Daymare 1998 is available on PC/Xbox One/PS4. This footage was recorded on a normal PS4.
Daymare 1998 was developed by Invader Studios.
Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 were recorded from the Gamecube version.
Resident Evil HD was recorded on Nintendo Switch.

Amazing video again and yes there are more and more to find out but you did a great job with some really hard ones

My updates are really slow because I've got a little one, so please bear with me.
It feels like Capcom should say something, because there's a lot to appreciate for RE fans. It's cool how they gave Invader Studios members a tour of their offices at least.

Yeah it started as a RE2 fan made remake until Capcom shut it down. They then scrapped everything and came up with their own game. The game is a little janky, but if you like exploration and all the little RE easter eggs I think you'd enjoy it
i still have to play this game at some point, but yes those are awesome easter eggs and definitely keep up the good work, Kai Morgan aka (Ink Ribbon) recommended your videos.

That was a very cool video. So many nice references. It might be a perfect game tech and gameplay, but as a RE fan, I will enjoy it. I think I will start playing it soon. Is there a best version of the game? Or are all versions of the game pretty similar? I could either play the ps4 version on my ps5 or could get a PC version. Which one would you recommend?
Hmm I'd say PC has the best graphics and performance, and DLC I think, which I've never played. It's probably the cheapest or likely to be on sale too.

@@raccooncitycinema Thanks for the info. Well as long as the atmosphere is on spot I can live with the janky aspects of the game. The footage I have seen so far looks quite promising in the atmosphere department. So the chances are quite high that I am going to have fun with it.

Soooooo many easter eggs. I think my favourite is the nod to Silent Hill when getting the "wheres the fog" trophy.

I saw its on sale now on Xbox but sorry I don't know how it runs. I think I remember someone telling me it wasn't optimized for Xbox one x. I imagine there will be some performance issues. I've got a series s and was wondering the same
@@raccooncitycinema yeah I just picked it up for 10 bucks or so. And it wasn't optimized. But Im excited either way! Have you played tormented souls btw? It was a good one too.

And yes I did play Tormented Souls! It was so nostalgic. Hopefully more games like that come out and on console. Although I got stuck so many times I felt like such an idiot 🤣
I’ve seen so many RE Easter eggs on my current playthrough. Like Grill 17 instead of Grill 13.

1st time i ever played re2, was bout 7 or 8, i just spun in a circle and got eaten the first 3 times..i had no clue how to operate tank controls yet😂but definitely a fond memory of my first time wit the series.
Haha same here! And then the next problem was how to fire the gun 😅
And what a way to start the game, with zombies closing in and having to run a gauntlet through the city.
If I remember correctly that was added by the writer Sugimura because originally you just started in the RPD, but it didn't have the same tension.
@@raccooncitycinemaThe fire scenerio introduced urgency and danger the moment you gained control of the character...uncommon in games at that time..even solid snake had moments to hide before the action.
Brief stroll through a chaotic, almost fast paced bit in r.c then rpd changes the tone to near isolation aside from enemies, pacing to slow tension.
No tutorial, no hint box, they assumed we read the manual.
Starting in rpd woulda felt kinda grandiose, elegant almost...

I don't like games without own personality. That's why i never bought Daymare.
These aren't really Easter eggs.
Daymare was originally a fan re2 remake.
They're more so edited content so they could release the game.
I asked one of the developers who said they were all intentional Easter Eggs and nothing was left from the fan remake.
wtf is Daymare
It started out as a fan made remake of RE2 but got shut down by Capcom around the time they announced the official re2 remake. So they created their own original game instead
