    This was live, earlier. When you see this comment area it's because the live is over. Click on your choices right below the video and you can click "live chat" so you can see the chat from when it WAS live. Honestly, it's impossible for someone to do the tutorial as they do AND read the computer screen and interact, answer questions etc. all by themselves. When Jake would read to her so she could talk, answer questions and interact and would also help explain - people complained. Then they switched in Liz to do Jake's part - people complained. What it comes down to is someone is always going to be unhappy.
    Misty (and Jenny, Natalie, Jake, Liz and ALL of MSQC) thank you for sharing tutorials and information here however you choose FOR FREE for me to choose to watch or not. THANK YOU 😃

      I know what you mean... it's just so sad to me that people feel the need to whine. When I take the time to watch tutorials on my computer, I watch what I want and feel so very thankful to the people who take the time, effort and money to do this for all of us. And for free! This was another of MSQC's fabulous (free for me) tutorial and Misty did exceptional work, as always. Blessings to you and yours, this Christmas season.

    CUTE!! I really love to use my Pinking Shears trim around projects that need to be turned out. I find it makes the seams around the perimeter lay very flat and easy to iron, so that none of the backing fabric shows from the top side. For example, I recently made a quilt using the CIRCLE MAJIC TEMPLATE and found I didn't have to fight with the fabric to get it to lay smoothly and evenly. This is a quick and adorable project Misty, thanks for the tutorial! ~~Christy~~

    • @micheletatro5483

      It may lay flat, but you should be able to curve it around a hot bowl with your hands.

    • @redhen689
      @redhen689 2 года назад +1

      If you want it to be curved, you have to add the equivalent of small darts to the seams along the outside edges. About 2 inches from the edge, gradually increase the seam allowance from 1/4 inch to maybe 3/4 of an inch. Try one first using a long stitch and test it out, and adjust it to how you like it to fit your bowl.

    You could do a better job of showing how the points all come together. Be more specific with the type of batting you use as there are so many different kinds and for anyone not familiar with batting if would help if you name the brand. Also, whatever camera you're using makes you look off to the side or something, not at the audience. Not a good way to do a video.
