- Troops in full military uniform from various military barracks arrived at London's Waterloo Station on Saturday (May 6), on the day of King Charles III's coronation.
Charles will be crowned king on Saturday in Britain's biggest ceremonial event for seven decades, a sumptuous display of pageantry dating back 1,000 years.
Charles succeeded his mother Queen Elizabeth when she died last September and at 74, he will become the oldest British monarch to have the 360-year-old St Edward's Crown placed on his head as he sits upon a 14th century throne at London's Westminster Abbey.

Quite incredible that these 5,000 or so troops all arrive by train to Waterloo Station, in full ceremonial uniforms with Drums, Trombones, Rifles, Bayonets, etc, to then march 3 miles to Buckingham Palace, spend all day on Ceremonial Coronation duties, then march back to Waterloo Station ..... incredible, quite incredible.
Well Done the British Military for such a spectacular event, performed to perfection.

Politics of Bangladesh takes place in a framework of a parliamentary representative democratic republic, whereby the Prime Minister of Bangladesh is the head of government, and of a multi-party system. Executive power is exercised by the government.

Nobody in the town of Chillingbourne wants chuckles as their king - not even one person. 🚫🚫🚫
Really? You've been knocking back too much of the Kentish cider lately, Chillingbourne is a fictional place.
The problem is, he's a better option that Boris Starmer or Sunak.
Not my king
