Yasssss come through with the tip to save the day! Wetting the hair with hot water was by far the best advice anyone has given!!! Literally wasted a whole ball before seeing this and now I’ve separated two with your help!! Using for some mini twist with some hair from the hair store that don’t come all pretty like the online sellers! This was clutch!!

I paid 600 dollars for my installation. I wish I saw this video sooner but I got it done on my hair . I loved mine . Not having to constantly do my hair was lovely.

I have been wanting to do this for years and looked at hundreds if videos. Until i saw yours. I have been doing my own protective hair for years. Know finally my dream will come through. I totally did my daughter’s microlocs wrong. I had to install 8 due to breakage but I didn’t wet the hair nor did I feed in the hair I just braided it down and loc’d with a tool. Still works but yours looks so much nicer. Thanks for the videos.

How long can these last?
Omg this is amazing work! Do you suggest a rope twist (twist the pieces while twisting) or regular twist? I’ve seen both but not sure how the maturing will look either way. And will this hair give you a curl at the end?

These are so pretty! Thank you for sharing your process :). I'm in the same boat as her, I have small traditional locs and I'm thinking about taking them out to do micro locs. Do you have to wait a while before you wash these or can you wash your hair immediately without them slipping out? Because that is a concern I have lol
Oh ok cool! So washing them immediately could cause slippage. It takes a while for your hair to loc into the extension hair lol
As always, your work is 🔥.. I am impressed with the less expensive hair regarding this style. It still looks amazing! 👏🏾 . Question: Do you braid down past the length of the clients hair, then begin the 2 strand twists method? Thank you for providing this tutorial.. blessings 🙌🏽
Thank you so much! I appreciate your kind words! So it depends on the clients length of hair. I normally just gage where to stop as I work through it.
Ok that was the one out of 2 questions thanx sis. Second is this a permanent option, and do I have to take the hair out and redo it periodically? Oh I guess I have a 3rd Do you recommend this as my hair is past my shoulder though a bit thin so I have been in a tad conflict to do locs or micro.@ShardelHaden

I love how you did this. My micro locs was started by braiding the added at the roots. Will you please let me know is this correct because theirs no room to interlock it
Thank you so much! They can still be started that way. I just don't braid tight to the scalp because I know Im going to interlock it.

Question..I noticed on other videos I've seen that after it's finished, there is always a "Part" in the middle that you can't hide. Isn't there a way you can do it, where the middle part doesn't show like the parts in the back does not show,because the hair is covered?
Thank you! Some clients can opt to have no middle part. Just like any new style the parts that are seen are going to be super clean looking. As the style ages, that will change

Thank you! You mean interlock them? So no not necessarily. As long as they are close to the scalp you can skip that part for the install

First off, these are soo pretty! 😍 Thank you so much for sharing your method 🙏🏾 I have a few questions…I want to attempt to do this myself, maybe a bit bigger, but I don’t know how to do the feed in method. Could I braid my natural hair first and crochet the human hair in at the root? Would I still need to interlock if doing so? And what products do you recommend using?
Thank you so much! 😊 Yes you can do that method, just be careful with how much hair you add. You don't want a lump at the top or along your locs. You would need to interlock only if you don't braid tight. If there is no rim to interlock, do not interlock. Use a light gel to help with precise parting, maybe a mousse to help with the initial frizz and a misting bottle with water to mist the hair with! Good luck! 😉

I have an undercut and it’s been difficult trying to get it to grow out so I can add the micro loc extensions! U made it look so easy to still be able to install the locs…any helpful tips to speed this process up? I already have microlocs I just need the back to catch up with the rest of my locs😏

Thank you! No worries.. If Im understanding you correctly.. Im adding it at the beginning in my right hand.. adding it in like I would if I was doing knotless braids.. did that answer your question?

Honey you are so talented those are so beautiful okay so I watch another one of your videos and I want to do my hair just like this in this video but I'm a hair braider and I do my own so how will I do this because I see after you twisted her hair you go back and you like crochet the hair into her hair I don't know how to do feedings and I was going to start mine off as a braid and twists the rest of the way so when I get done do I crochet the hair into my as well ?
