That's awesome! Curtains made easy. You're killing it on great content, brother. Keep up the outstanding work!
Thanks, man! I appreciate the positive feedback!
Great fascination! Keep up the good work 💪
thanks for making these so simple and clear
Short and does exactly what I need, awesome!
Thanks!
Lazy tutorial vibes! Thanks for the tip! :)
hahaa, yeah, i had quite a lot of inspiration from there. we definitely need more straight to the point tutorials instead of the 30 minute rambles to do the same thing :D
Dude that interior work you’ve done is one of the best I’ve seen on blender. I wonder if you have any kind of explanatory long version of tutorial that is from scratch?
Hi, i only have the 5 minute breakdown of this project. And unfortunately a month ago my storage drive failed on me and lost all of my full recordings of these projects.
boom instant curtain
Ok, but how to convert it to mesh after simulation? Right now, I can't append it to another file, besacuse it resets :/
well, select the model, press F3(or whatever shortcut you have for the search function, if you are using legacy controls it might be set to the Spacebar) the type convert to mesh and select it, this will apply the sim at whichever frame you have it set. The other way to do it is from the Object menu at the top left, there you can find the same function. Hope that helps!
@@blenderisms Thank you!
got stuck at 0.17. What section are you in?
Hi, you need to go to the physics properties of the model and add a "Cloth", this will let you access the options I'm tweaking in the video.
Thanks, I appreciate it. @@blenderisms
Please explain me s40'
Hi. I've created 2 meshes - a floor plane and a V shaped object. from the Physics settings I've added a Collision operator. When you start the cloth simulation, the cloth will interact with those Collision objects. and if you move them while the simulation is running - the cloth will interact with that movement too. I hope that helps.
3 times too fast. Take a breath :)
Thanks for the tut!! Can i ask if the curtain material of the rendering is a mix of alpha and transmission? Thanks!❤️
it's transmission and added transparency, i'm working on a tutorial just for curtain shaders as they are a bit more complex than other fabrics.
nice
