Vampire Survivivors had a HUGE new update and today we check out Hail from the Future, a new Darkasso, or in other words Arcana, that has absolutely ridiculous powers, allowing you to get a swarm of additional weapons and passives just by leveling up. And to make use of that I play as Gains, a character that gains 2% Growth every single level up. See the synergy there? Darkasso are pretty much a more powerful or chaotic version of Arcana, further extending on the game, which got introduced in the most recent update.

There's apparently a bug with Darkana X and red coin bags that causes them to get huge amounts of gold. And by huge I mean I hit the 32 bit float maximum after one game without realizing what was happening.
It's been patched on the beta branch, but I dont think it's been pushed to the standard version yet, so if you want to exploit this, hold off.
Not that gold farming in this game is a hassle, but getting 300+ undecillion gold in one game is kind of a step above. I had to look up the name of that order of magnitude.
I had that happen to me during my lunch break. One of my gold fevers went insanely off and suddenly my gold amount had a lot more digits than I was used to.
Honestly, I might save hack and reset my gold count, I'm not sure I can handle having effectively infinite money forever lmao

Long story short; I had to start a fresh save as it literally ruined my game, when I spent all that gold on a merchant farmer...
Happened in adventure so it won't be a big issue, but it goes hand to hand with the darkana's big issue; makes things too easy eventually

At this point, it seems absolutely necessary to add a relic in the late game that allows you to disable rendering of weapon projectiles or something.
@@AliceErishech I think a better solution would be how it's handled in boneraiser minions. Add a graphical option to adjust the transparency
@@CaptainNingle That would be a better option in general but Poncle has already stated reluctance to introduce a setting like that. Though disabling weapon visuals altogether would have a positive impact on performance compared to transparency as well. Transparency will result in more graphics getting drawn to the screen every frame which can decrease framerate more than having them completely opaque or disabled.

I just wish they would layer everything but the floor over weapons. I should be able to see enemies wall and drops over the effects. They have touched on this but only half ass
@@kurt8655 Yeah, it's not unusual at this point for me to end a run early once I can no longer see what I'm doing. It's really unfortunate that Poncle is so reluctant to do anything about this issue.
So the run with all weapons and all accessories (and eventually all arcana/darkana, if you're patient enough) is now possible without modding? Gonna be immensely chatoic.
Sadly not, the Candy Boxes seem to be limited 7, both of them. If random events are turned on you can get more, but that had been the case prior already and is completely down to RNG, you may go hours without one

@@DexTag I did that run earlier and in the end screen tab candyboxes (I and II) seems to be limited to 8, I did have the random event but not sure if it was the reason I got an 8th of both (seems strange to only have 1 more for each)
and tbh I had orphion and couldn't see anything at some point so I stopped the run then I became bored :p
can't wait for next darkanas to be as crazy as these one

it seems that this Darkana in specific, is luck based, so the more luck you have, the more you'll see items being dropped every time you level up

Someone do a run with Cosmo and see if there's a limit with how many items can drop at a time
This will make Sammy gold farming broken, like absolutely insane due to the insane amount of gold you get

You don't even need to do that. I hit the gold cap (342 nonillion) in under 30 minutes with an eggless santa.

@@Oldmeme592 I'm not entirely sure what is triggering it, but it can be easily replicated. I use the evolved freeze/rosary weapons and victory sword, with the new darkanas and the one that buffs the drop chance of freeze. For whatever reason, the dairy farm seems to yield the quickest results
run idea: with queen sigma (or any character) get all darkanas and see the chaos
having played this since the new patch, i think there is a strange bug with into the future that causes the insane amount of gold gain all at once. helpful for adventure modes. also, its possible to evolve the guns and among us dlc weapons as you can get the necessary items for their evolutions from black chests from the darkana. thus, all you need is the ability to not get seizures from all the strobing colorful effects and time.

I love that the all weapons run is now vanilla
THey really need a always on top feature. Click the option and you, enemies, items and walls all get rendered on top the floor is still on the bottom so you can see the weapon vfx but it becomes the new floor. Maybe add a high contrast color border around objects and walls. Maybe also have a transparency slider for the attack vfx.

For some reason the overload of stimuli just makes the brain go into sleep mode.
That was a crazy amount of gains...
The frozen heart thing is such a good combo with this, it gives you so much growth (and also hp + recovery) which makes you level up extreme amounts, with ANY character
Oh and I forgot to say, the frozen prison (or smth like that) is very good for runetracer, it makes you freeze so many enemies and that means more of the frozen hearts
At this point they should add an option where you could force render all weapon SFX to lowest possible layer, near background, in other words monsters would be always visible on top. This would make huge difference. Or make it even worse, idk, lol.

Got a question. I can't see the animation of ophion at all. Is it a visual bug or something I accidently turned on in options? If anyone is experiencing the same problem or has a solution I would appreciate.

Dex ever non supercandybox you get a super as well I found this out by allowing random events and it can give you a candy box

Maybe you could do this again/something similar but a bit more planned out (since there's apparently a candybox limit) with that mod that lets you turn down weapon opacity. Turn it all the way down to near zero or actually zero, so you can see?
I think you can share your gold with every player in the world now and still be richer than anything else.
Dex is there a secret finger beyond cosmic if you break some sort of record?
Dex, you should use a map mod? so you can see exactly where you are on the stage and there has to be something in a mod that can clean up the vfx on the screen so you are not just staring at weapon fx?
I believe I got 340 *_UNDECILLIONS!!!_* one time with this thing, it's crazy, and I still had upgrades to buy so very nice :3

Its not an infinite or set amount of evolution candy boxes that you get, you can get one for every normal candy box you take.
Dex. You need to try a freeze build with the new Darkasso Crystal Cries. It's actually insane. Wicked Season, Jail of Crystal, and Crystal Cries. My 1st go at it I hit level 6152 with the Iguana Gallo.

Ah yes the crimson shroud the most broken evolution weapon because it caps damage you receive to 10 AKA the reaper counter

they are just very basic requirements
I don't think you reached the max or anything, you just never stop gaining levels so the boxes have no change to play out

It was tested by 2 other people and they also landed on 7, but that might be super rare RNG. Someone got more but due to the random events in the game, I mean the checkbox, which can also give Candyboxes
