Thx for watching nlken and ya pretty happy with this setup So far. The tire size puts me at 34.3” and it saves me a few pounds vs full 35’s and you’ll never notice it by looking, but you’ll feel it on take offs if you drive it side by side with another truck on 35 shoes. Lots to talk about on how this truck tracks fwy high speeds and washboard roads vs the Silverado ZR2 though, stay tuned….. 👍🏼
Very helpful. I want something MILD for my 2023 TRD Pro. This fits the trick. The rear of my truck has a bit of sag currently because I have too many tools I keep in a gear box near the bulkhead. I think I will need to install the air bags with the compressor on mine. (These trucks sag too easily with even the smallest trailer). Anyway, love your set up. Still happy with yours-10 months later?
Keep an eye on next video coming out I’ll be talking about all the stuff I’ve done Ect. It’s the Westcott shim setup that keeps your factor ride, great system but make sure it’s installed correctly.
Great looking Truck!! I just purchased a 23 Silverado zr2, I’ve had it for about a week. The truck seems jittery over certain roads and broken pavement. How would you compare your Tundra ride quality and fit and finish to your previous zr2?
Thx for watching and I’m sorry you took the Silverado route… if you got it for a good price ok, but I hope you didn’t pay markup. I have a video coming that will talk about both trucks side by side… as for this truck, I love it so much I might cancel my T-Rex 🦖 I ordered! The suspension on the Silverado ZR2 was great, but I did have to replace RR shock on first week. It was a little soft on pavement and on corners but overall, I loved the multimatics! We have our second Colorado ZR2 and that suspension is simple one of the best we have ever tested! We thought it would’ve carried over to the Silverado ZR2 also but I think it’s just all that weight that makes it so lumbersome… more to follow but you better watch my other videos to see what to look for on your ZR2…. And know they have a fix for it, you just need to get your service people to do it!!!
I’m definitely trying to decide between these two trucks. The Silverado interior just seems so much better built and higher quality. The tundra interior seems like cheaper plastics.
@@matthollis1270 Matt, I’m telling you this as if you’re my brother, DONT GET THE ZR2, YOU WILL REGRET IT! I have a T-Rex on order still since September and I love my Tundra TRD Pro so much even with the small hiccups, I may cancel it! I’m going to talk more about this in some videos I have coming up but I’m telling you man, I soooo wish I just stuck with Tundra TRD Pro from the beginning. Keep in mind though, you may need to spend some money to “man-it-up” a bit for my liking. Unless you’re a latte-lover… 🙄
Did you do the top and bottom shim for the front lift? Trying to figure out how it only went up an inch in front? Also, do you feel that the truck sits level or does the nose seem higher?
Trust me, all that crap they post just confused the hell out of me so I said f@ it, let’s just install the damn thing and figure it out. What they say is a bunch of bullshit and I don’t know if they are trying to say from stock non-TRD suspension or what. Bottom line is after the install and driving all this time, my front sits at another 41” with the 295’s and it rides perfect. Well worth the money and 88 Rotors did a perfect job as always. Hope that helps….
@@JamesMcGinn14 ya, that’s why I did the tape measure thing because all this crap they post and talk about does help really when you want to see real world completed measurements. Thanks for watching and the sub, should have more videos coming shortly.
did you check with toyota if the warranty on the drive train would be void if a lift was put on? I had a service advisor tell me it would be void cause the angle of the drive shaft changes.
Doesn’t void shit here at my dealership but it’s dealer to dealer. There is no set policy. I asked the OWNER, GM and service manager and they all told me the sane thing. Cold Part was when I still had it, they told me if I ever had an issue and I was at another dealership and they gave me shit, to get it back over to my dealership and would take care of it, now THATS service! 👌🏼
@@gatordunn sorry man, I can’t endorse any because good today, I’ll may be bashing them tomorrow and I don’t get any kick backs from dealers for my posts. Old saying goes, say it, forget it, write it, make them regret it 😂
7.5 hours of labor? Can anyone else confirm this as a standard labor install time? I had a Westcott kit installed on my '18 TRD Pro Tacoma and it was 2 hours, 2.5 hours at best. Things must be way different on the Tundra.
Your truck looks great! I like everything you’ve done. I’m looking forward to more content.
Thx much for watching and sub!
That truck looks awesome!
Thx for watching and sub Terry!
Just right. Should have came this way with the extra lift and 35" tire's from the factory.

Are you still happy with The Westcott Design lift, have you noticed any downside?
Cool 😎 bro I glad you liked it I'm in cali Upland ca with the same truck let me know when you want to go off road
👍🏼
Which kit is this the 3/2 or 3/1?
What did is cost you in labor? I plan to do the same
Did you have the whole kit installed. I mean rear puck
Yes
how bad did it kill MPG? i know the truck isnt the greatest, but my 2023 TRD Pro stock is between 17-18 mpg stocked.
I never saw those numbers, lucky you. I averaged 11-12 before and after.
I average 13.0 mpg with 37’s on 7 inch lift
The truck looks amazing. Can I ask what the exact lift is? I have the same truck but I'm new to this. Thank you!

What % tint do you have. Looks great.
Does this size fit under spare tire
How much did it cost for the install?

Westcott lift from 88 Rotors and I think the kit only comes one way for shims, sits level. Love the Westcott, it’s a must
@@rant-n-rave7816 thank you for getting back to me! Truck looks great!
I was wondering the same thing. Why only 1" of lift? They claim 2.5" in the front and 1" in the rear 🤷🏻♂️
My 22 pro is still on the stock tires. Debating the 295's. So there was zero rub with the 295's even before the westcott?
No rub even with mud flaps
So it's rated as a 2.5 lift up front, but you seem to have netted 1"...is that right? It looks perfect, just trying to understand.

what % of Tint do you have on there - looks great!
Limo all the way around…. Xpel Prime XR Plus Ceramic- and be sure you tint your sunroof with ceramic light to keep the sun heat off you!
So was anything hitting before the lift?
No
Do you know how high the truck is now? To the top of the shark fin?
Added measurements to description, best measure I can get is 79”. Very little sag after settling in. Very glad I did the Westcott.
good luck with that ride quality....its terrible. Coachbuilder makes a better kit. Did both

What kinda mpg are you getting with that setup?
8-11 mpg after and 11-12 mpg on stock setup
My honest opinion is it looked better before
Wescott lifts are junk. They aren't even lifts. Terrible. All hype no quality. Total junk. Get a real lift or go home. Don't waste your money.
