Hasbro: "How do you wanna tolerance this figure?"
Manufacturer: *"CHAOS CONTROL"*
Apparently it's basically universal too going by the comments on this video. Another UT Starscream in Legacy with Bad QC.
If I had a Nickle for every time that happened, I'd have two Nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
The “YOUR LIKES” are still getting louder and the “pls give” is getting quieter
edit: i have now 1/9 of prespective end’s like count on this vid
Only seems that way because the Your likes gets so intense.
Unrelated but the kingdom cards are stickers revealing art, the duplicate cards have different artworks with cybertronian text
I could not hear the “please give” if that’s even what he said.
@@PerspectiveEndand the “and subscribe” is the quietest ever
I feel like at some point the YOUR LIKES would be inaudibly loud and the pls giv... Would be inaudibly quiet
This Starscream has the power of God and Anime on it's side. Literally on this case
That is like the ONE thing I know about this Starscream.
@@PerspectiveEnd that's all you need to know
And then he tried to fight God
@@PerspectiveEndThe one difference between this Starscream and G1 is that he has ALL of the arrogance, power hunger, and treachery, but NONE of the cowardice. He will throw down and get shit done. He will take on 14 MAIN CAST AUTOBOTS and through sheer force of will come out victorious. He will shoot Megatron dead-on just for pissing him off. He will tustle with actual literal God just to prove his absolute superiority. This is the one TF show where Starscream truly felt like the end-all-be-all final boss, even if he actually wasn’t.
Don't forget Kiryu Kazuma
I’ve found that putting the gun under slung in vehicle mode makes the jet mode look so cool
Someone else just mentioned that, and it at least fills the gap a little.
Armada gave us a sympathetic Starscream
Cybertron gave us a terrifyingly competent Starscream
G1 Starscream : "You sucx, Megatron!!!"
Armada Starscream : "You could've done better, Megatron!!!"
Cybertron Starscream : "I'm better than you, Megatron!!!"
Santa: What would you like for Christmas? Perspectives fans: I want PerspectiveEnd to review OG Armada Optimus Prime
If it's an actual review it's not a problem, but the half minute look backs I do with these, cant keep treading the same ground.
@PerspectiveEnd I would suggest the powerlinx version cause that doesn't have gps
I'd love it for another, "A toy that literally caught on fire one time on camera..."
No matter how much I like how red Armada Universe Starscream is, I like how Cybertron Universe Starscream looks in both robot and tetrajet modes. He's the right amount of bulk to stand as a second in commanding officer to the Megatron of his universe.
The whole budget of the trilogy was spent on designing this man. The show didn't start production until the executives at Hasbro said: "Yeah, looks cool"
The swords not having cyberjet ports is accurate to the orignal voyager we never got in America, because some genius at hasbro decided the line’s flagship starscream needed to be the size of an infant
And that one had them, so check and mate!
@@PerspectiveEnd oh no, the cyberkey slot on the back activated to swords on the voyager, and through come black magic they managed he still managed to have full shoulder articulation
I recently dipped my toes into the Unicron Trilogy, watching the first 15 or so episodes of Armada, and I got to say I really like the characters and the designs are right up my alley, so maybe I’ll pick this up when I get around to watching Cybertron
I'm glad you are enjoying it. I rewatched a lot of Armada for the Roast, and I was just struck by how POINTLESS the humans were.
Just skip Energon.
Yeah, it makes sense how this Starscream fought the entire autobot team solo and (while sustaining lots of damage) managed to steal a portion of God’s power. A feat Megatron could only dream of doing.
I've had this for a few weeks already and I LOVE it. I haven't had issues with an unstable vehicle mode though. Mine's perfectly fine.
I'll never get over this Starscream yelling "MOMMAAAAAA!" as Primus throws a moon at him. One of my favorite Cybertron moments.
He also combines very well with Siege Brunt, in both modes. He makes good weaponry in robot mode and expands the alt mode.
I didn't know that happened?
Glad you are enjoying it though.
Do you have pictures of this, cause I'm not mentally seeing how that works out?
The "please gives" are just whimpers now and the "YOUR LIKES" are clipping my headphones audio. Keep it up!! Never gets old!!
"You can no longer twiddle its nipples"
Wreck-Gar superior!
Also, it that one of those patented Zach Hadel\Psychicpebbles screeches at 3:28? Hats off man, not even MMC Tarn is this cultured.
Indeed, It was hard to find one long enough as I wanted it, so it's a little janky sounding, but I'm glad you appreciated.
@@PerspectiveEnd Don't worry, the jankiness only adds to it!
I meant legacy OP...
But this was funny AF and 100% worth it
Laser Optimus or Animated Optimus?
@@hypertech116 legacy armada
As a kid, I had the big kahuna. THE Supreme Class Starscream. Lord knows I’ve wanted this guy. As someone who COMPLETELY missed the WFC trilogy, im only just learning the terrors of those lines.
I had that thing too. That child sized Strascream was like a monsterously oversized Legends figure, but man I hung onto it for a long time.
I remember a while ago when I actually gave you a heads up about the figure weird that you seem to have joint problems where for me everything was nice and tight out of the box and the head wasn’t so tight, I guess your figure just has bad QC. Also something I like to do when flipping up the swords is to detach them and move them to the forearm. I think that makes them look a little nicer, but that’s just my opinion. Also also the reason that gap is there on the bottom is because you can actually open it up and store the gun there. So basically two places to store the gun without the need for a five mil port.
Moving the to the Forearms is a good decision as it gives the blades more range, and as well as more posing options.
this is my definitive Starscream, it's the best he's ever looked
I totally understand that opinion.
I don't care if cybertron thundercracker has a unique design. I need all 3 of the original trio in this mold
I have this and cybertron hot shot on pre-order. Looking foward to them finally arriving.
Wait is Cybertron Hotshot comming out soon?
@@PerspectiveEnd Not soon, but my local store was able to pre order it so whenever it does release, my copy will held aside.
I have this figure and I cannot stop thinking of “What other pose can I put this in?”
Yeah, it's one of THOSE. It's got so much mobility, you just want to use it.
The Cyberkey doesn’t go into the arms it only ever went into the back in the show
I like putting the wing chunks on the legs to give a conehead silhouette again a seeker mold with built on variety is always a nice touch
As someone who is really enjoying Cybertron, this, and the hotshot and vector prime are a must have for me. And I don’t think the alt-mode looks as bad as it does.
But, not being hold together could be pretty problematic.
The figure doens't feel good in hand, but I think you will still like it.
@@PerspectiveEnd eh, for some reason, as long as the figure overall is good, I don’t mind the feel (unless it feels like chewed gum)
Also, I ordered legacy Tarn finally. Can’t wait for him to arrive.
Great review PerspectiveEnd!! Also, HA HA HA, "trundling along at the speed of smell!" 🤣Keep on being amazing.
I swear I've said that before. But I'm glad you enjoyed it so.
@@PerspectiveEnd It's a fantastic start to my day!! 😎👍
Great video
Thank you!
Honestly have been waiting to see this review for a while and glad to see how ya feel about he figure cause honestly I freakin love this thing!!
Unfortunately tho mine had a qc issue where the right arm keeps slipping/popping off every time I go to turn it or flex it up/outwards. It’s a real shame, but I guess that’s just the luck of the draw when you order on the app 😅😬
While filming this video, I discovered that mine has the same problem. It popped off like 4 times while filming this.
The gun attaches to the alt mode in two ways. The one you showed where it's above the body of the jet connected to the tailfins, and then also underneath the body connected to the legs which you put in before connecting the leg's gap fillers together which is a far more subtle integration.
Positive End is back
You gonna finish that sentence? 0:59. Speed of smell 💀😂6:56
Another great review dude 👍
I thought it was funnier if it cuts off there.
I had this figure for a few weeks, and I think it's fun. Also, you can mount his gun in his alt mode underneath him with the barrel sticking out from the hollow landing scoops
That would help with the stupide hole in the bottom of the altmode.
@@PerspectiveEnd yeah when I have him in alt mode that's where I like to put it cause the look of it feels better and make more sense to put it there.
He's such a vibe. He'll defs make my top three for the year
I don't know if he'll end of that high for me, but maybe if I'm just counting legacy.
Thank you for the shoutout! After I post two reviews on the maximals and the predacons I'll use the information I got by people who voted. Also can you tell me all the characters who appeared in beast wars season 1?
When I opened this thing, I started smiling like a gremlin for an hour straight. It got to the point where it was painful, the same thing happens to me with pretty much every Starscream, even the shit ones. The character just makes me unexplainably happy. I have an addiction to them, please it won’t stop. Great video btw.
I didn't have that quite happen to me, but I did just stare at it in Awe for a long time.
I got this guy day 1 and I was so happy when I got because well it came a day early, and I grew up with the giant one back in the day (that broke some years back and I’ve been looking at Shop Goodwill for a replacement.) he just sits on a shelf with my Classics Prime and Megatron and Reactivate Prime. Hell if you don’t transformer the head he can still have there just like the old toy. Downside I see with this figure is that clip that old the back in place, with how tight that connection is I won’t be surprised if that breaks in the future.
Side note I’m looking forward to your Magmatron video. If you have him.
I do, it might be Sunday's Review. No spoilers yet though.
i still can’t believe we can keep up with your voice
Whys that so hard to believe. By listening to me, you are becoming more powerful, faster, stronger, better!
I really hope they do this in the other seeker colours even if it's not "accurate" just cause of how cool this'd be in other colours
We can hope, though I will say that the other seekers not having good altmodes will be more a drain on them than this figure.
I used to have the Supreme Class Starscream in the G1 colors, it was one of my first (and favorite) Transformers along with Evasion-Mode Optimus Prime. This figure brought back some great memories
I did too. Except I kind of hated that thing. It was so Basic.
The height is messing with my head like it looks like a leader by its self but its a voyager next to anything.
I don't have that issue with my perception of it, but it is quite big.
I snagged this dude on bbts when they had him with early limited stock. This genuinely has to be one of the best voyagers in legacy United
I mean there are like... What 3 or 4 Voyagers in the line so far. At that point one of the best could mean least best, and it would still be one of the best.
But I do get you. It's very cool.
I thought the title was cool, doesn’t cut it, like in a negative way. Three happy perspective videos in a rowwwwww
Nah, cool doesn't cut it because it's not strong enough of a word.
Also... No. Windblade was the previous video, and that was NOT a positive one.
@@PerspectiveEnd mbi forgot
I never before have seen a Starscream who looks like he can kick your ass in hand to hand combat
I mean the Armada one looked pretty decent, but this guy looks even more hard core.
yay, i'm actually on time for a video instead of hours late, lmao
Congratulations!
"My power... "My Future..."
I assume that's a line from the show.
@@PerspectiveEnd yep it is
Well there goes my eardrum Never using headphones for your intro again
Really? The Your Likes Thing? The decible counter said that wasn't that much higher than everything around it?
You can plug the gun into the scoop thing under the alt mode to fill the gap
At least somewhat fill it, I didn't know that, so thanks for the info.
Also have a great of your week!
You as well!
Diddlescream: truly a nightmare to surpass something
A nightmare to surpass Jared?
Well you know I'll be getting this for my Birthday (which will be 10th June)... and many others that I may or may not be old and new figures you recommended me (technically everyone but still)...
I have no attachment to the character but when I heard reviewers hyping him up I got him. I just felt disappointed getting him in hand.
Understandable. It looks cool, and it poses great, but it feels bad, and that transformation and altmode are terrible.
Note on the right foot! The tab on the flip out nosecone piece rubs against a ridge on the central hinge that forms a roundness on the foot and creates not only an imbalance but chips the paint on it, and extending the foot sets off the balance even more.
trundling along at the speed of smell. thanks for that
I swear I've said that before, but I'm glad so many people thought that bit was funny.
3:34 personally i find it fitting for starscream to have clown shoes
True, but I don't think this is the version of him who'd be wearing them.
Yeah this guy is top notch. A+. Fits right in with old Cybertron guys on the shelf. Can't wait for Hot Shot
Honestly fits in with pretty much every other shelf too.
I saw these guys on my birthday we went a couple of toy stores so I could look at transformers toys he's definitely a really cool design even if I was most excited about the 2 studio series optimus primal there. I could definitely see myself picking this guy up and just 3d printing my own head sculpt. Also update on my fallen model he's almost done and he's definitely the most intricate model I've ever made
Happy Birthday if I didn't wish you one before.
And nice, show me when you are done with it.
Its like how Godzilla became King of the pank in the new empire.
Then Pank?
Pink
Owning the original 2000s voyager figure, I do think the alt mode is a fantastic modern evolution of the G1 Tetrajet design. But it IS tricky to pull off, even for a new release like this with all the extra steps added.
It almost works as a Tetrajet, it's just too flat in the body.
I don't know if anyone has mention this yet but in the transformation you can use the shoulder joints to square it up even though it doesn't look much better (still a figure that gives me joy every time I handle it.)
I'm not sure what you mean by use the shoulder joints that way to square it up?
Me simple man , I see PerspectiveEnd video me click
I'm proud to hear that, thank you so much.
Your thoughts on this dude's qc beong chaotic is also how I felt about my copy too
Still a load of fun to pose around tho
Yeah it seems to be pretty universal with this thing, going bye the Comments. Once again a Legacy UT Starscream has universally bad QC.
I once owned the Cybertron Supreme class Starscream. I had to let him go after he toppled and damaged one of my expensive figures. He was just too hollow in the legs. Well all right, the real truth is, once I got Siege Jetfire, I was like, why did I think that Cyberton Starscream posing is good again?
Anyway. I finally got Space Jazz. I was initially prepared to write him off and never think about getting him, since he is not my definitive version of Jazz.
But after I got Space Jazz, I was like, my goodness, he is so fun to pose and mess around with. His joints are all tight yet smooth. No other figure short of a Metal Build ever felt this smooth and satisfying.
1) We all know Space Jazz transformation is awful. It's only a bit better than Rhinox. Anyone who tells you it is good is straight up lying.
2) His alt mode is simply a shellforming panel former.
3) Some of his articulation is a bit limited. Like his elbows only a 90. And his butterfly might as well not exist. His knees are limited.
But that aside, I am not kidding. Space Jazz joints are tight yet smooth. He is so satisfying to pose.
I had it too, and I wasn't too charmed with it. It's just kind of lame. Feels like an Oversized legends.
I'm glad you are liking Space Jaz more than me.
1 Yes. Agreed.
I keep them on the forarms so the swords have more reach.
That does make plenty of sense.
The right shoulder on mine was frozen and popped off the mushroom peg. It was hard to get things lined up in alt mode. The poor QC made me sad.
Yeah i have that problem too. I didn't know it till I recorded the video though.
Im absolutely loving this figure, mine has good tolerances so it’s just a joy to mess with and pose, it’s a shame you got chaos in the tolerance department
Yeah. Does your's right arm stay on, a lot of people in the comments are complaining about that.
Hey, perspective, End, if you're reading this comment, I just wanted for you to know that your videos make me remember why I'm a transformer fan
I am reading this, and I'm so proud of that. It's stuff like this that makes what I do here worth while.
Hey that's how I pose the tailfins!
Isn't that the way they are supposed to go?
They must have a new guy sculpting heads at Hasbro cause recently there are some weird looking faces
They had weird faces before, but man it's been rapid fire of late.
One thing I like about it is it has a second spot for weapon storage on the bottom in between the leg panels, this hides the gun and makes the altmode a bit more solid
I have 2 things to say about your review. One, you have the tail fins in the wrong position in the robot mode. But I don't know if you knew that. They are suppose to be down. And 2, the gun can be stored in that open cavity underneath the vehicle mode. Other than that, another great perspective end review.
An awesome starscream design, probably my favorite, imagine there was a bruticus that suits this design.
I love this design
It is exceedingly cool looking.
The hole at the bottom of the jet mode is for the gun. Also, the arms have a tab at the elbows which locks into the kneepads so they don't move so much when transformed.
If it's for the gun, then why is the gun designed to tab into the top the way it is with dedicated tabs?
@@PerspectiveEnd I don't know why it has two dedicated mounting locations, but that's why there's a hole there.
@@PerspectiveEndThe instructions even have a separate multi step section showing how to store it underneath, so yes it is an alternate option for the gun and looks much better
YES! I bought two of these damn things, one for myself and the other for a friend, and BOTH OF THEM had the same damn issues, not in different places, but the EXACT SAME ISSUES. Hell, on both of ours, the wings don't even TRY to stay on. It's an SS86 Sludge all damn over again.
Or... Hear me out... It's Legacy Starscream all over again.
Why can't they get the Tolerances right on Starscream?
You should do a Top 10 best of legacy❤
Perhaps I should.
So this was a Takara job for the most part (along with the upcoming Hotshot) which I think explains a lot about this figure. Also the reason he has two swords instead of sword and gun is because the og figure had two swords, Hasbro redid one of the shoulders to have it be a gun when they made him massive.
I like that he has balls because this was the incarnation that just entirely forsook being a coward for DBZ fighting Galvatron and challenging God himself
Yeah, but still is supposed to be the coward, so if you you are just treating this as the normal dude, then it's a little weird.
@@PerspectiveEnd fair
When I got mine, it had marring on the plastic around the elbow joint and I was thinking of getting a replacement. But upon further looking into the area the joint looks like it will hold for a long time despite the marring. Like the marring goes “deep” but there’s enough plastic there, to were the joint is not gonna rip off if I move it too much. Overall this is an awesome figure, definitely would recommend.
Gigachad Starscream. I like it
Not quite the Jawline for it, but yeah.
I thought the back wings were supposed to be pointing down , also there is a way to store the gun in the legs which fixes some of the hollowness
I opened mine in the parking lot of the store I got him at, and my 19 yr old son immediately got his hands on him. By the time we got home, his gun was gone. To which my son was like "oh well"... as if he didn't have anything to do with it
Sounds like that Boy Needs the Belt... And the chair... and THE CLAMPS!!!

I love this guy, it’s an awesome design that is done justice by this figure. Now I want maketoys one
I almost bought the Maketoys one at a point, and the one I went to buy sold out, and instantly they were all like 400 bucks on ebay.
@@PerspectiveEnd fuuuck that sucks, from what I’ve seen he’s basically this figure but upscaled
You can put the gun on the underside too btw
That'd help fill the gap underneath a bit at least.
i have the legends toy of this guy but as a kid I never knew what show it was from cause i threw out the box😭😭😭🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️. i only figured it out when this voyager got revealed💀
Really? The TF Wiki could have helped you out with that long ago.
This is my favourite Starscream Character of all ! Love this figure! It still needs more paint to match the cartoon.
It looks like a speedboat.
You have a very good point.
The open space at the bottom can actually be filled by the gun also mine has a solid alt mode is super well tolerances... but it has terrible paint chipping
i'm holding out hope for the toysrus redeco of this to come out at some point, as that's the version i had as a kid and i'd love that rush of nostalgia in my hands. other than that though, i'm confused to why everyone i see is complaining that one of the arm blades isn't a gun though, like the original voyager didn't have that and i don't think it was in the show either ( haven't watched through all of it like ever only watched re-runs as a kid and i'm only up to the part where they find the omega lock so if it happens latter i wouldn't know) same goes for the "nipple" lasers.
Oh my God! I never Realized that Toys R' Us reads like Toysarus if you slam it all together.
That may be like the 1 Redeco this might get, seeing as the rest of the seekers didn't have this design.
i have this figure, and quite like it, and i apparently won the qc lottery since all my joints are consistent, shoulders are microscopically loose though, also, is it possible that the patrons are saying the legacy armada optimus, and not the original?
This is it to me. This is the seeker mold I’m going to go all out on. I’ve never gone all out on a seeker mold before because none of the ones available since I started collecting have justified buying more than one, but this mold is excellent. I just hope that future releases have better tolerances.
I don't know if they are going to Slam this out like normal. This Starscream doesn't really have any repaints, the other Seekers in that show weren't based of him.
@@PerspectiveEnd I think we’ll get a sunstorm out of it at the very least, and there are already leaks for a Cybertron skywarp in the Walmart capsule next year.
@@PerspectiveEnd I think a leak said we’re getting at least a Skywarp repaint of this figure, but that’s about it.
What wheeljack should i buy fir me stop motion movie perspective?
I loved this but I wish the sword parts weren’t separate
It’s great to have an updated version of one of my favourite toys as a kid, even if the arms feel loose and occasionally pop off
Also that gap underneath in the jet mode can fit his gun in place there
I think it's cool you can move them around, but at the same time they are frustrating.
Ngl cybertron starscreams gun looks like G1 silverbolts gun
Damn you are right.
when i grabbed this figure, it was completely missing a pin in one of the arms which made it impossible to transform without it falling off, but even if that wasnt the case i didnt like the figure so when i returned it i didnt even bother getting a replacement.
Were you able ever to get a full Dr Wu ultra Magnus? I remember you saying that show z only shipped the trailer to you
I’ve been hunting this figure for months
He has perspective end wings
Been a while Since I integrated my logo so heavily.
I hope to god I’m able to find one out in the wild cause I love that design it’s cool and it’s a good design I just hope my target decides to stock those up
Best of luck, you will probably like it if you can find it. I think I got mine through Amazon.
@@PerspectiveEnd ok thanks
There's only one single tiny flaw to this figure that I hope an upgrade kit comes out to fix: The ball turrets on the cockpit area do not move.
A cool addition also would be the addition of a crown for when Starscream became King Starscream in the show.
EDIT: Had to remove the part with the gun since it was added by default. Yeah, gonna clear up that mess quickly.
Yeah I mentioned that my self, though I don't think an Upgrade Kit can fix it.
A lack of a crown is something that can address though.
@@PerspectiveEnd maybe it can be addressed by say fully replacing the chest piece as an upgrade kit
I have this guy and sadly he has a defect where his right arm comes off too easily. So now I cant see this figure as anything but it loses it's arm
God tier figure. One of my favorite Starscreams. I've had him since sometime early May and haven't transformed him yet because his robot mode is just too cool.
In the anime this guy basically becomes a god and I think even tries to fight Primus himself. The ball bearings on this Starscream.
Transformation does look pretty bad. Not the first transformer to origami himself into alt mode though.
Yeah don't Transform him. You aren't missing anything, and you will probably like it more if you continue to not.
It's not so much Origami, it's not that complicated. It's kind of more... Too simple, and badly handled to the point where the simple steps are all REALLY frustrating.
