Chandra 2008 would be leading the charge of disagreement to your statement that maximim ppfd without CO2 supplementation should be around 1000. They found that 86F and 1500ppfd the optimal across Co2 range of 250-750ppm measuring six different aspects of photosynthetic response. They didn't measure flower yield, but link other studies that show a direct correlation between yield and increase of Co2 above ambient. As usual, a beautiful dance of factors as you dive into these studies. Also, when you say EC should increase with light intensity, I'm still at 1.1EC and around 1100ppfd with amazing results... I would claim the availability of that EC at the root zone more important than the EC level itself.

Please advise me. I'm currently using a 2x4 tent with sp3000 lights. In the future I'm planning to move to a 4x4 tent. I would like you to advise me which option I should look at between fc4800 fc6500 sp3000x2. (I'm interested in the fc6500) but How can you advise me? thank you very much

Medic Grow Fold 8 all day long over the spider farmer and Mars Hydro
i have both, just got the new fc6500 - its marginally better - mainly because of the app. until this new one came out i would have agreed with you.
Also i don't get the fold 8 as cheap as most as i live in Australia so the freight on the fold 8 was about 1/4 of the price (an extra $US100) wheareas Mars freight was negligible (they must ship locally) so they end up being around the price. If it weren't for the freight i would stick with the MedicGrow.
The cord/wire set up is way better on this model
The fc-e65000 gotta be one of the best lights ever made. And it's cheap too
What is the best light for 2x4 currently please ?
There are a couple good options. The SP3000 has also changed since I tested it, but still a great light for 2x4. Also check out my video on the Atreum Hydra 3200. Grower Love
