Thank you I was searching for solid reviews on why to get them installed and you knocked it out of the park for me. I usually car camp and I like having my windows cracked when I sleep.
I've used the stick on ones for years on several different vehicles and never damaged the paint. I see the big advantage with these being easy installation and better looks. But I'm not convinced they'll be more secure.
Well if you like the stick on ones then stick with them. I haven't had much luck with the stick on ones myself. The only downside of these for me has been a slight amount of wind noise as the windows don't make as good if a seal when closed. Have a blessed day!
i actually just got mine in today, i didn't receive the red tool, just the front deflectors i ordered and that's it. everything seems to be fine but they catch just slightly on the windows as they go up, nothing to freak out about but did i do something wrong putting them in my truck?
If they don't send you the red tool then it probably wasn't needed for your setup. Personally I don't think it's a big deal if they catch a little bit as long as they're not damaging your windows. I've had several sets and some of them do sometimes seem to catch a little bit. Enjoy your deflectors! God bless!
Just tried putting these on my Kona. It was probably the most frustrating thing I've done in a while. Those dang clips for the rear windows simply would not work. They kept popping out and didn't seem to fit right. After an hour I gave up.
Sorry about that. 😥 if you live in TN come by and I'll try to help. Maybe try calling the company and see if they have any tips??? We love the Kona btw. Very cool looking car We were seriously thinking of getting one. God bless.
@@diyamerican Thank you for responding and offering to help!!! Unfortunately I live in TX not TN 😪 otherwise I would take you up on that offer. Will contact them tomorrow and go from there. The 2022 Kona Limited is a solid car love it!!! Have a great Thanksgiving and a merry Christmas!!!
Hello awesome video, considering getting these for my 2020 Honda Fit and I wanted to know the process of removing them and if it is difficult to remove them? I have a lease so want to make sure I return the car in good shape
Some models of cars don't need the tape. If yours didn't come with the tape then I would assume your car doesn't need it. If you want to be sure you may want to call WeatherTech and verify.
My fronts came with a little clear tape on the front edge that you are supposed to have on the lip of the window by the mirror is that tape for packaging or does it need to be left on?
Hi Michael! Yes! It is still super secure. I was so pleased with these I bought another set for my truck. When I bought my truck it had the ones with the adhesive that you stick to the outside and the truck is now over 10 years old and I don't know when the original owner stuck them on but they look really crappy and the adhesive is coming off and it's going to be a big mess to clean them off. I would never buy the exterior stick on ones! These ones are awesome and they look fantastic! Thanks for stopping by our channel! God bless!
I’m having an issue with my Honda on the back ones.. I can’t get the clip positioned correctly and when I roll the window up the clip starts to scratch against the tint. Any tips?
Have you tried seeing if they will stay in without the clips? That's the only thing I can think to suggest. You may want to reach out to WeatherTech themselves to see if they have any solutions. Best of luck!
@@diyamerican yes, they don’t stay up without them unfortunately! WeatherTech just keeps saying we are doing it wrong so just a little frustrated. We’ve watched so many videos!. I have a “double-walled” trim piece that doesn’t separate where you have to put the little hook into and would really like to be able to use them but it’s just not working with them. Real bummer. Thanks anyway!
Bummer. Yeah it sounds like other people have had issues with the clips. I sure hope weathertech develops a better system that works for everyone. The Kona is a sweet car! We were actually looking at those but we wanted something that was big enough to sleep in.
If your windows are rolled down while you're driving then you may get some noise but other than that I don't think you should get any type of screeching at least that hasn't been our experience.
Better than the actual weathertech video 👍
Thanks Cody! Much appreciated. God bless!
God I'd hate to see the weathertech one.
😂🤣😜

Thanks Drew! Have fun car camping! God bless!

My pleasure! Your SUV camper build sounds exciting! God bless!
Thanks, appreciate the help with those clips
Glad it helped! Thanks for checking out our videos and for your kind comment. God bless!
very helpful, it said nothing about the clips
thanks !!!!
You're welcome Eric! God bless! Thanks for watching!

Helpful video my friend...thanks
Thanks Michael! Glad you enjoyed it. Have a blessed day!
Thanks I had to bend my clip a little in so it was not so wide to get the rear deflector over it.
Glad it worked for you. Enjoy your deflectors! Have a blessed day.
Nice video thank you brother and thanks to you wife
Thanks Jorge! God bless you!
Great video!
Thanks! Very kind of you. God bless!
Thanks for the video, Any issues with them rolling up and down thanks.
Nope. We drive this car for about a year and no issues. God bless!
Great 👍video thanks 😊for you're hard works!
I'm looking for toyota rav4 where can i order?

Hello awesome video, considering getting these for my 2020 Honda Fit and I wanted to know the process of removing them and if it is difficult to remove them? I have a lease so want to make sure I return the car in good shape
Hi Austin! I've never removed any of them yet but it seems like it wouldn't be too difficult. Sorry I can't be of more help.
Mine didnt come with the double sided tape. Should i put some on myself?
Some models of cars don't need the tape. If yours didn't come with the tape then I would assume your car doesn't need it. If you want to be sure you may want to call WeatherTech and verify.
Yeah, it makes sense. Thanks for answering me.
@@alareco Of course! Thanks for watching our channel! God bless.
Aren’t you supposed to clean inside the window track with alcohol wipes ? Oh well I guess
Not a bad idea!
Are the back flipper windows included ?
Good question. Better check their website. I don't remember if it was a package deal or if I paid extra.
In 2024, they come as a package deal
Thanks for the update, Amy!
How do they hold up going through car washers?
So far I haven't had one break yet! Have a blessed day, Robert!
My fronts came with a little clear tape on the front edge that you are supposed to have on the lip of the window by the mirror is that tape for packaging or does it need to be left on?
Good question. I haven't heard of that design before. If I were you I'd reach out to WeatherTech and see if they'll give you an answer.
do the front ones have adhesive on them? because that detail wasn’t specific in the vodeo
We sold this vehicle a while back but I don't remember the front ones having adhesive so I don't think they did. Have a blessed day!
I installed the drivers side front one but the windows won't go up all the way it stops when it gets to deflector any suggestions?
Yikes! I've never had that happen. You might call Weathertech and see if they have any suggestions. Best of luck! God bless!
Im only here for the thumbnail😂
Good enough for us! 👍 Have a blessed day.
@@diyamerican you do as well! Thank you for the laugh:)
Are these deflectors still performing well?
Good question. We sold the car. 😥 They were still going strong a year later.
Is that your real hair?
It's 200% all natural messy hair!
Question. Front side deflector. Overvtime did it stay secure? I see that there was no adhesive
Hi Michael! Yes! It is still super secure. I was so pleased with these I bought another set for my truck. 😟 well if you do end up figuring something out you should definitely make a video to help others with the same issue!
I just couldn't get those clips to stay on my Kona. So I'll just get the tape on ones.

Is screeching windows normal?
Or like any sound ?
If your windows are rolled down while you're driving then you may get some noise but other than that I don't think you should get any type of screeching at least that hasn't been our experience.
What did you do with the clips?
I installed them. At about 5:20 you can see one going in.
5:57 😂
Thanks for appreciating! 😜
Damn, they make those for Dodge 🤦🏼♂️
Even for Dodge. 😂
Please note that for the back door deflectors, they say 4 inches, not 3 at the front. Great vid otherwise
Gracias!
