Basically the meaning of what the term "abridged series" sounds like it's referring to. Though considering what we call abridged series ended up being, which is a sort of gag retelling, most would call this sort of video a cross between that and a recap video.

I was watching all the JoJo in sequence so I figured by the time I got to Jolene she would be on a spaceship in the year 2100 or something. I thought her story arc would play out like Sigourney Weaver in Aliens but with more of a Cowboy Bebop flair.
Stone Ocean still turned out to be interesting,
just my imagination was taking it a bit too far.
I really wanna hear CJs interpretion about Pucci and Weather's backstory with the KKK guy cause apparently Pucci isn't black enough to that that KKK doesn't ping him as black but apparently weather does. Seriously Pucci and weather are both probably southern Italian and probably have some African heritage somewhere in the past but Weather is the palest whitest lookin dude in the show despite him and Pucci being twins. I think about that plot point regularly cause it's one of the most inexplicable in whole manga. Idk why Araki was like we need accidental incest and mistaken identity KKK lynchings involving the only character who looks vaguely black accidentally getting the whitest dude in the story lynched. Araki works on another wavelength of reality so I'm not hating it's just a bizarre (ay ohh) decision.
