still in the middle of setting my home studio up, just have to finish up setting up the audio and I'll be all set. I'm debating right now to either get a Shure SM7B Mic or a RE20 mic.

Great review! Thanks. Just got a Cintiq 24” today and love it!! Think i may go with the same solution as you did, as i like the stability. Do you do video editing on it an how is it?
Congrats on your Cintiq :) Glad to hear you enjoy it. I do video editing on my 2nd monitor (BenQ), but when not using the Cintiq it functions as a beautiful display too. I'm sure its good for that.
Love your to the point videos unlike people who keep dragging them and still have no substance. Btw how did you decide to go for 32" over 24" Cintiq? I just can't decide!!!!
Haha I really appreciate this comment. I mean, I do my best to get to the point. I don't want to waste anyone's time OR my own just for clickbait or popularity. I do this because I love my work and the industry I'm in. I decided to go for the 32" because anything smaller just doesn't justify having 4k resolution to me - you want to be able to SEE the difference. For example there is still the Wacom 27QHD cintiq available, and although its not 4k, the 3 more inches it has on the 24 Pro would kinda compensate, and people can just get that instead and save thousands. So the 24 seemed more like a sidegrade than a definitive upgrade. Then the other aspect us just the thrill of knowing you have something state of the art with the 32. Thanks for question!
Hey man do you know the dimension for the ergo stand? Like especially the black part that's on the desk? I'm thinking of purchasing a cintiq pro 32 myself but I'm not too sure if it'll be the right size for my current desk. Thanks for your time.
@@MANIAKRA That just confirms it that my desk is too small and that the Cintiq Pro 32"and 24" ergo stand black base is the same size since I just measured the base of the Cintiq Pro 24" over at Vistek today in Edmonton, AB, which has the same dimension of 16" and 18 3/4". Most likely the back end (the grey part with the swivel) would be the size that differentiates from the 2 since it lines up on the sides of the Cintiq monitor. This wouldn't have been an issue if Wacom gave the dimensions of the whole thing when it's been put together (full height, weight, etc.) so thanks for the quick reply.
Thank you... Great video..!!! Hey, when you release the arms with the lower central button can you lock the arms in a middle angle ? I've seen several video where they show the maximum height and the lowest point on the incline angle, but non where the arms ar at the middle. I guess that I'm asking is if the adjustment is infinitely variable?
I'm pretty certain you can't have it locked in the middle. I've seen someone have it half way with the cintiq resting on the desk or their lap but it's not locked and supported.
Awesome videos. You're making me want the 32". I've heard a lot of complains about it though. Do you have an issues with screen ghosting in particular? It seems like video playback and moving things around on a grey background are particularly unpleasants.
Jordan Jardine hey thanks Jordan, I appreciate it! I’m a pretty picky person and I have to say I have no complaints about the cintiq 32. I haven’t noticed ghosting, although I might have to re check what the definition of ghosting is. Grey bgs? I’ll keep an eye out for it. Historically I never played video games on it, but I got lazy and started doing some FPS gaming on it. I notice a bit of a halo maybe on the edges sometimes but it’s really not very obvious, perhaps that’s what you mean. In either case trust me it won’t drive you crazy.
lol I def understand it may feel that way, and sorry for that! As mentioned I'm super busy on a job right now but I'll be free at the end of the month, at which time finishing the next 2 parts is my top priority.
Hi Sarang, I personally recommend the ergo stand - it's strong as a rock ad there is NO wobling. I think you have to be sure you really want the ergo arm range of motion because I guarentee it will woble. Thanks for watching!
@@MANIAKRA Thanks, I spotted the G in the upper corner and figured it out from there. I am typing on one right now. Nice bright back-light and the keys have a real nice feel. Thanks for the video, I have the same concerns you did about using an arm. I think the Ergo stand will be a better option for me. Thanks for the info.
thanks so much for the video, it's super helpful and I enjoy your commentary haha. I was wondering, how well do you think the 32" would perform as a main monitor, having 2 large monitors on my desk would be overkill so I'm tossing up between getting the 24" cintiq for a dual monitor set-up or just having the one 32" cintiq and adjusting it to a drawing angle when needed so i can save space on my desk.
I've been using the 32" for a main monitor for about 8 months now - and it works! It's nice because you can clean up your workspace. I did recently switch back to having 2 monitors, because you do start to miss that "reference"screen. The 32 is frigging HUGE when you include the bevel. I would actually probably recommend the 24" for most people, especially if u prefer 2 screens. Thx for comment!
@@MANIAKRA thank you so much!! It's been a huge help, after much debate I'm gonna opt for the 24" with an arm after all! Also, you're dope, gonna check out your other videos and sub, thanks again.
Nope! It's solid. The one thing I will say is that the rotation is pretty sensitive, almost too sensitive in my opinion. But for straight on use it's great.
Hey man on the other thread you wrote the following- "....having two 32” killed my desk space completely. It is a factor, I kinda miss my desk. So for someone else I may recommend 32 monitor and 24 Cintiq. " What is your view now? I am having such a hard time pulling the trigger. I can afford the 32" Cintiq but not sure if I deserve it :-) I am 5' 8" midget, I wonder if it would be like a baby in front of a TV lol
If you ever get a chance to see a 32" TV screen or monitor, it'd be like being able to draw on that. I am in the same boat as you but the size and full weight of it on my current desk is what is holding me back. I have enough funds to buy it but not enough to replace my desk
Hmm I'm not super familiar with this term, and I looked it up, but I can't say that I am experiencing anything like that. Are you concerned generally or are you planning to game on it?
@@MANIAKRA I just bought this cintiq pro 32 and see some mornitor ghosting then I ask support about this they said it is a ghosting problem with this 32 pro model but not with 24 pro model.
Still waiting for part three!!
Harvey baldry yes sir I know!
only one question,
just how height s your desk. ?
I m also 6'2 but when I did the same setting like yours, it still too height for me
You are never going to release part 3 do you
lol I def understand it may feel that way, and sorry for that! As mentioned I'm super busy on a job right now but I'll be free at the end of the month, at which time finishing the next 2 parts is my top priority.
@@MANIAKRA I am very happy to hear that and also congrats with your job
MANIAKRA Can’t wait!
Thanks for reviewing, what you suggest for 32 pro.. ergo arm or ergo stand..is there any wobling issue in ergo arm for 32 pro.., thanks
Hi Sarang, I personally recommend the ergo stand - it's strong as a rock ad there is NO wobling. I think you have to be sure you really want the ergo arm range of motion because I guarentee it will woble. Thanks for watching!
@@MANIAKRA thanks, for sharing your experience, which makes my desision firm about ergo stand, thanks again
Solid it is. Massive! 45 lbs!
Hey what fonts is that? in the video that’s cool
What keyboard are using? I am liking the bright back-light.
Yeah its pretty cool! I'm using the Logitech G610 Orion. Simple mechanical keyboard.
Wish there was a refurbished one available.
Finally youtube recommended great video and subscribed
Thanks Juny :) Yeah it's weird I've been getting a lot more traffic these days.
Get up and Master it!!!
33:27 asmr 🥰🥰🤗🤗
So, does it wiggle when you use it?
Nope! It's solid. The one thing I will say is that the rotation is pretty sensitive, almost too sensitive in my opinion. But for straight on use it's great.
Nice review! Any jiggle at all?
karassnyc Thanks! Nope, stable as a rock.
Hey man on the other thread you wrote the following-
"....having two 32” killed my desk space completely. It is a factor, I kinda miss my desk. So for someone else I may recommend 32 monitor and 24 Cintiq. "
What is your view now? I am having such a hard time pulling the trigger. I can afford the 32" Cintiq but not sure if I deserve it :-) I am 5' 8" midget, I wonder if it would be like a baby in front of a TV lol
If you ever get a chance to see a 32" TV screen or monitor, it'd be like being able to draw on that. I am in the same boat as you but the size and full weight of it on my current desk is what is holding me back. I have enough funds to buy it but not enough to replace my desk
Did you have inverse ghosting problem on this Cintiq pro 32 screen?
Hmm I'm not super familiar with this term, and I looked it up, but I can't say that I am experiencing anything like that. Are you concerned generally or are you planning to game on it?
@@MANIAKRA I just bought this cintiq pro 32 and see some mornitor ghosting then I ask support about this they said it is a ghosting problem with this 32 pro model but not with 24 pro model. You can see this problem when moving things around or just go to ufo test and looking for ghosting test and compare the cintiq resault with your regular mornitor.
Thanks for making this one man! I
Is the stand worth it or just get an arm and the adpter?
do you use any screen protectors?
The Price is insane for the stand. I own the Cintiq 22 HD Touch and atleast they gave you a nice stand, now you have to spend $600 more for a stand.
Part 3?
i'm sure its difficult but try putting up some more videos, i enjoy your work, keep it up.
Bro I don't know how you don't have more views! What are you gonna do.. Yoga LMAO! getting mine soon can't wait to see your art video progression
Haha thanks dude. Right on, enjoy!
Are you still working on the spider verse thing?
Yeah it's almost done, took a year but it's actually almost done this time. Was hoping before Valentine's but I'm swamped with work again, we will see!
That’s great take your time, can’t wait :D
really helpful video thankyou 👍🏼
Emm.. unboxing using that scissor sound like AsmR to me
great video thank you very much
Thank you :)
Its 2078 and I'm still waiting for part 3
Haha, appologies - rest assured its coming. I started a sweet new job that is taking up most of my time at moment. Dont worry though I havent forgotten :D
Invest in a box cutter if unboxing is going to be a theme around here!
Haha! Nah unboxing isn't a normal thing - and I would but broke now :D
hi, love your content! though i'm not even remotely knowledgeable about how to make animation, i still thoroughly enjoyed your videos. by the way, have you seen the interview with the animators of spider verse on the WIRED yt channel (published a month ago)? it's pretty informative to watch too!
Hi Rafael! Thanks for the nice comment. Don't worry this stuff is for anyone of any skill level! Yes I've seen pretty much everything Spider-Verse related haha, it's great stuff. Thank you.
@@MANIAKRA what i really like is how they incorporated the animation itself into storytelling. like how miles and peter are on different frame rates in the same scene to show that one is more experienced at web slinging than the other. truly innovative!
It’s been three months since he said that he was gonna post the Spider-Man video And he didn’t. He fucking lied.
Where’s the next spider verse video?
ON hold! I've left a few replies in other comments, but basically I'm in the middle of a lot of work. The video portion has been done for months and I've even begun work on Part 4, but waiting until end of August where I will have much more time to give it the proper attention. Hang tight, I will make it worth it.
Okay thanks man! Super excited for it 😄
I poor you rich !
Just work hard, save money. Anything you want is in reach, you just have to decide it's worth the effort. I am not 'rich'. I have a good life and appreciate what I have, but I wouldn't underestimate or downplay the amount I've worked to achieve what I wanted. If you want something, go get it. Good luck!
;)
Fast forward to 1:40 to skip the filler crap
