Thank you for posting this video. I am on the brink of purchasing a espresso machine but had worried that the cheaper end of the market would be a wasted investment. Having seen this and how easy it appears to be to use I am a lot happier.
Respectable gentleman. Congrats on your new machine. Best review hands down on the internet very informative very clear precise portioned and detailed with decency and respectable narrative. You sir are a professional.
Many thanks for this video. I'v had the Dedica for a couple of months but the pre-infusion step became intermittent and I needed to send it back to John Lewis. I couldn't figure out how to repack without your video 👍 I am happily down the rabbit hole of bottomless porta filter route and grinding my own beans. 😀
@@DK388 when you are trying to fit it all back together 2 months later to exchange for a replacement it's a real "challenge" to remember where everything goes. New one working perfectly 👍
Been interested in a small form factor coffe maker and this was recomanded. Just a few questions: How noisy it is? How is it now after 6 months? How is the cleaning/ maintanance routine? And for someone that drinks more long expresso than ragular expresso, is it worth it?
Hi, I would say noise level is comparable with similar pump espresso machines, it will be noisy. Cleaning is easy and normally do a full clean end of each day. My plan is to keep this for few years to hone my skills than move up to a bigger espresso machine with standard full size portafilter (58mm). I use mine to make the espresso shots than add hot water from a kettle to make a long black / Americano..
Thanks for this, I've just bought this machine too. How are you getting on with it? It's a lot of trial and error for me so far. I'm thinking about getting some scales so I can be more precise.
Hi, like wise, machine still going strong. Sadly my barista skills have not extended beyond Americano and hot chocolate. Recently been getting into oat milks to mix things up. Have fun experimenting.

I just got mine and thank you for your demonstration how to use the machine.

Good video bro. Was nice to see one from a coffee machine novice like me rather than from someone who has 15 coffee machines !
Very happy with this machine. Good improvements are swapping to open basket, also milk wand upgrade.
Something am definitely looking into getting an open basket filter 👍
Excellent video, great format and very helpful - I think I’m convinced to buy it as a coffee novice too! Thank you so much!
I just ordered one and it's on the way! Thanks sir :)

@@DK388 I use oat milk too! My favourite is Sproud Barista and Oatly
Ace will have to check them out 👍
Hi ! What coffee grounds brand did you use ?
Hi thanks for comment. I am using pre ground coffee by Lavazza espresso italiano classico 👍
