Onsite experience is vital as well as real qualifications. Yet this media stream and experience passed on is helping nations strive to better engineering standards. It would have been a game changer if I had some of these videos when I initially qualified as a plumber 13 years ago. There was hardly anything like this to watch. A really good job that I’m interested in doing after high school That payed well really love learning to do new things and skills Awsome vídeo love from California 🙏
Milwaukee CHPX, knipex grips, Veto, stanley organisers, a lot of the same kit, Wera, of course. It seems we're not so far aparts sparks and plumbers... just started watching, thanks for the video, great content.
Nice setup for the type of work you do , a bit similar to myself in that you concentrate on service and repair work and that's all I do these days. Get in do the repair and on to the next job....I also love the Fatmax deep organiser boxes and can find anything I need within a minute , top notch gear , been thinking about getting a Veto tote bag like the one you have , do you think they are worth the money....? cheers mate and I look forward to more vids.....👍
Noticed you have the Nerrad Tap kit...May I ask just how long are those extra deep sockets that come in the kit? I have seen a couple of reviews complaining they are not long enough???
Only thing I didn't like and would question the ease of access if that Stanley toolbox on the top right at the rear of your van. With so much weight it must be a bugger to lift it up unless you don't use it often. Very good diy racking though well done
I only have one question, how do you charge this preparation? cause it seems that once you get on a site you won't leave till it's resolved...so no extra time in going to the shop to buy materials.... I am an electrician and I do the same thing... always over prepared ..
Hardly a BIG box of boiler spares more like a drop in the ocean young fella. Trust me in a couple of years you will be looking back wondering how you worked out of such a small vehicle. You have the right idea though have the spares in the van it makes your life easier and impresses the client that you have all materials at hand.My van is basically a mobile plumbers merchants which is the only way to go if your jobbing doing 4 or 5 jobs a day.If you dont carry the stock you will be cheating yourself out of a couple of jobs per day.I can see you in a swb sprinter soon.😀

Hi Pete yes I do ... I’ve never had a problem fitting taps with it. Can’t tell you how long they are but I can always get them on
Before this kit came out I made my own sockets bought all the size sockets 7mm up to 14mm cutt them and welded tube in-between has come in very handy

Hiya mate , ive just orderd 2 of them vaults for my van , how easy was it bolting um to the floor ? Easy or a basterd ? Cheers pal
Hi mate easy to be honest .. they come with L brackets so you drill them from the outside of the vault
How do you find the weight of all your gear in your caddy especially the van vault, just brought one for mine and surprised me abit how heavy they are
Yeh I could definitely feel the weight difference .. keep the tires full!
Hey Rob, are they any good these Van Vaults? I'm in Australia and thinking of buying one.
We're did you get the storage trays from they look just the ticket. I use the Stanley boxes they are Good
Hi mate they are sortimo boxes. I’ve now replaced them for Milwaukee crates. Check my more recent van tour video
@@ParkesPlumbing we're can I get them from please they are perfect
I only have one question, how do you charge this preparation?
cause it seems that once you get on a site you won't leave till it's resolved...so no extra time in going to the shop to buy materials....
I am an electrician and I do the same thing... always over prepared ..
I charge an hourly rate plus parts with markup .. I gain many customers through recommendation by repairing first time. Preparation is key
Parkes Plumbing what is a decent figure per hour?
Screwfix vs Toolstation which one do you prefer tradies? 🤔😉
Screwfix for me.
Use both, some items are cheaper in one and vice versa. If one doesn't stock something the other will
Did I just clock some L brackets holding down your van vault? I was going to ask how you secured it down.
That’s right bro. It comes with them. I have 2 at the driver end to stop it sliding forward and 2 at back
Can you bolt it to the van inside the vault as well?
Yep. I have it bolted from the inside too
Parks joinery is better than most joiners I know ha!
Lol osb king! .. the new layout is way better and had to get a professional in
Nice set up and tools👍
Thanks bro
What kind a van is it? Transporter?
Its a short wheel based VW caddy
What work trousers do you have?
Snickers .. always
Winner takes all
