I started with coffee beans and when I checked the manual it said to only use pre-ground coffee. If you want to grind your own beans you need to purchase a non-pressurised basket, refer below: Tom’s Coffee Corner: “The Delonghi Dedica is already good out of the box, at least with pre-ground espresso. But if you really want to get the best out of it, I suggest at a minimum, upgrading the basket to an IMS one. These are precision made baskets, made in Italy, and allow for a traditional, non-pressurized extraction. Just know that you will also need a decent grinder for this extraction method, too”
Do you guys know if in all packages comes this EcoDecalk liquid to clean the machine? I bought one machine EC685 in red, this week in Poland, but it didn't bring that EcoDecalk little box.

The portafilter is pretty bad and tamper completely unusable. Should factor buying those separately when you purchase this. Aside from that pretty good.

This is a great video! I like how you showed the entire process of making a coffee, rather than just the finished coffee or the basic espresso!

I have tried grinding at 5, 7 and 8 - I can NOT get two shots. Its supposed to be so easy and yet I get weak stupid cappuccino out of it.
