Looks good. Unfortunately, you did not do it correctly on the rear. The clips are supposed to be behind the polycarbonate rain deflector; NOT exposed on the outside like you suggest
Mark, you did a clear and highly detailed video on this installation and possibilities the only one on the Internet to adequately show the installation of those clips. Than you so much. Mine are coming tomorrow and I will be installing them on my new Honda CRV this weekend.
I believe the clips should be hidden , just watching other you tubers on this particular rain guards the clips should not be visible and you should of heard a clicking sound when sliding the window vent into those clips , this is something new I’ve never had to use clips before and I’ve been driving since the 90’s but yeah I would look into that , good job on the video 👍🏼
Thank you so much! The Weathertech were pretty vague and with the front deflector having to sit on the outside windowsill, if I would've installed it the correct way, it would've looked completely wrong to me, and I would've been messing around with it for far too long.
Nice video but you are showing the clips going over the top they actually go underneath.. otherwise window deflectors would be too long and not set up in window frame properly that's what happened to me
Didn't you notice what the front deflector did? It displaced the black trim and distorted the window weather seal at the rear top side of the door. Freeze your video at 5:42 and look at your car. I got a set for a 2020 Cherokee and it pushed the trim loose and into the back door and scratched the rear door trim. The trim is loose now. Weathertech said they never heard of this and it's right thee in your video.
Hey Mark, Did you do a video replacing Front cv axle seals on your Blazer? I could have sworn you did but cant find it... if you did can you let me know the video name or link it. Thanks..
Looks easy but my back one on the Ridgeline has square corners. I could not get it to bow enough to put the end edges in, with out the deflector breaking.: Like it was made a half inch too long. If I set the deflector at an angle, sliding one end up, it’s so tight, the end damages the weather strip.
Unfortunate about the clips. Diagram clearly shows that the clips sit 'inboard' of the deflector. You should not see the clips in the exterior view of the installation
Clips are meant to be behind the plastic and hold it tight to the outer rubber so that the window clears easier and makes sure the deflector is tight. You done this wrong mate.
You should remove this video if your not going to edit it to correct the mistake you made with the rear clips. The rear clips are supposed to sit behind the deflectors and apply pressure to the inside of the deflectors, pushing it outwards and helping the adhesive tape to hold. So as you slide the rear deflectors up you push the clips back behind them. I wonder how many people installed them wrong because of this video.
Hello Mark Jenkins! This is Nove from AISKITS, I watched your channel it’s really exciting and impressive. This is a newly launched LED headlight! You can see this LED headlight, is not cool?it is our latest development of a product! In the United States, there are many classic cars, they are our closest partners! Now they may need some upgrades to accompany us better. Replacing and upgrading our headlights does more than making driving safer. They improve the look of your vehicle as well as its performance. LED bulbs have a lower power pull on your vehicle’s battery and system. They also give our vehicle a fresh and new feel with bright white light. I was wondering if you could do a share for it on your RUclips: • Introduction • Overview of features • Actual driving footage with the bulbs • Amazon link on the description for viewers interested in buying the product." Please let me know if this is OK with you. Really looking forward to working with you. Best wish, Nove

Great video just note rear clips are to put pressure behind the deflectors so they don’t move out of place
All the instructions say to put it over the clips for the back windows
Exactly correct. Those clips when installed correctly act as a shelf or an added points of friction to help secure the deflector.
Weather tech instructions say for deflector to go over the clip not under it
I don't think we should be able to see the window clips from the outside. In any event, great video. Thank you very much!
Place deflectors in front or behind clips for rear windows? Hmm
Really nice 👌. Thanks for the video Mark. We've missed you around the channel! We usually upload every Wednesday.

So glad you found it helpful!
Hi, Mark. I got both front and back ones installed. It went very smoothly, with your very helpful video!

Thanks. You helped me with what I couldn't figure out which was the window going right back down.
If I were to bedazzle the deflectors, do you think they would stay on?
Clips should be under the deflector
Looks nice. Thank you for sharing. 👍🏻
The rubber is to thick for the clip to stay flush in the lining is there a solution to this?
Exactly what I was looking for. What brand do you recommend? So far all I’m looking on is Amazon. My vehicle is a 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Good job 👏🏽 and thanks for this review!

Nicely done 😊 Thank you
Great job 👏 😄
Thank you
Hola para RENAULT SANDERO STEPWAY 2018 GRACIAS
I brought them over the weekend from WeatherTech I see the clips but it has no adhesive strips on either of the reflectors what do you suggest
My window won't roll all the way up. It gets stuck. What did I do! );
I park outside. What if it rains the day after installation?
can you install screen shades that fit inside on top of window screen?
Has anyone figured out how to remove the Weather Tech logo on the end of the deflectors?
Well done!

Are you sure you got the one specific yo your car? They come in different sizes
Absolutely sure.
@@LatestSquash Perhaps they shipped the wrong ones. I won’t be able to follow up until Monday. For now, I just tossed them into the back seat.

You done this wrong mate.

rear clips wrongly installed...
Yes, everybody teach the easy ....why don't show in a 17 Ram Pro master !!!

I'm not connected to you tube
Excellent! You must remain disconnected from the AI machine!
You should re make the video. Since you did the rear wrong
So the front deflectors don't have adhesive strips?
Correct.... I just bought a set (sheet says 9089) and fronts do not have adhesive strips and they do not have clips.

Don’t waste your time. I love weather tech , but these are not worth the money and hassle.
