    I love this quilt. When I saw the quilt I said no way could I make that quilt. But I watched the video and I can do it!!!! You are an excellent teacher and I WILL be making this quilt!! It is BEATUIFUL Misty. It is just beyond words!!! Very impressed!!!

    You can also label you piles with dot labels for left and right cuts for the background pieces

    Hi Misty, I enjoy your taste in projects, love the fabric choice & your demonstration style. I could never do that one. I love sewing alot but have never made a quilt, not even a lap quilt, but to an expert I guess it would be considered simple.

    I am so happy about this quilt. I have the template and the pattern that came with it but was very confused. This is the way I am going to do the two quilts I plan on making with the template. Your timing couldn't have been better for me as I started cutting out my ten inch squares last night. I have enjoyed all of your projects. Love this new format. Thank you!

    I made this quilt. The ruler I did find challenging. It slides easily. I messed up the direction/lines a few times. My blocks were about 9 3/4” square not 10” even though I used a Scant quarter inch seam. My advice is not to use pre cut 10” squares for your BACKGROUND but yardage that you can cut 10.25” square. It’s the only way I got 10” blocks. My quilt turned out very pretty. I love the secondary blocks.

    Love that you showed how to match up the colors but I really really loved the scrappier look of the one on your wall. Thanks for the explanation and another way to use my templates/rulers.

    This was a great tutorial. I would love to see this quilt with the fabrics reversed; the background where the print is. It would make for a completely different quilt

    I really like the look of this quilt. I think I would use the MSQC 10” foundation papers to keep the bias seams stable.

    Beautiful quilt, I really like the colours. I’m wondering, at about 9 minutes 18 seconds into the video, on your cutting table there’s a container resembling a 🧵, that’s holding in it scissors, a ruler, etc. Wondering where you found that pretty yet purposeful container?
